"A bubbly birthday party"

Having been told about a cool cave by Cirrus, Emilio was accompanied by the dragon as he went in to explore, and soon came across an interesting sight: His friends Blubby and Squirt were waiting for him, and a cake was sitting in a bubble made by Blubby, complete with candles! It was a surprise birthday party! With an air pocket above, and Blubby still doing fine on breath, they were all going to have fun together!

Made for squirtlerocks07's birthday! Squirt and Emilio belong to him.

squirtlerocks07 and I did an RP based on this.

S: It's a new day, and for most people this would be any ordinary day, but not for me! Today was my birthday, and I couldn't be more excited for the things that could be potentially happening! I had just woken up at home, yawning, and my tail was wagging happily as I realized that today was my special day

L: There's a knock at your door, and you can hear Cirrus on the other side! "Hey, Emilio! You awake? There's something cool I want to tell you about!"

S: "Oh? Is that Cirrus I hear? Wonder what he wants, I'm coming bud!" I go downstairs to my front door and open it, seeing cirrus as I smile at him
"Hey Cirrus! Good to see you!"

L: Cirrus smiles back, floating in front of you at 10% size. "I would have just called you, but you know how I am with phones. Anyway, there's this neat underwater cave near here, and we should check it out later today!"

S: "Oh? Well, not really a big fan of caves, I've only ever gone in once with my treecko buddy... but considering today is my birthday, maybe I'll consider going in this one!"

L: "Trust me, it'll be worth the trip, there's something really cool in there! Not gonna say what it is just yet though, you'll have to see it for yourself. I'll come by to pick you up in a couple hours, okay?"

S: "Alright then... hopefully I'll be worth it, see you then"

I close the door and start preparing myself for this cave dive, I put on my swim shorts and grab a pair of goggles off my nightstand, putting them over my forehead, and now...I wait patiently for cirrus to return to come and pick me up

L: The time comes, and Cirrus returns, now at his full size as he lays down on the ground so you can get on him. "Alright, ready to get going?"

S: I come outside and find cirrus waiting for me
"Yep, I think so...I'm all ready to swim! I'm a little nervous tho... I always get jitters when I'm gonna be underwater" I then get on Cirrus' body, waiting for him to get going

L: Cirrus floats up into the air and starts making his way to a nearby lake. "Don't worry, I'll be with you in there the whole time."

S: "Thanks cirrus, I appreciate it"
a little later, we hover over the lake

L: "Alright, it's right below us at this point. I'll get us to the entrance, then I'll go smaller to follow you in. We don't have to go far to find that cool thing, so don't worry."

S: "Oh jeez... it's time to submerge isn't it? Well I'm gonna stay on you cause otherwise I would hesitate, I'm just gonna do some deep breathing to get ready"
I lower my goggles over my eyes and start to take some deep breaths to prepare

L: Cirrus starts heading down toward the lake. "Yeah, you tend to not go under right away... Just hold onto me for now, alright?"

S: "Ok..." I take a few more deep breaths and then I seem to be good to go
"Alright, let's do this"

L: "Get one last breath!" Cirrus takes and holds a deep breath as he dives toward the water.

S: "Oh boy!" I quickly take in a last deep breath as Cirrus goes underwater, I whine a bit when I was submerged and briefly pinched my nose shut

L: Cirrus quickly gets to the entrance of the cave. After mist briefly surrounds him and he changes to 10% size, he gestures for you to swim into the cave.

S: I was a little bit scared to go into the cave, but I didn't want any fear for my birthday so with confidence I swim into the cave, hoping whatever is in there is actually cool

L: Cirrus follows you inside. Not far in, there's a more open section with a pretty interesting sight: Blubby and Squirt are there, seemingly having been waiting for you, with an air pocket above. In front of Blubby, on what looks like a natural stone pedestal and encased in a bubble from the dragon, is a cake, complete with lit candles!

Blubby smiles and wags his tail as you enter. "Sublrprblise! Hblappbly biblrthblday, Embliliblo!"

S: squirt sits in front of the pedestal with a smile on his face and tail wag of his own

Squirt - "Happbly biblrithday bublddy!!!"

Me - "Whbloa!!!!" I was completely caught off guard by all of this, my tail immediately starting to wag
"Yblou gbluys plblanned thblis for mble?!"

