W: (Last time on William's Adventures, William and Sonic visited Equestria to help in winter wrap-up, unfortunately the melt proved too much for the dam. The mane 6 drowned but were revived by FBI officer in training Judy Hopps back in William's dimension. What will happen next? Stay tuned and find out)
(Sonic was asleep in his bed as the sun rose)
Good morning hydro county, it's 5 past the hour of 6:00 a.m. in the big rural wetlands. Temperature is a balmy 75° which is perfect for reptiles and hey it's probably a good time to just lie in bed, sleep in, or simply; WORK OFF THE FLAB THAT'S HANGING OVER THE BED! Get up Sonic! (Blows an air horn inches from his face)
L: Sonic: "AH!" He instantly jolts awake, nearly falling out of bed in the process. "Was I THAT hard to wake up!?"
W: It was all tails's idea
L: Sonic sighs, and gets out of bed, stretching as he does. "Well... Have to admit, it's at least a little funny."
W: Anyway, I need you to go on ahead to waterscape Utopia. Cirrus will be joining you.
L: "Alright, I'll head over. I've heard of that place, it's a good thing I can breathe underwater now."
W: And make sure you don't go too fast for him, all right?
L: "Yeah, I'll make sure to hold back for him if we race or anything."
W: Good luck Sonic
L: "See you later, Will!" Sonic rushes off to head for Waterscape Utopia.
W: (knocks on Diane's door) Diane, today is the big day. Are you ready in there?
L: Diane calls out from inside. "Yep, just about!"
After a few seconds, she opens up the door, and is pretty well-dressed in preparation. "Hard to believe the day's finally come..."
W: Me too. (Loona was prepared with full scuba diving equipment) I say, you were prepared
L: Loona nods. "Gotta be good and ready for a place like where we're going, right?"
W: Good point
L: Diane: "Well, guess we'd better get going, huh? Can't be late!"
W: Right, let's go. Also, Tails mentioned that he built something for us to get there with greater ease. Never specified what
L: Loona: "I bet it's gonna be cool, whatever it is. From what you guys have told me, he always makes some pretty neat stuff."
W: True, true. (I send Cirrus a message explaining Sonic needs his help to set up our wedding in waterscape Utopia)
L: Cirrus responds with "ok".
Diane: "Hope everything's gonna be ready in time..."
W: (we head out to the coast and find a flawless one to one scale replica of the Atlas submarine mod from subnautica being lifted into the air by a crane)
L: Diane: "Woah, Tails made that!? Even for him that's impressive!"
Loona: "Oh, that's awesome!"
W: Hey Tails, spectacular building skills!
L: Tails comes over to the group, smiling. "Thanks! This one was a ton of work, but it came out pretty well!"
W: Certainly did. (Meanwhile, Sonic had discovered something about his drown toggler. It was stuck on with mode on "paralyzed", And he wouldn't know until he started inhaling water)
L: As Sonic runs through the ocean, it occurs to him he's holding his breath even though he doesn't really need to any more. When he inhales, he's surprised as he starts to "drown"!
W: (Cirrus noticed Sonic's choking and gasping fit)
L: Cirrus stops as he notices that. "Whblat!? Ibl thblougblht yoblu cobluld brbleatblhe unblderblwatbler!" He grabs onto Sonic and starts quickly bringing them up to the surface.
W: Sonic: (his gasps actually get him air once at the surface)
L: Cirrus: "What happened down there? Could've sworn Will gave you a way to not need to breathe a while back..."
W: Sonic: dammit Eggman, he must have hacked into my toggler at some point
L: "That's gonna be a real issue then, with what's planned for the wedding... Should we try to meet up with Tails and see if he can fix it?"
W: Sonic: i think I heard Blubby's on his way too
L: "Right, he is... I suppose if you're fine with breathing bubbles from him the whole time, we shouldn't actually have much to worry about."
W: Sonic: on second thought, Id rather stay drowned. (he remembered drowning cant kill him anymore)
L: "...Well, if you're sure. We'll just head back down then." Cirrus holds his breath and dives back underwater with Sonic.
W: (meanwhile, Blubby was just arriving in Waterscape Utopia)
L: With this being his first time coming there, he takes a little while to have a look around, impressed with the place.
W: (a friendly sea serpent swims over) welcome to Waterscape Utopia. Ive been expecting you. my name is Finley
L: "Hbli! Yeblah, Ibl'm hblere tblo hblelp mbly frblienblds seblt ublp foblr thble weblddiblng."
