Lena loves to just be cozy, relaxed and comfortable at home. After what she's been through in the past, it's nice that she can feel safe somewhere~
It's really interesting comparing this picture with Lena's first introduction piece a few years ago. Like yeah a little bit changed art-wise like anatomy and such, but there's some key differences in how I draw her now that i'm more confident in drawing her, you know? While I liked her original design elements, she just looks... "complete" now?
Nothing like getting good and cozy, especially in this season! I may prefer doing it with some plushies and a soft blankie, but then again I'm a feral cat, we never wear clothes anyways >~_^< But she looks so absolutely lovely and comfy! I do love that big soft chestfloof, and her curled tail is really cute and looks very soft too >^_^<

You did a great job and the anatomy is on point. I like how ... structured she is, how you've clearly put a lot of thought into her form. She's got paws that clearly can support her figure and you always do well when it comes to hair.

Thankya! I like her bangs to be 'fuller' like this rather than her first drawing, and her paws were smaller I think? I wanted her to still look... small, like how a german spitz should be, and she IS, but when she's not drawn next to someone else I guess it's not as noticeable. (She's also just more healthy these days, so not as thin as when she was with Tobias or the couple years afterwards.)

It's not that they are big. It's more ... you know what you want her size to be, compared to your other characters, so fans can pick her out. I speak more that you are one of the few artists who pay attention to muscle and bone structure and it reflects in her limbs. Her feet clearly can support her body which I guess is a weird thing to focus on, not so much because of paw/foot fetish, but that you clearly are thinking of such things apart from the usual "How will my fans sexualize her." that i'm sure is a issue in a highly sexual fandom.

Not weird at all! An artist appreciates when the small details are noticed. Even if it's things we do subconsciously. The CCT comic as a whole has prepared me for world building in a way I haven't even fully shown in the comic yet. Not that there's anything wrong with "I drew this character to be cute/sexy, mission accomplished," but I wanted to develop clothing that makes sense for anthros, or how they stand and support themselves properly etc. I need to upload some of those ideas/sketches one of these days. Especially as a certain character eventually enters the story~ <w<
