Ada the Bombirdier: Like many other things, trains have permeated Japanese culture in their own way. From the Shinkansen to metro pushers, they elevate the places they connect into first-class objects – destinations, attractions, personalities. Given that private cars come at a steep premium in Japan, trains are truly the most convenient way of getting from A to B.
Spindle: I've been wanting to make that joke for years.
Ada: (chuckles) Oh, don't worry about that, we just got a little unlucky. Back to the point: Parcly put me on this travel cover since she and Spindle are going on yet another trip to Japan, starting right on the New Year. The alicorn genie knows about hanafuda and riichi and she noted my similarity to the crane appearing on the bright January hanafuda card.
Parcly Taxel: We're not going far outside Tokyo or doing anything special on this trip, but I can guarantee to myself that I will be pleasantly surprised. This land never ceases to surprise.