W: Finley: excellent! I heard they're on their way, said something about expecting a massive submarine. Just be sure to let us know If you need air
L: "Ibl shbloulbld ble fiblne foblr abl feblw hoblurs, bublt moblst oblf thble otblherbls wibll nebled moblre aiblr thblan Ibl dblo."
W: (in the Atlas sub, Tails piloting, me and Diane in our wedding attire. The main six are also there but they don't have any speaking parts, yet)
L: Diane: "It's going to be weird, being underwater for so long on one dive... But I think I'm going to end up liking it."
W: Look, there's Sonic and Cirrus.
L: Cirrus notices the submarine, and after a moment where he's clearly impressed, he waves to the group in it.
Sonic is already drowned at this point, but smiles at the group since he just can't move.
W: Cirrus, what's wrong with Sonic?
L: Cirrus: "Hblis drblown toblgglbler ibls stbluck obln foblr soblme reblasobln. Itbl's ablt leblast onbly obln pablralblyze, bublt wble dobln't knblow whblat's wrblong wiblth iblt."
Loona: "Well, that really sucks... He at least doesn't look too annoyed about it."
W: Yeah, even looks quite relaxed, in his face at least.
Sonic: Im... Actually liking this...*hic*
L: Cirrus: "Yeblah, hble sablid hble's okblay wiblth iblt. Sblo, noblt reblallbly abl biblg deblal."
Diane: "Good to know he's not in pain or anything."
W: (a distant laugh from someone Sonic instantly recognized followed by a distress signal showed up on the AR screen of the sub) Sonic: (face contorts to anger) eggman...
Tails: someone's trapped in a sinking ship!
L: Cirrus: "Wablit, whblat? Whblere!? Ibl cabln gblo hblelp thblem!"
W: (The searchlight's on the sub light up, pointing directly towards the sinking ship)
L: Cirrus: "Okblay, Ibl goblt iblt!" He sets down Sonic, and rushes for the ship.
Loona: "Good luck, Cirrus!"
W: (inside, a small female tarantula was holding her breath, trying to get out)
L: Cirrus starts carefully breaking apart the walls of the ship as he looks for her. "Hblellblo? Hblang ibln thblere, Ibl'm goblnna geblt yoblu oublt!"
W: (she taps against the floor just as she started inhaling water and started drowning)
L: Hearing the tapping lets Cirrus figure out where she is, and after a bit more rushing through the ship, he gets to the room she's in. "Dablmn, yoblu're alblreabldy drblownbling... Stblay awblake, thblis wobln't tablke loblng!" He gently grabs her and starts making his way back out with her.
W: (meanwhile, Judy was racing to the port as fast as her FBI painted police car can go. Emergency lights flashing and siren wailing)
L: Judy: "Ugh, I hope I'm not gonna be too late..."
W: (she screeched to a stop at the quay, just as Cirrus surfaced)
L: Cirrus sets the tarantula down on the quay. "This might end up being my first time doing CPR on a spider, if it comes to that..."
W: Judy: bring her here, I'll take care of this. (The spider girl was drowned and unconscious)
L: Cirrus gently moves the spider girl over to Judy. "Careful with her..."
W: (she holds her in one paw and applied pressure with the other, kickstarting her survival reflexes and reawakening)
L: Cirrus: "Oh! You certainly made that look easy... But I suppose I don't exactly know spider CPR."
W: Judy: easy girl, youre safe now
L: The spider girl is coughing a lot, but recovering. "Th-thanks for that... Th-that was way too close..."
W: Judy: whats your name?
L: Spider: "I'm Ms. Tarantula... I usually go by Webs though."
Cirrus: "Well, I'm really glad you're okay, Webs."
W: Judy: can you explain what happened?
L: Webs: "I'm not really sure, things just started going wrong with all the ship's computer systems, and then the whole thing started flooding..."
Cirrus: "Hm... Maybe that Eggman person Sonic mentioned did that..."
W: Judy: him again? that guy is getting on my nerves.
L: Cirrus: "You've heard of him too? Sounds like he's nothing but trouble."
W: Judy: You don't even know the half of it. He has been Sonic's Arch enemy since the latter was 12.
L: Webs: "And I suppose now he's starting to come after me as well..."
Cirrus: "Nobody's ever been able to stop him or anything? He can't be THAT tough..."
