It had been a few days scene the attack by the inquisitors but thankfully Bedivere assured me that Morgan wouldn't dare go after my mother she only had her sights set on me and my brother
On bored The Canterbury the lights of slip space streaked past the canopy as I stepped into the cockpit a food tray in hand seeing Chloe sitting in the copilots seat ``hay Chloe dinner'' I say handing her a bowl of veggie rice along with a plate of croquettes stuffed with fish ``thanks Belle so.....were almost to Avalon'' she says and I nod ``yeah were very close once were there we need to head to Avalon city and meet up with a contact who will help us find a place called 210 Downing street a town house owned by doctor Watson that's ware we can find a data core for Jarvis and Friday so the two them can lead us to whatever it is that Bedivere thinks will help us find allies ``I say as Chloe lays a hand on my shoulder ``I know he didn't give us much in the way of clues but we just have to trust him'' she says as we dig into our food
After our meal swiveling the nave computer to get a better view I pushed the intercom button ``um all hands we will be dropping out of slip space in three minutes so um....get to your seats to get a good view'' I say a deep blush on my cheeks ``oh man that was so lame how the hell does Bedivere expect me to be some kind of leader let alone a prince'' I say head in my hands as I feel a pair of paw's on my cheek's moving my hands away I saw Nari looking at me ``I believe in you Belle'' she says ``yeah we all do Naru says ``yeah thire right they believe in you Belle and so do we'' came Goh's voice as I looked back at him and smiled ``thanks Goh'' I say
After a bit of time we landed at the Avalon Sky Port parking The Canterbury in our slip as we came out the dock master came up to us a cute bunny girl as well an attendant a cute fox girl ``okay you cuties are all set we will keep your ship safe and sound till your ready to leave'' the bunny girl smiles as the fox girl winks at us ``don't get into too much fun you four'' she says
As we made our way into the city tall sky scrapers jutted into the cloudy sky some so tall they disappeared into the clouds the buildings had a mix of steel or rock work making them look old but inside was high-tech as we walked we saw a dinner that looked good ``welcome to The Drake y'all together?'' came the voice of a cute blond haired elf girl freckles adorned her face around her noes and just under her violet eyes
As Melody led us to a booth in the back some of the other customers were whispering and pointing at my Fey-Kin some of the young kids admired my Fe-Kin some walking up wanting to take pictures with them some getting nuzzles and hugs from the others Aykea was in heaven she loved kids she had told me she wanted a big family with little ones running about ``my my looks like y'all got a crowd around your Fey-Kin who's there trainer?'' Melody asked as I smile ``that would be me'' I say as she giggles ``well I have to say you're a lucky guy to have such nice Fey-Kin you don't see that many trainers in the city most of them are in the city of Theed
As we eat our lunch I looked up the city of Theed the place was amazing located on the green highlands the place was a big resort town catering to Fey-Kin trainers and Fey-Kin coordinator even innovators too as we left Melody game our Fe-Kin some cute little badges with the dinners emblem on it as we started to look for a place to stay for the night as we turned a corner we all saw what append to be a figure standing about five foot three inch's as far as I can tell at about nine paces in front of us its hair was black with lavender and pink streaks in it done up in a cork screw style four large silver ring's were woven into the hair at the ends it even had a very long braid draped over one shoulder and this braid had six gold rings evenly spaced out with the last ring being at the end
The figure pointed at me as an Alolan Rattata appeared on his shoulder a pink paw mark on its tummy then a shiny Zorua appeared on the other shoulder but this shiny's blue coloring was darker than normal ``good evening travelers from beyond our stars'' the Rattata says in a cultured voice as the shiny Zorua smiles ``pleas follow us mistress Angela would like to speak with you four'' he says with a sly grin on his muzzle as we got closer we saw that the figure was wareing a black and red kitsune mask covering there face before turning leading us the way ``mistress will be happy to see you'' I hear the figure say in a low voice
