In April 2025 I was contacted by porteryx, a Russian artist on Telegram, and asked if I wanted a comic commission. After mulling over it for a month I went ahead and commissioned them for a comic depicting Tori Taxel's origin story – how she became a genie, as explained on her character page.
It was a long, drawn-out process, and I was asked several times to send over more money to cover their massive debt; fortunately I had enough money for that, earned from doing contractor work for an American AI company involved in automated theorem formalisation and proving. So grateful was the artist for my donations that they offered to be my personal artist indefinitely.
