I drew Husky and my irl car, lol!

This was the hardest thing I've done in a while! I have total respect for furry artists that draw cars. Although I am kind of proud with how it turned out, I still cannot figure out how you do reflections and shading on a shiny piece of metal. And this is the reason why I left it flat XD

I wonder; if Husky can pilot a super sophisticated, high-tech, sci-fi spaceship, could he instinctively operate an ancient transport vessel like a car?

Anyway, a fun little exercise. Back to the comic.

Funny story: I bought this car back in November. Prior to that my only experience with a manual was when I learned to drive 22 years ago. And my time with that car was about 15 minutes.

Aside from that, it's only been in simulators like BeamNG. I took me a good week or two to get used to it. A few more months to get it smooth.

So yeah. I was screaming like Husky the first time I drove it home XD

Gotta love that joystick! I paid way too much for a 2013 Fusion because it's one of the rare manual models, I wasn't going to, but I figured it would be one of my last chances to own one.

You did a great job on the car, you softened the lines and accentuated the rear deck raise enough that I think I like your rendition better than I like the actual thing XD

Wow! I didn't even know they made a manual Fusion! Hold on to it. A manual sedan is something we'll never experience again, I'm afraid.

My model was only made in 2013-14, and depending on source, was either 5% of the entire production run, or 7% of the SE models only. Sedans are dying in the US, at least, in favor of SUV/crossovers, so yeah, I definitely have the last of the breed. Probably not the best thing to be beating it to death delivering pizza, but here in the rust belt, you may as well drive them to death before they rot out from underneath you