As we walked I saw something wiggling under the oversized lavender jacket as it reached the coaler of the jacket a very pretty Zorua head pops out looking around the fur on the body looked to be a light blue almost pink or lavender with darker purple lines and patterns the forelegs and hind legs had extra fur towards the paws the tail was about the same save for a fur pattern that looked like the spade tail of a demon or succubus but the most streaking part of the Zorua was a pair of dark purple/pink horns the Zorua looked around before turning to us with a surprised look on its face cheeks growing red before diving back under the jackets coaler
After a bit more walking we came to a run of the mill alley way the figure in front of us looks back and points down the alley way and waves for us to fellow as we moved down the alley the Alolan Rattata again appeared on the figures shoulder and address's us ``okay you lot your about to meet the greatness's that is mistress Angela one of the most powerful mages the most beautiful women you will ever meet'' he says before with a flourish as the alley opens up to be as wide as a big city side walk planters doted about filled with colorful flowers tall decorative street lamps set up in long rows providing light all the way up to a beautiful three story townhouse in the brown stone style mix with Victorian style along with a light jade colored roof but the most streaking thing about this town house with a skylight facing out to the alley way that had twin silver crescent moons
After climbing the steps to reach the front door as the figure reached for a rope and gave it a hard pull as the sound of a gong or bell rang out inside the house a moment later the door opened to revile two figures both dressed in a white and blue nun's robes they both had long hoods drawn with white mask like cloth covering their faces they looked to be about the same size as out guide ``welcome please follow us'' they say as one as our guide let's out a little giggle as our two new guide's also let out giggle's before ushering us in
As the three figures led us into the town house the place felt bigger then it looked on the outside hall ways felt like we had walked double to maybe triple the size of the home as we walked we head the sounds of a sparing match ahead of us beyond a tall door way as the twins moved to open the door we were greeted by the site of a large indoor gymnasium workout equipment of all types were scattered about the room a long running track cycled the room in the middle was a fighting ring the cycle was lined with plush mats to lessen the impact of a fall the two figures standing in the fighting cycle were panting hard one was a red haired human looking woman dressed in a form fitting work out suit the other was a tall black haired fennec fox woman in her own form fitting gym work out suit in orange
As we looked on one of the twin figures called out ``mistress there here'' they called out as the red haired woman turns to us and calls out ``good bring them over'' she called out moments later we stood in front of the ring the two combatant's looked at us as the red haired lady spoke ``well well so this are the ones that Bedivere told me about'' she says looking around at each of us tell she stopped at me ``so taking a wild shot here but your Belle right?'' she says and I nod ``yes that's me'' I say nerves on edge as she smiles ``I had a feeling it was you'' she says a bit of sadness in her eyes ``you have your dads eyes always looking forward seeing the worlds as places to explore seeing people as friends'' she says before ushering me to join her in the ring ``come Belle enter the ring let me get better look at you'' she says as Chloe looked shocked as I climbed in ``Angela be gentle with him'' the fennec fox lady says as Angela looks at her ``I was going to say the same thing too you Fen'' she says as Fen looks at me and shrugs
My view of Fen was blocked as Angela stood up ``okay here we go and.......boop'' she says tapping me on the nose as my clothing diapered and were replaced with a blue and silver work out suit as my clothing reaped in Angela's hands neatly folded ``okay now Belle I would like you to spare with my friend Fen here weapon of your chose'' she says as I look at Fen who is smiling `` come on kid what weapon do you want?'' seeing that smile somehow i felt myself smile as well something deep inside was stirring ``short swords'' I say as Fen's smile grow wider
As Angela nods ``okay very well short swords it is bring out your weapons'' she says as I summon up my Engine Blade as Fen looked shocked ``WOW Armiger summoning now I was not expecting to see that.....Belle was it?'' she says and I nod ``yeah that's me'' I say as Fen nods ``okay my turn'' she says and moves her right hand as a black and gray short sword appears in her hand I was surprised ``WOW Shadow Steel that's really cool'' I say as Fen nods ``way thank you I think its really fun I can do so much more'' she says
