Tsihal is known as the “Bonebreaker” within the Hollow Canyon Tribe — not because of violence toward others, but because of his sacred craft: reclaiming metal from the skeletal remains of Steel-type Pokémon. While the Bone Eater Tribe smelt and forge using ore, the Hollow Canyon Tribe treats metal as something to be extracted — a relic, not a resource.

Background/History

Note: It’s Tsihal’s job to harvest that relic with precision. Using a hammer forged from a Steelix vertebrae — a weapon as much as a tool — he cracks through the remains of fallen Steel-types without shattering the bones. Every blow is calculated, patient, and perfect. That’s why Tukana trusts him. She won't work with just anyone, but with Tsihal, she knows the bones will sing true when shaped into a blade.

Note: Tsihal doesn’t speak often. He communicates through rhythm: the clang of metal, the way he strikes his hammer three times before a final break. Yet behind that silence is an engineer’s mind and a philosopher’s soul. He believes every Steel-type that falls gives a second gift — their bones becoming blades, armor, even sacred tools for future battles. He treats the work as ritual, sometimes even offering thanks to the carcass before the first strike.

Note: Despite his rough exterior, Tsihal has a deep respect for life — and a quiet loyalty to Tukana, whom he’s protected more than once without their knowledge.
