When Charmy told Glacier that she planned on diving extremely deep today - about 1,500 feet down - she was pretty surprised when the glaceon asked to go with her! Knowing how he normally was about water, she definitely wasn't expecting that bravery to last... But, sure enough, when the two got to the ocean, he dove down right away when Charmy did. Now, hundreds of feet underwater, Charmy is still in awe of how much better Glacier was doing than usual... Even he didn't know where that came from, when the two talked about it after eventually coming up safely from their deep dive. They certainly hoped it'd last though!

squirtlerocks07 and I did an RP based on this.

S: Today, a certain glaceon named Glacier woke up in a particularly brave mood, he wanted to do something daring, exciting, and adventurous, but as he paces around his house, he couldnt think of anything to do

L: There's a knock at his door, a charmander friend of his having come by. "Hey Glacier, you there? I was in the area, figured I'd come by!"

S: "Hmm? Now who can that be?"

Glacier then opens his door up to see his charmander friend

"Oh hi! Its good to see you! Glad you came by to see me!"

L: "Been a little bit, huh? Anyway, I was passing through here on my way to head for the ocean for some diving, and I know water tends to get you nervous, but... Do you want to come along?"

S: Glacier's ears perked up at this, a dive would normally scare him, but since he woke up feeling super brave, he actually nods at that

"Yeah! I love to come with you!"

L: "Wait, really? Alright, cool! I didn't really expect that, guess today must be a good day for you, huh?"

S: "Heh, yep! I woke up in a brave mood! Just lemme grab my goggles and we can head off"

Glacier heads back inside his home for a moment and grabs some goggles, putting them on his forehead for now

"Ok, I'm ready!"

L: The charmander's made sure to bring some as well, and he put them on his forehead while he waited for Glacier. "Let's get going then!" He starts bringing Glacier to the beach.

S: Glacier's tail wags excitingly at the water in front of them, he really was feeling brave today

"Ahh, a perfect day for a dive, huh buddy?"

L: "Yep, and a perfect place to do it! I plan on going pretty deep, you can join me for that if this good mood of yours keeps up." The charmander puts his goggles down over his eyes.

S: this made Glacier even more excited, he was feeling adventurous for a reason as he too puts his own goggles down over his eyes

"Oooh! Sounds good to me! I definitely wanna go deep with you, i don't even care how deep you wanna go!"

L: "Nice, then let's really push ourselves!" The charmander gets into the water and starts swimming along the surface, looking for a good spot to start the dive.

S: "Yeah! Sounds like a plan!"

Glacier follows close behind, looking down for a nice spot to get started before turning to the charmander

"So how deep do you wanna go then?"

L: "Pretty far down, this section of ocean goes really deep... I wanted to challenge myself to beat my depth record, and that's over 1,000 feet underwater."

S: "Whoa!! 1,000 feet underwater?! Now thats what I call a challenge! I dont even think ive ever been that deep before, but as i said I'm feeling really brave today, so I'm still gonna tag along!"

L: "Let's do it then! I think we're in a good spot to start heading down... Get some deep breaths, and we'll start this huge dive." The charmander starts breathing deeply.

S: "Alright!" Glacier starts breathing deeply as well, his confidence still very much there on his face

L: Soon, the charmander's ready, and figures Glacier is as well. "Okay, and 3, 2, 1, dive!" He holds his breath and dives down.

S: and to the charmander's surprise, Glacier holds his own breath and dives under on the first try! Completely confident

L: The charmander is indeed surprised at that, having never seen Glacier dive so soon before. Smiling at them, he starts swimming deeper.

S: Glacier smiles back as he follows the charmander down deeper in the water

L: The bottom below them isn't visible at all, and likely won't be for a pretty long time... The charmander's not put off by that though, continuing the descent.

S: Glacier continues to put on a brave face and continues down with the charmander, small bubbles leaving his nostrils

L: The water pressure gradually increases as the two go deeper, and the charmander looks over at Glacier every now and then to make sure they're still doing okay.

S: Even with the water pressure increasing, Glacier shows no sign of fear, he looks determined as they swim down

L: Continuing to be impressed with Glacier, the charmander keeps going down with them. The light from above is beginning to fade now.

S: Still no fear shows on Glacier's face, he even looks back at the Charmander with a determined grin, his face only now flushing just a bit red

L: The charmander's blushing a little too, but smiles back at Glacier and nods to them, still looking determined as well.