Later that night after Fen and I's sparring match I found my self in a large ornate bathroom marble inlayed with onyx black stone the fixtures were all made out of some kind of silver blue metal in the middle of the room was a sunken bathing tube on the wall to the right of the tub were about six washing stalls
After cleaning up I sank into the bathing pool the warm water felt amazing leaning back in the hanging seat I just relaxed ``mind um......mind if we join you?'' came a small voice to my right turning I saw the boy who been our guide I even found out his name was Kiri I even saw his Fey-Kin Yuki The Zorua the little dark fox leaps out of Kiri's arms leaving Kiri blushing the boys face was red as he tried to hide behind his long black lavender and pink hair with a cute silver ring in each of them at the end
After a bit of talking ware I found out some stuff about Kiri first off Kiri was trans so I made a mantel not to use female wording around her but I found that she loved Fey-Kin as much as I did Yuki was his maine Fey-Kin she and her were very close the two had a very tight bound as we talked my Sylveon kitsune Ayeka came bounding in at full tilt before jumping into the soaking pool splashing both Kiri and I as a.....is that a dragon? I think to myself as a pink and white dragon came padding in looking like it was on the hunt ``mistress Kiri did you happen to see a little pink Sylveon colored kitsune fox in here?'' she says in a calm voice as Kiri looks behind me too see Ayeka hiding behind me ``and way are you looking for them Phoebe?'' she says and Phoebe nods ``just making sure that she behaves herself it's not wise to trust a kitsune mistress there tricksters and are likely to rob you blind'' she say as Ayeka bursts out from behind ``hay I'm no thief or a trickster I'm a good girl think you very much'' she says and stairs at Phoebe who stairs right back
To my surprise Kiri steps between the two ``not now you two we have visitors Phoebe be a good host okay?'' she says as Phoebe nods ``yes mistress'' she says before tossing a long lock of white and pink hair over one side of her curved brown and blue horns
The next day Angela had us meet her in the main dining room the long round table was set for all of us at the head of the table was Angela in a blue bath robe a pot of tea next to her as we all took our seats as a few kobolds came out of a side door carts in hand loaded with food and plants but as they got closer I say that some were not kobolds I saw a few Unigen among them as well a cute pair of Unigen both pink wearing some kind of blue strap like outfit it was easy to tell that both were male ``tea or coffee sir?'' the shorter one asked ``try coffee Belle its really good'' Kiri says to my right and I look to the Unigen boys ``sure I will take a coffee `` I say as the taller boy nodded and picked up a pot and a very ornate cup as he pored the steaming brew the scent was very relaxing and calming as the shorter Unigen placed plats in front of me the coffee was set as well as the food
As we eat Angela spoke ``okay once were done eating we can retire to my seeing room then we can discuss our planes'' she says as we all eat our fill Nari and Naru eat on my lap I heard Kiri giggling from my right and look over at her ``what's so funny Kiri?'' I ask as she giggles more as Yuki pops her head out ``that's because you look cute with your two friends on your lap Belle'' she says after some time we all left to Angela's seeing room
The seeing room was a large rounded room dimly lit with old styled gas lamps giving off a misty blue glow to the space long blue curtens hung from top of the room all the way to the floor in the center of the room was a round table four chairs sat on one end on the other was a pile of pillows and cushions set into a cutout almost giving the table the look of a crescent moon ``welcome to my inner sanctum'' she says before addressing us ``in this room no magic's can get in or out so no one can eves drop on us using magic or magic technology'' she says and takes her seat and motions for us to take our seats as Angela takes out an ornate deck of card and shuffles them before dealing us each five cards as small glowing cube like dice appear next to us
After a time and a few hands alter ``and four of a kind'' Ash says as he reaches out for the glowing dice cube's Goh stops him ``not so fast Ash that is a good hand but I think my full house beats it'' Goh says slapping down his cards and takes the cube's as Angela claps her hands ``very good Goh very good indeed''
