's characters from a particular comic of his I read a few weeks ago and was inspired and moved to tears by, with much gracious help from my good friend
To start of, Tacki had posted a picture of his character Zyn https://inkbunny.net/s/3662847 which I found quite fascinated by and learned that they (Zyn is Non-Binary) was a part of a side comic to his main comic series Children of Maeria that focused on Zyn and their growing up in the world of his comic and starting a family and left me feeling many emotions that I felt so inspired to draw Tacki's main character and their family. First we have Zyn, the main character who is a wolverine that loves to invent and build synths for those who dont have anyone to care for them in their world, next is Zyn's loving partner Leika who is a ermine that loves all things seamstress, next are their three cubs they adopted named Valaria (Val) who is a female beaver who follows in Zyn's footsteps, Vabe a young bear cub boy who loves construction, and Vasha the lovely squirrel gal who took up her moms interest of sewing and such. If you are interested in reading the comic itself, I urge you to check it out here. https://inkbunny.net/s/3164818
So, I took it upon myself to draw the characters by finding every image of them from the comics (and some art by Tacki of Zyn and Vabe) as referece so I could get them to look right in my style and ink the drawings and I think I did a pretty good job at that. But then my great friend
did the rest with his great digital art skills to draw them in his program and color them accoring to the ref images I gave him and did a fantastic job at it that I could never have pulled off without his talents, so I greatly thank him as he deserves as much credit to this project. As well as putting them all together in the group image. So thank you very much Poohchan, I deeply appreciate the help.
Not only have I included the pics of them together and solo, we also have them on transparent backgrounds, and my inked drawings I sketched so you get an idea of what Poohchan did with my drawings. In the end we give you this gracious fan tribute to a great comic that Tacki had did and inspired me in such a way and I hope he does enjoy these. I put my heart and soul into them along with my friend too.
They're actually more then that. They are a family that Zyn and Leika adopt. You gotta check out Tacki's comic of these characters, particularly of Zyn.

And disposables 😍 Given the sort of fantasy element I think it’s interesting that they didn’t go cloth. Not that I’m complaining lol, I’ve always preferred disposables as more aesthetically pleasing.

It's really cool seeing you two collab on a whole pic of the Romper Family. I'm glad the story resonated with you so much that it got the creative juices in your own head flowing. Thanks for sharing this!

No problem Tacki, your story was so interesting, emotional, cute, and very thought provoking. and each of your characters looked so cute that I just had to do this to show my love for it and your characters, as well as your cute works.
I used the panels as refs for your characters since you haven't drawn all of them in separate posts to get the looks just right. Some having less then others (Vabe and Vasha, though adorable self pic of Vabe was great) but I think I drew them very well.
and I greatly thank Pooh-Chan for helping to get those colors all done right thanks to all the refs I pulled from your panels that I dont think I would've had the right colored pencils for the job.
But all in all, I am very glad that you did like them in the end and am quite proud for what I and Pooh were able to accomplish for this, and perhaps in the future I may draw those cuties again. I'd also like to know what you liked about our pics if you'd like to share. Thanks again.

I'd say you captured their features pretty well. I also thought it was a neat idea to draw them with their tools of choice. It shows you guys understood what they enjoyed doing most, besides hanging out with each other of course.

Yep, was keeping that in mind in terms of their poses and personalities since it certainly does add to their character. Now of course Vasha doesn't have a tool with her since I figured "Keila has a sewing needle so it might be a bit redundant to depict it again" but I hope Vashas pose at least made up for it since looking at her she seems like that kind of character for what little I could get from her panels in the comic.
Also, while I used the older designs of Zyn in the picture, I took the design of their glove from your recent pic cause I thought it looked cool, is it the same glove?

I just wanted to toy around with a different design. It might be the same glove, just modified over time for various reasons. I'm not entirely sure where the recent pic with Zyn takes place. Possibly earlier in their life with Leika before the kid's showed up. Definitely after they got out of the Guard.
