So... yeah. They revealed the new Mewtwo Forme today. Just. I... What?

Guys. No. Cutting off mewtwo's tail, strapping it to his head and attaching some easter basket handles, as well as painting his fingers and toes just... really doesn't do it for me.

O.O Okay... well, this was interesting way to get the news, as haven't been keeping up to date on Pokemon XY even though I only recently got back into original Pokemon games, though now it's kinda faded due to wanting to play other games I own, despite not first beating those ones I was playing. And supposed to mean something about your Pokemon form now (not so much being a Mewtwo) or just venting?

Rofl. I didn't think he needed another form either. Though one guy came up with the idea
that the dna fusers might be used to fuse mew and mewtwo together into that. Like they
did with Kyurem and the other two dragons. Regardless... Im interested to see if it's
another clone, a fusion, or an alt form.

Luna, to be fair, your character just has paint on her tail.

But I digress. This is a cycle. Whenever new Pokemon are released, there's a lot of fan rage. Then time passes, and people warm up to them. Eventually they become loved.

...And finally, you draw Luna getting raped by them. Poor Luna.

I won't deny that it looks weird, but... I'm a bit intrigued. It has a certain alien feel to it, and I'm curious about that. The in-game footage of it is pretty awesome, too.

Actually, her character looks closer to a Morrowind MogMod Moogle with a mew's tail (and minus the wings&bobble) than she does mew or (especially) mewtwo.

Ah well, part of the reason I like the character so much.

Its not the fact that this is an ugly pokemon that gets people. Ugly 'mons are nothing new, every generation has them. No, what gets fans frothing at the mouth is that fact that Mewtwo is a very popular classic pokemon, and for the first alternate form (or evolution, details aren't clear yet) for Mewtwo we get THIS. I mean COME ON, people have been drawing Mewthrees for years, and most of the fan versions are better than this.

Think of what it would be like if there was an alternate form or evolution this bad for Lucario. It would probably be the first internet flame war that involved actual flames.
