The existence of this Pokemon has been recorded, yet none have seen a Bisharp evolve into one. Even now, the exact mechanism is unknown, as the Pokemon's Trainer was unconscious during its evolution. It is unclear why Rookanon is a Fairy type unlike its previous evolution or counterpart, but research suggests it comes from a 'change of heart' in the Pokemon, becoming almost divine in protective capabilities. The palanquin on its back is one-way, allowing the Trainer to see outside while being completely enclosed and protected without windows, as well as allow Rookanon to receive directions. The current Rookanon confirmed to evolve from Bisharp is one by the name of Obsidian, with his Trainer having ties to Rika of Paldea's Elite Four. |
