Per readers' request, I made the entire timeline of the Misbegotten Kittens lore so far and including a little teaser about the game and the next comic chapter. This took insanely long to make because I absurdly decided to use LaTeX/Tikz and my OCD wanted it to look perfect.

I refuse to explain the symbols or the colors, it's more fun to let you guys figure them out from their context.

Wait, Misbegotten Kittens 2 was only like 300 years ago? I'd have expected that to be longer. Given back then it was medieval/fantasy and "now" it's already scifi tech.

Not quite. The game story (the teal one on top, with kings and dames) will be medieval fantasy. Chapters 2 and 4 were more like... industrial revolution fantasy? 18th century in real life.

I do feel that that also runs into the issue of Esperanza being presented as an established working society, when it's only been around for, at most, 9 years.

I bet “Rawhead —> Esperanza” isn’t there because there’s no way the project could ever even get started without our fluffy Dr. J.R. So he was there from minute-one! Am I right?

I do have a story planned about how Javalier got to Esperanza, I even wrote the script down, but I didn't want to risk it adding it to the timeline until I'm sure of when exactly it happens. It'd still be pretty early after the founding of Esperanza, since his kids were born there only three years in.

It's actually canon that good guys can wear shoes too, and some bad guys are barefoot. I just don't want people to lewd over bad guys.