she says looking to Ash ``I'm surprised Ash yu have been studying everyones for msyt of the games yet you missed Goh's bluff'' then she looks to Goh ``now Goh you seem to play by your heart and a very good helping of luck that will serve you well'' she says then looks to Chloe ``now you Chloe not sure how to pen it down but there's more to you and I think it's something you will need later on'' she says before looking to me ``now for you belle you have the power of a leader you just need to find it to believe in it I know its in you now this will be our last hand all in at start you can exchange cards only three times''
Angela says and deals as we push the glowing cube's in to the pot as we got our cards I looked at them my heart almost skipped a beat I almost had a royal flush I was only short an ace of spades to complete it I saw Chloe look at me a sly look on her face flowed by a wink ``now one last rule for this final hand I will now deal the replacement cards you each will deal one card to each other but yourself to be a good team you must trust each other `` she says ``now lets start with Belle'' she says sliding the deck to me as Ash Goh and Chloe each want a card dealing them there cards I then passed the deck to Goh I asked for a card got the wrong one an ace of hearts and so I waited as Ash and Chloe both got a card then it was Ash's turn with the deck and I tried again and wrong card a king of diamonds I only had one last chance as Chloe got the deck she turned to me with a sweet smile ``care for a card Belle?'' she asked as my cheeks grow warm and I nod ``s..sure thank you Chloe'' I say as Angela giggles as the card is slide to me
Later that day as the high of the card game died down Angela smiled ``that was very well played Belle'' Angela says as walk our way out of her town house and over to a door to the right side wall as we enterd we heard the sound of others talking ``um....Angela I think were in someone's home'' I say as she looks back ``oh don't worry Belle just a little spell I used to make it sound like this places is lived in'' she says as we go to enter one more door and find our self's in a underground parking lot with only one car a sleek looking black and silver Oudi R8 Star Light sat under a bank of light's ``WOW is that what I think it is?'' Goh says from beside me I was just thing the same as him as Angela nods ``yes Goh that it is'' she says as she holds a key fob pushing a button and the doors open ``Belle sit upfront with me the rest in the back''
A bit later we drove down the wide main road of the city ``now I know you lot are looking for the home of Doctor Watson thankfully I do know the home that he and Doctor Homes once used as a home base for their research but.....i'm not sure if we will be able to get in it kind of depends on if you lot meet with her approval and if she's awake right now'' I looked at Angela at the last things she said ``what do you'' I was cut off ``just wait till you see it young Belle'' with those words we kept going till we found ourselves at a two story town house as Angela parked we all piled out as Angela led us up the short steps to the main door as she fished out a key from a back pocket
After we got inside the town house I felt the flow of magic the flow of mana was strong in this place but beside's the flow of mana the town house was full of books and other arcano Tec device's as I looked around I felt an odd pull to a very old looking par of grandfather clock's but what was odd that set between the two was a small grandchild clock the small clock looked so out of place being next to the two larger clocks as I looked I felt Angela walk up next to me ``I had a feeling this would draw you over quit odd isn't it?'' she says as I nod ``yeah it is'' I say looking the clocks over the soft tick tock of the clocks
After a few moments of looking Angela hands me something a light blue tall square like device at the top half of the device was a blank screen towards the bottom was a key pad along with a rounded selector nub next was a long silver cord attached to a long rectangle device on the bottom was a black wrapping for grip at the top were two white prongs for plugging into something just under those was a blank screen like on the bigger device and just under that was the same selector nub
I look at the device then back at Angela then at the device ``what is this Angele?'' I say as she smiles at me ``that my boy is an Arcano Data Diver it can help you analyses or hack any arcano device `` she says as she moves to the grandchild clock and starts moving the minute hand and the hour hand first going from 2 to 9:29 then to 12:17 and finally to 6:55 with a click then she opened the two grandfather clocks and pulled the left pendulum weight half way down then pulled the right one all the way down before going to the left grandfather clock and pulled down both pendulum weight's as two clicks sounded before the wall to our right started to pull back and up
