Welcome to a new thing I'm hoping to do. I want to make more art and help wean myself off photo and screencap tracing, so I thought I'd start a comic strip with my giant toybox of characters! I came up with this idea in September of last year, but waited until now as I wanted to start it 30 years after the first webcomic I read, Sabrina Online, had started. What better way to start than a parody of the fourth strip from it that was ever released? I hope to do these monthly.
I'm happy with how this turned out; it was nice to indulge my autistic attention to detail - I even downloaded a replica of the font from GitHub - and I got to learn a bit about how Amigas work. That error screen is made from scratch! I also tried a bit more of an EWS-inspired art style, and although I'm going to keep my "healight" eyes, I might keep the softer, wavier muzzles. The blocky style was cool, but not quite organic enough. This is the best of both worlds, and looks fashionably retro.
Looking in my notes, Leslie was supposed to be a fox, but, uhh, I just... forgot... so Leslie's a skunk now!
