I knew that hat looked familiar! This ending was surprisingly happy given he was assassinated, and it seems both Roger and Nivaria remembered that not all people are scumbags.
And even that cockroach or whatever it is looks on in awe!
Wait, is that a piece of Nivaria's arm or tentacle on a meathook?!

They're a bit of a homage to my favorite Spanish comic artist, who frequently adds little creatures to his panels when there is too much empty space. Mine will have their own story soon.

Huh. I could have sworn Aragones did this as well. I seem to remember little bugs and such jumping out of the way in Groo the Wanderer. They are both Spanish comic artists born within two years of each other, so they may have shared some influences. Or I'm just wrong. Always a possibility.

I see the classic "Like father, like son" moment with the so n helping him walk I also love the reference to One Piece with Luffy being a monkey XD And it took me a moment but I just noticed Majima

Dangit, all the little details I noticed, someone else noticed and commented on already. XD At least I can contribute to the pile of comments adoring your comic. =^_^=

Well if there are more details I can't find them or understand the reference to to get them. But I did see the lady in the bottom corner has an interesting necklace.

Roger's gone completely white-furred in his advancing years, I see. I'd wondered if it might've been a relative telling the tale, but now I see he's getting the full benefits of his bargain with Nivaria in the long run. Their children are well spread across the possible permutations of their combined biologies. Eldest son: a shortened version of Mom's head tentacles with Dad's unrestricted charisma versus the ladies. Eldest daughter: Fur patterning of the father, Mom's general coloration and massively elongated hands (and maybe a bit of Dad's eye for the opposite sex.) Younger daughter: Dad's original fur color and general forearm design matched to Mom's cranial formation and her octopus ocular orbs. Youngest child : probably male, definitely closest in physiology to Dad with what is visible.
And that's a pretty good number of years represented for the couple with the range of ages as well, though when you factor in Nivaria's Eldritch background it's even harder to put actual numbers to things. Long enough for Roger to have gotten his partner more accommodating to interacting with mortals at the very least.
🤔 It occurs to me that his heritage sort of explains Rayco's "monster" form when he's in combat mode, if this is part of his family lineage.

I liked that Roger kept the hat after all these years. I also like the different designs from Roger's and Nivaria's offsprings (especially the chap with the green vest).
Anyway, it was a nice read. Good work! :)
