She shapes them with care, tests them with precision, and dances with them like old lovers. Every slash is a sentence, every stab a whispered truth. The kiss of steel through flesh doesn’t repulse her — it thrills her, sending shivers down her spine as artistry meets anatomy. For Tukana, a well-balanced blade isn't just a tool… it’s poetry written in red.

Background/History

Note: She sharpens blades at dawn and speaks to them before dusk. She has buried blades in the bellies of wild beasts, rival warriors, and once — in a quiet act of justice — into the throat of a former member of the tribe, a betrayer of the old codes. That particular dagger she later melted down, calling it “Forgiveness.”

Note: Though she rarely talks much, Akuna is one of the few Tukana will train personally. She watches from shadows, rarely corrects with words, but instead gives a look or slight nudge that somehow says “you’re holding it wrong.”

Note: Tukana’s fighting style is almost hypnotic—a slow, floating approach that explodes into flurries of precision slashes. In battle, she rarely shows rage, but sometimes… sometimes when the blade meets resistance, she smiles.

Note: Her tent is always neat. Her blades always aligned. Her mind, not so much. There’s something coiled behind her quiet stare—something you don’t notice until the blade is already in motion.

Note: Tukana’s oldest weapon, "Doolé", was forged the same night her old teacher died. Her left hand is covered in faint scar tissue from the time she attempted to forge a blade from Magnemite, the resulting explosion of stored energy taught her an important lesson.