W: Judy: Sonic always manages to defeat him whenever he's up to no good, but I fear this may push him too far
L: Cirrus: "Well, with this guy never really stopping, clearly something has to be done..."
W: (back at waterscape Utopia, the rest of us were arriving)
L: Blubby helps everyone get settled in, and makes sure they know they can get air from him if they need it.
W: Finley: we can also feed specialized bubbles that we call "Bubbles of life".
L: Twilight quickly realizes something. "Hbley, thblat's thble sablme thbling thblat seblapoblniebls cabll thble bublbles thbley giblve aiblr-brbleatblherbls!"
W: Finley: wow, what a coincidence. And I say, someone prepared very thoroughly. (Points out Loona's scuba setup)
L: Loona nods and gives a thumbs up, before briefly removing her regulator to talk. "Soblme oblf thblese foblks arble coblol wiblth pobltenbltiablly drblownbling, bublt Ibl thblink Ibl'd prblefeblr keblepiblng mbly lublngs drbly."
W: Finley: understandable. And you two must be the couple about to wed.
Me: Yes, yes we are. Please, show us where the wedding venue is.
L: Diane: "It's great to finally be here!"
Blubby: "Thble veblnuebl's riblght ovbler hblere." He starts leading the group along.
W: (Twilight was starting to get a red blush from holding her breath)
L: While she's been trying to ignore her need for air, it's getting harder for her to do so, as she gradually lets out bubbles a little more often over time.
W: (one of the sea creatures noticed and reacted calmly)
L: A friendly-looking thresher shark speaks up. "Excuse me miss, are you okay? I could go get you some air, no sense in pushing yourself. Unless you enjoy that?"
Twilight: "Sbl-soblme aiblr wobluld ble niblce, yeblah."
W: (he guides her to a bubble vent)
L: Twilight carefully inhales some of the bubbles to catch her breath. "Alblrigblht, thblankbls!"
W: (she was on time for the wedding to start)
L: She quickly finds a spot to watch, hoping she'll be able to hold her breath for the whole thing.
W: Finley: friends, we are gather here today to witness the unification of these 2. Diane Foxington, Do you take William to be your husband?
L: Diane's tail is wagging as she smiles. "I do!"
W: Finley: and William, do you take Diane to be your wife?
Me: I do
Finley: I hearby pronounce this couple husband and wife
L: Diane happily kisses you.
W: (the aquatic audience cheers)
L: There's some cheering from even the air-breathers as well, not really caring about losing air for the moment.
W: As long as we both shall live, no matter what happens, we will stay together
L: Diane: "And there's nothing in the world that could ever change that."
W: Cirrus, You can take Sonic home now.
L: Cirrus nods. "Ibl'm sublre hble'll ble hblappbly tblo ble able tblo moblve agblain." He picks up Sonic and starts heading out with them.
W: (back at my house) Judy: this is where you'll be staying. Many of William's friends live here together under one roof
L: Webs has a look around. "This is a pretty impressive place! I don't think I'll mind being here."
W: Judy: I'll see about getting you a proper bed for your small size
L: "Until then, I can probably just go with, like... A shoebox and some cloth. But I'm sure it won't be hard to get an actual bed for me."
W: Judy: let's see what we have.
L: There does seem to be a few good options around that could be made or just used as-is, though certainly none that'd be as good as a proper bed.
W: Judy: this should work. (Folds a clean cloth into a tiny pet bed)
L: "Yep, that'll be fine for now. Thanks for the help."
W: Judy: (sets Webs down so she can rest) let me know when you're ready for an interview
L: "Probably won't be too long, just want to relax a bit after all that's happened today."
W: Judy: I don't blame you. (Webs hears someone gurgling in another room, obviously drowning)
L: Webs looks over toward where the sound's coming from, quickly getting concerned. "Is whoever that is okay?"
W: Judy: oh, they're fine, this house has a special addition that makes the water in here safe to drown in. That didn't sound as good as it did in my head
L: "...That's... Weird. Good to know it's safe though. Guess I'm gonna have to get used to hearing that..."
W: Judy: I know I have
L: "Are they the only one that does that here? There must be some kind of appeal to it, so maybe I'll be asking them to explain it to me..."
W: Judy: Well there are many here that you can talk to.
L: "Good, then I can how it appeals to a bunch of different people."
W: (Judy leaves Webs to get some rest)
L: Webs takes a nap for a while while she rests.
