The final morning of the camping trip had arrived. Kody woke up with Tiki snuggled tightly in his arms and he had no intention to get out of bed. He wished time would freeze so that they could enjoy this moment to their hearts' content.
Naturally his morning wood was pressing into the smaller fox. Kody very gently started to pet the fox from the back of his neck, down to his tail. Whether or not Tiki was awake, he seemed to try to bury himself deeper into Kody's embrace as a response to the wolf's petting.
Kody's pets slowed and the wolf drifted off.
Kody woke up again to Tiki pushing his whole body against the wolf intently. Tiki was nuzzling and wedging his nose under Kody's neck. It'd seem that the fox kit is now awake. The wolf began to pet him again, which was met with the fox wrapping his arms around the wolf's midsection and squeezing him tightly; or as tight for a ten year old can.
Savoring the fox's affection, the wolf's paw rubbed the fox's back, focusing around the fox's hips and cute butt. Tiki responded by nuzzling against the wolf's neck more.
An hour or more had passed before they both reluctantly separated. The sun was up now, and they knew it wouldn't be long before the scout master would come looking for them.
They had to breakdown their camp, get everything packed and be on the busses back home by noon.
"Tiki..." Kody said after they had dressed. From his bag, he brought out a poster card that he bought from the camp's souvenir shop. He gave it over to Tiki, turning it to show what he wrote on the back. "That's my cell phone number, and my email. I wrote down my gaming instant messenger ID too."
Tiki looked up to Kody and it seemed he was on the verge of tears. "I'll... try," was all he said. Kody frowned, but he could sense what Tiki meant; his familial structure may deny him the chance to have a simple email, or make a simple call without being interrogated.
"Wh-what town do you live in Tiki?" Kody asked the question he feared to ask. He hoped desperately that Tiki lived nearby... but he also feared that he may not keep himself away from Tiki, and that Tiki's family might sniff out the inappropriateness of their relationship so far.
Tiki named the town and school he went to, and Kody realized with mixed emotions that Tiki lived about an hour drive from him. It was far enough that it was inconvenient and would cause questions on why he drove that far to see a ten year old fox... but not far enough to be difficult to see him if he really wanted to. And knowing his school basically gave Kody where Tiki would be at what times...
Solemnly, the two continued to gather their things. They were checked in on by the scout master at some point, and they were soon joining the rest of the troupe heading toward the entrance of the camp to wait for the bus.
Kody stayed near Tiki, and despite trying to act normal, both had their ears down. Kody noticed another boy from the troupe glancing towards them bashfully now and then. When the bus finally arrived, the troupe started to pile on.
Kody waited, and he was somewhat shielded from the rest of the troupe on the bus so he didn't hold himself back while he hugged Tiki from behind. "I love you, little brother," Kody whispered to the fox.
"I love you too, Kody," Tiki leaned back into the hug. It lasted only a few seconds, and far too short before they both got on the bus as well. They could not sit next to each other as camp counselors had to sit up front, and soon they were headed on their way home.
