With so many reports circulating about the economy faltering, company lay-offs, and the national debt, I figured I'd upload this one.
Freddy Skunk had gotten in a bind with credit card debt, and recently had a brand new car repossessed that he wasn't able to afford.
In lieu of resorting to filing bankruptcy, Freddy went to see a finance councilor at an agency that makes arrangements with creditors to reorganize consumer debts.
Shown here, the finance councilor, Doris Skunk, is reading a story to Freddy. It is about a fictional opossum, Little Johnny Po Boy, who got into a lot of financial trouble with reckless debt.
Doris made sure to remind Freddy, "If you can't afford the payments, you can't afford the debt".
