The story of Johnny and Lori

Johnny and Lori, with all his team, entered inside a large trial to keep themselves somewhat isolated from the dangers that ocurred in Lori's dimension. By no means the tests they had to endure where easy, but they had a better probability of surviving inside. The world they had arrived in was in full chaos, with incredibly powerful creatures that could disintegrate any of the adventurers with a single ray. "The route" as it was known, is composed of 50 individual tasks that can take months to finish, if that even happens. Only the most courageous and resistant are able to accomplish the end and receive a reward for their efforts.
Johnny and Lori helped diligently his teammates. They were underprepared though the team had a few trick under their sleeves. Johnny and Lori got to know each other, and Johnny opened up about the truth of this dimension to her. This place was bound to repeat itself for a year, and Lori was trapped inside that infinite cycle. She would forget everything that had ocurred, and would experience the trauma of being slaughtered by those creatures over and over with all the other inhabitants. Johnny, on the other hand, had already fallen for her, but remained truthful as his friends had already told her she might not be able to come back with them...
Johnny became increasingly restless, as they got closer to the end. He had never loved someone like he had, and losing her would be painful... Though their cubs, would be the souvenir of their time together. A part of her would have survived their ordeal.
Once they defeated the last trial, completely exhausted, it was time for everyone's wishes. Lori quickly jumped and took the initiative.
"I want to return with Johnny to his home place."
It took everyone by surprise. The magical dimension created on the spot a ring's half. Even with all its might, it couldn't finish it for her to allow to escape this forsaken place. Johnny look at her with love in her eyes. He hadn't planned for anything like this, but he knew this was what he wanted.
"I want Lori to return with us."
In a blink of an eye, the missing piece materialized, finishing what was left incomplete. Johnny slid the ring on Lori's finger, knowing that his pleas had been listened, and now he was able to complete a happy family with her.
