Zyn: Child of Maeria Cover
Zyn is a little 24 page side comic of mine designed to give a brief overview of what life is like for a Maerian. In it, we take a look at one example of a possible Maerian family, how one can “succeed” in Maeria (get an education, own a home, become super duper best friends with someone else, start a family).
Please note: Although Maerians are technically adults at the same age as us hoomans, they do not reproduce biologically nor even know anything about that process. Families are constructed from mutual consent and adoption of “crechelings” (Maerians who are actual babies). Aside from some violence in the comic and some heavy themes, don’t expect anything too nsfw. I’m not sure if my writing and art combined will hit in the way I want it to, be too cringey for human consumption, or be somewhere in between but here are some content warnings anyway.

Visual Description:
Zyn: Child of Maeria (Title, purple letters with yellow highlights in a sort of technological font. “Child of Maeria” is written in a light gold comic sans-esque font.)
Zyn Romper is a purple haired brian and black furred wolverine. They have long eyelashes but are nonbinary. They have shiny brownish gold eyes. They have fur that resembles a black mask all on the front of their face. Their purple hair is styled in a pompador and the back of it sweeps out to either side by their cheeks. Their body fur is mostly brown with black fur on their forearms and shins. Their tail is covered in long, straight black fur, almost like a horse’s tail. They are wearing a green sleeveless tunic with silver metallic shoulder pads. They have a red sash around their waist. They are wearing a black padded glove on their right hand with silver and gold tools on the end of their fingers, and a silver rimmed gray leather bracer. They are clad in a white disposable diaper with blue landing zone and light blue leg gathers and sides. They are lying on the grass staring up at the sky with a happy and calm smile on their face.
Shadows of clouds drift across the page on the grass. A light purple backpack with a golden book and diapers and powder is to the right of Zyn with the top flap open. A gold rimmed padd with a green screen depicting the schematics of a caretaker synth is lying close to Zyn’s gloved hand. White dandelions are growing out of the grass on either side of Zyn. In the top right of the cover, a gray fabric rug is rolled out. It has the disassembled pieces of a crystal power core (probably for a caretaker synth that Zyn is planning to construct.). A leafy bush with purple and orange flowers is growing by Zyn’s foot paws.
Black text with a white outline is at the bottom of the cover. It says: BY TACKI KAWABATA. The top of the cover fades out to white.
