Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures Nubs In, Lightsaber Training With Yoda I.
The Dark Side Waits Not To Be Prepared, Early Morning Session With Yoda And Nubs.
Characters; Nubs age 8. Yoda age (?)
Early morning as Nubs slept, Yoda got on his way, was about five thirty in the morning. Nubs had no idea that Yoda was coming, which would work good for Yoda, as he would wake Nubs.
Yoda worked his way fast to Nubs’s section on the planet Tenoo as it was more like a boarding house. It was made and built for Jedi’s like Nubs, Nubs’s space had more than one room though.
The boarding house was more like a castle for young Jedi trainers, as he made his was to Nubs’s room. It was just about or past five thirty in the morning, as Yoda knocked on his door loud.
Nubs continued to sleep at first as Yoda knocked again, as Nubs now opened his eyes as he began to wake. Yoda knocked again as groggy Nubs managed to move his feet and legs toward the floor.
He finally spoke out to ask who it was, as he stood up on his feet, as Yoda said nothing, but then knocked on his door again.
“Wait a minute, I am coming, it is early who it it, what do you want?” said Nubs in Poobian.
Yoda said nothing as Nubs finally opened his sliding door, to look who it was, without words, and Yoda made sure that Nubs saw him, as he quickly grabbed his lightsaber then turned it on.
Nubs sensed things just on time, as he grabbed his lightsaber, then blocked Yoda’s attack.
“Why so early Master Yoda?” asked Nubs in Poobian.
Nubs rubbed his eyes with one paw, as Yoda moved and stepped back slightly, then threw his lightsaber toward Nubs again, as Nubs had to block a second attack, then end up in only pajamas into the main hallway, keyless entry would allow Nubs to get back in.
“Come on Master Yoda, I am not even awake yet.” said Nubs in Poobian.
“The dark side waits not… for one to be ready. Ready you must be, any time Nubs.”
Yoda pushed on as he caused Nubs to back up some, then pressed an even harder attack on Nubs, as Nubs nearly fell, almost losing his balance.
“Come on Master Yoda, I am not ready.” said Nubs in Poobian.
“The Dark Side Waits Not… ready you must be, At any time you must be ready Nubs.”
“But it is so early Yoda, I need more rest, it is early Master Yoda.”
Yoda pressed Nubs back some more, pressed him to block another advance from him, as Nubs nearly lost his footing again.
“Ready you must be Nubs, early it may be, ready for an attack, you must still be.” said Yoda.
“But it is early Master Yoda, can I please rest?” asked Nubs in Poobian.
“Awake you may not be, The dark side waits not for you to be READY!” Yoda half screamed, slammed his saber toward Nubs’s head, as Nubs blocked it, then fell on his poor butt. Nubs sat then began to cry, as he rubbed his eyes with both his paws.
Nubs was holding his lightsaber, just barely not hurting himself with his lightsaber. He turned it off as Yoda turned off his lightsaber too, then knelt on the floor near the outside door.
Nubs had lost his footing, and the reason he ended up on his butt, as he continued to cry and sob not feeling very good about things.
“I failed you Master Yoda, I cannot do this, I cannot be a Jedi.
“Nubs… you have not failed, a Jedi you will someday be. Eight-years-old you are, you did well Nubs for the age you are.” said Yoda.
“But Yoda, I cannot even beat you, I cannot do this.” said Nubs, in Poobian.
Yoda got closer to Nubs, sat beside him, then rubbed his poor back, as he continued to cry.
“An eight-year-old you are Nubs, did well you have.” said Yoda.
“I did well master Yoda?” asked Nubs in Poobian.
“Nubs, did well you have, some rest you deserved, did well you have.” said Yoda.
“Does this mean I can take a rest?”
“Rest up some you may, did well you did Nubs. To your hammock you may go… rest some Nubs, you did well.” said Yoda.
“Thank you Yoda, thanks.” said Nubs in Poobian.