W: (meanwhile, back at the Atlas sub, everyone was disembarking at the harbor)
L: Blubby: "It was really nice to be there with all you guys!"
Cirrus: "I've never once seen an underwater wedding before, that was neat!"
W: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Aj: I wonder who was on that sinkin' ship?
L: Cirrus: "That was a spider girl, she goes by Webs. Judy brought her back to Will's place, which is hopefully okay."
W: Me: webs, you mean Miss tarantula? She's one of the best hackers in the whole United States!
L: Diane: "She's still out there, huh? Well, glad she's okay, it'll be nice to see her again."
W: Sonic: there he is again. What's eggman doing here? Oh never mind, this time I'll get him good! (Races off towards him, leaving a Sonic boom in his wake)
Whoa! He sounds pissed
L: Cirrus: "He does seem to have some history with that guy... Hope he manages to stop them."
Diane: "I'm sure he will, he's done it before."
W: Yeah but the way he took off with such speed, I don't think Sonic will be going easy on him this time.
Rd: And here I thought I was fast
L: Blubby: "Yeah, Sonic's really on a whole other level of speed... Even Cirrus can't keep up, and I thought nobody could be faster than him."
W: (meanwhile, Sonic was racing towards eggman's base at his top speed, rage burning inside him) Orbot: doctor, Sonic is coming towards here and he is really moving fast, faster than I've ever seen.
L: Eggman sighs. "He just doesn't know when to quit... Alright, we'll take him down like always!"
W: Sonic: not this time! (The 7 chaos emeralds hover around him) I'm not holding back anymore. (Yells as he Transforms into Super Sonic)
L: "We'll just see if that's enough this time!"
W: (Super Sonic proceeded to utterly destroy everything in his path with a rage never before seen)
L: "...I suppose I should've seen this coming at this point..."
W: (back at my place) Judy: file 82-712, FBI officer Judy Hopps interrogating. State your name please.
L: Webs: "My name is Ms. Tarantula. I usually go by Webs."
W: Judy: tell me about the incident with the ship
L: "I still really don't know much. Everything was fine at first, then all the computers went down and the ship started flooding."
W: Judy: the report showed a software override of the ship's computer system
L: "That would actually explain it, it all went down at once... No idea who could've done it though."
W: Judy: there are only very few in this world who is capable of that. And Sonic has his own suspicions. (A ginormous mushroom cloud explosion can be seen far off in the distance)
L: Webs looks over at that. "That's... Probably not good. Wonder what that was..."
W: Judy: That was most likely Sonic unleashing his full power
L: Webs: "He's that powerful? I'll definitely need to not get him mad then..."
W: Judy: rest assured, as long as you don't cause any trouble, he won't
L: "Alright, good to know. Though I'll probably still be nervous being around someone that can do that."
W: Judy: (inserts the loaded cassette into a machine) have you told any of your friends about the incident?
L: "Nobody so far but you and that eastern dragon that saved me."
W: Judy: All right, I understand.
L: Webs sighs a bit. "I sort of wish I could forget about all that, I'm gonna be having nightmares about drowning now..."
W: Judy: You will, webs. (The machine fires a suction cup that sticks right on her forehead) You will.
L: "What the- What's happening, what are you doing!?"
W: (The mindwipe suddenly goes to work, Knocking her unconscious)
L: Webs immediately passes out, collapsing to the floor.
W: (meanwhile, in another part of the house, Sonic was resting on the couch, haven't used the all of his energy decimating eggman's base and subsequently terminating him) wow, you really pushed yourself hard. Those chaos emeralds must be more useful to you than I thought.
L: Sonic: "They really come in handy when just speed isn't enough. I try not to use them much, though."
W: That makes sense.
L: "Anyway, glad to finally be rid of Eggman... No way he's coming back this time."
W: No kidding. What did you do, unleash a nuke style chaos blast?
L: "Pretty much, yeah. Never done a chaos blast before, those are more Shadow's thing... But hey, it worked."
W: Clearly. You just rest now, you did great
L: "Yeah, thanks." Sonic closes his eyes, sighing a bit as he relaxes.
W: Judy, how's webs?
L: Judy: "She's unconscious right now while the mindwipe does its thing, but she'll be fine soon."
W: Okay, good. Well, Diane and I are about to head off for our honeymoon. You want to come too Loona?
L: Loona: "Sure, might be fun."
W: (but that is a story for another day)