As we approached the opening we saw an open elevator as we got closer we saw that the elevator car was round like a cylinder on one side was a rounded handle set into one wall as Angela walks in and stands by the handle ``well come on everyone pile in'' she says as we all get in as the car started to move down Angela looked at us ``now just to let you all know your going to see something that has not been see in a very long time not cense the great war if she deems that Belle is the right one'' she says I was about to ask her who she was talking about when the elevator stopped
As the elevators doors opened we were greeted by the site of a rounded hall way done in light wood paneling and chrome the lighting was low almost to the point of going out all together turning to Angela I saw a look of coinsure on her face ``somethings wrong last time I was here the lights were brighter and there were other `s walking around'' she says nd goes over to a gray box on the wall and picked up a receiver holding it up to her ear then shaking her head ``come lines are out come one lets see if we can find her'' she says as we started making our way down the hall way
After a bit of walking we came to an arched door way with a flickering neon sign that proclaimed ``Star Light Atrium'' a standing sign next to it had a list of amenity's like a places called ``The Super Nova Club `` a places called ``The Star Shower Cafe'' even some place named ``the Polaris Bar and Grill'' along with other places as we enterd the Atrium we found our self's in a cavernous room at lest it felt cavernous the lights were all but out in this room save for a pool of light cast down from a single high round window looking like the eye of some Fey-Kin god looking down on a world of darkness ``oh thank the gods looks like she's up come on guys'' Angela says as we head for a dimly lit set of stair's
After a short climb up the stair's we found our self's at a rounded door way covered in light wood and deep gray chrome next to the door was a call box like the one we found outside the elevator we were in luck this one had a green blinking light on top ``good looks like this one's working'' Angela says before going over to it and picking up the receiver ``yes.....yeah its me.....yeah most of the lights ae out...oh...okay open up maybe we can help'' she says as the door opens and a very cute goat girl steps out her long white hair done up in a long braid that almost reached her feet she wore a dark blue top and matching pants a pair of light blue eyes sat behind a pair of pink rimmed glasses that looked surprised to see us ``oh my lady Angela I didn't know you had so many guests pleas come in'' she says and moves aside
After we all got inside she scrambled around pulling out a tea pot and placing it on a portable stove top and flipping it on before filling it with water ``okay that will do'' she says before turning to us ``my names Rally I'm te head overseer for this....well what's left of this place'' she says before Angela comes over ``Rally here will be a great asset to us and a good friend'' she says after a bit of waiting the tea was ready and we sat down to enjoy it as we enjoyed the tea Angela talked with Rally the two talking low a few times I saw Rally put a hand to her mouth and I saw a few glances come my way as well
After the refreshments wee gone Rally stood up and came over to me ``my dear Belle Angela has told me a lot about you and you made it this far and I have to say you are a very brave lade'' she says reaching into a pocket and pulled out an ornate red velvet box and places it in front of me I look at the box then up at Rally ``is this?'' I say and she nods ``yes only if you are willing what's in that box will test you Belle to make sure that you have resolve to take on the responsibility of inheriting this place as well as the Twilight'' she says and holds up a hand knowing full well I was about ask her what she meant
With a beckoning hand I reached for the box and opened the lid inside the box sitting a velvet pillow was a beautiful blue and gold pocket watch the main body was like a tear drop the watch face was under clear glass with numbers clear as day the hands were not moving but despite that I still heard a ticking sound scooping up the watch it felt very light in my hand looking more closely at the watch I saw that a pair a sliver wings sat at the top of the watch just under the winder and the ring that held the blue and gold chain as I held the watch I started to hear a voice ``Crowns......Stars.......the throne of walls awaits may the sea of stars guide your way'' the voice says and goes silent blinking my eyes I saw the watch hands had started moving like normal ``looks like the watch approves of you Belle welcome to Starlight Station''