S: Glacier releases some air from his nostrils to get rid of the burn starting in his lungs, then with a smirk he swims down a bit faster pasted the charmander, as if in this moment it was a race

L: Quickly realizing what Glacier's intending, the charmander speeds up too, now wanting to see who can get to the seafloor first.

S: Glacier sticks his tongue out playfully at the charmander as he got a bit of a lead, swimming down deeper and deeper

L: "Yoblu're noblt goblnna beblat mble!" Charmander does his best to keep up with Glacier.

S: "Oblh ybles I ablm!"

Glacier gets another burst of speed, which does cause him to lose a bit more air as his face turns more red, but he's still being brave

L: The charmander's got just about a fully red face too, but he doesn't care, focusing too much on the race to notice.

S: Glacier was starting to wonder how much further they need to go to get to the seafloor, the amount of determination that was on Glacier's face is pretty shocking to the charmander, normally he be freaking out going this far under

L: Finally though, the seafloor is becoming visible! It's good that it is, as it's starting to get a bit hard to see from how little light is coming down from above.

S: Glacier knew the bottom was coming up, and he goes down as fast as he can towards it, wanting to finally win this race

L: The charmander goes to his top speed as well, trying his best to beat Glacier in the last stretch.

S: it was really close, but Glacier just barely manages to touch the bottom of the seafloor first, giggling out bubbles once he did and ignoring his fully red face for now

"Hbla! I wblin!"

L: The charmander touches the bottom just after. "Mabln, sblo clblose... Bublt hbley, wble mablde iblt hblere!"

S: "Wble sublre dblid! Hiblgh fblive"

he extends one of his front paws to the charmander so he can high five it

L: The charmander gives him a high five. "Webl're deblfinblitebly ovbler 1,000 feblet doblwn, mablybe moblre liblke 1,500!"

S: "Thblats is crblazy! Thblis ibls wblild! Mmm!" Glacier covers his mouth for a moment as a burst of bubbles escapes him, his face turning a little blue

L: "Obl-okblay, wble nebled tblo stblart gobling bablck ublp, itbl's abl loblng trblip..." Starting to go a bit blue as well, the charmander jumps off the bottom to start heading for the surface.

S: "Rblight" Glacier quickly starts going up as well, trying to go quickly. But his bravery is still intact

L: The charmander tries to keep himself from losing many bubbles as he swims up fast, he and Glacier now sort of in a second race, though not against each other this time.

S: Glacier remains calm despite the situation hes in as he swims up as fast as possible, leaking a few bubbles every now and then

L: Fairly soon, the bottom goes back to not being visible, though it's still going to be a long trip upward. At this point, the charmander is the scared one, worried about whether he and Glacier will surface in time.

S: Glacier noticed the Charmander getting scared, and while his bravery finally falters just a bit, he was still determined to make it as he swims up faster

L: The water around the two is gradually getting more light, but the charmander whines a little, covering his mouth for a moment before continuing to swim.

S: Glacier covers his own mouth too for a second before resuming the swim, he's actually hoping the two make it back up

L: The charmander's face is starting to go purple... His eyes go wide as his lungs burn, bubbles starting to continually leak past his lips.

S: thankfully, as Glacier's face turns purple too and feels the burn in his own lungs along with bubbles leak from his own lips, the surface was just within reach and two surface just before things could go wrong, with Glacier gasping very heavily for air

"Hah...hah...hah...hah, whoa, that was....close! What a dive!"

L: The charmander gasps as well, panting hard. "M-man, I love that kind of thing... R-REALLY pushed it there!"

S: "Your telling me! That was insane! But it was pretty fun! I still can't get over how brave I was down there!"

L: "I need a break after that... We should head back to shore for a while... Still really happy you've gotten so brave out of nowhere, I hope you stay that way!"

S: "Yeah we'll see how long this lasts, and I need a break too"

Glacier swims back to shore with the charmander

L: When the charmander gets back to shore, he puts his goggles back up on his forehead. "Once we're ready to get back to swimming, maybe we could stay a bit more casual for a while instead of going super deep again."

S: Glacier puts his own goggles up on his forehead too

"Yeah sure, but even after that deep dive, I still feel adventurous! Heh"

L: "I think I heard there's an underwater cave around here, how about we go check that out later then?"

S: "Sure, sounds good to me, but yeah for now lets rest, my lungs are kind of tired"

L: "Same here..." The charmander sits down in the sand to relax.

S: Glacier sits besides him, putting one of his front legs around the charmander in a hug as they relax