L: Blubby: "Yeblp! Mablde abln aiblr poblckeblt foblr yoblu anbld evbleryblthiblng!"

Cirrus moves ahead to join Blubby and Squirt. "Ibl'm reblallbly glblad iblt wabls sblo eablsy tblo coblnviblnce yoblu tblo coblme hblere!"

S: I tear up a little happily and smile even bigger
Me - "Thblank yblou gbluys!! Thblis is ablwesome!!!" I then go up to the air pocket and surface in it, gasping a bit for air then take a deep breath and come back down, giving blubby a big hug

Squirt - "Yblour weblcome!! Heblehe!"

L: Blubby hugs you back, his tail still wagging, and Cirrus joins in.

Blubby: "Nblo prbloblem! Iblt wabls fubln tblo seblt albl thblis ublp!"

S: squirt also joins in the hug too
"Iblt sublre wblas!"

Me - "Yblou gbluys ablre the beblst! Jblust wblish my treblecko bubldy wabls heblre too..."

L: Cirrus: "Hble sablid hble'd ble bublsy, bublt hblopeblfulbly hble'll ble able tblo coblme bly ablt soblme poblint."

Blubby: "Wble mably abls webll hblave soblme fubln whblile wble wablit thblougblh, riblght?"

S: "Webll, I hblope hebll be ablble to comble oblver... I wblanna spenbld some tiblme togetblher wiblth him foblr my birblthday, but ybleah may abls webll seble whblat yblou gbluys have planblned"

Squirt - "Im sublre he'll sublrpise yblou!"

L: Cirrus: "Ibl thblink sblo toblo. Anblywably, yeblah, webl've deblfinblitebly goblt soblme idbleas!"

S: Me - "Oblk! Hblopefully iblts somblething gblood!"

L: Blubby: "Webl'll ble stblartbling ofblf wiblth Hblide anbld Seblek! Thblis cablve gobles deblepeblr thblan hblere, anbld Ibl alblreabldy seblt ublp moblre aiblr poblckeblts, sblo iblt shbloulbld woblrk prblettbly webll!"

Cirrus: "Dblo yoblu wablnt tblo ble thble seblekeblr fiblrst, Embliliblo?"

S: Me - "Sublre! Soublnds liblke fubln! I liblke hiblde and seblek! It's a clblassic!"

Squirt - "Alrblight!"

L: Blubby: "Okblay, leblt's dblo thblis! Coblunt ublp tblo 30 whblile wble albl gblo hblide!" Blubby starts going deeper into the cave, and Cirrus follows after getting a breath from the air pocket.

S: squirt also follows after getting a breath from the air pocket
"Gblood lublck!"

I then close my eyes and start to count to 30

Me - "1....2....3...4...5..."

L: Blubby and Cirrus both look through the cave for good hiding spots. Blubby finds one easily enough, hiding inside and cover his nostrils so no bubbles give him away.

Wanting to be fair, Cirrus stays at 10% size as he searches for another spot, and manages to find one in time, heading in.

S: squirt meanwhile finds his hiding place as well, pinching his nose shut so no bubbles escape

then I was finished counting

"28...29...30! Rbleady or nblot, heblre I comble!" I then swim deeper into the cave and begin my search

L: Both Blubby and Cirrus keep quiet as you search for them, smiling and listening for your bubbles to try to tell when you're nearby.

S: squirt keeps quiet as well

"Whblere ablre yblou..." I swim slowly about in the cave, looking around for either blubby, Cirrus or squirt

L: Blubby accidentally lets out a little bubbly giggle, before he covers his mouth, hoping you didn't hear him.

S: "Hbluh? Whblat wblas thblat?" I swim over to where the noise was coming from, curious if someone was there

L: Blubby tries his best to get a little bit deeper into his spot, but there isn't much more room, and you're coming right up to it at this point.

S: that's when I spotted Blubby's tail sticking out, I smirk as I approach the spot and touch his tail, peeking in from another angle
"Founbld yblou blubby! Hablaha!"

L: Blubby jumps a little as he's touched. "Ablw, mabln... Anbld Ibl'm prblobably thble fiblrst onble oublt, toblo..." He gets up and leaves his spot.

S: "Yblep, sadbly yblou arble... noblw to fiblnd cirblrus and sqbluirt..." I swim away to continue

meanwhile, Squirt is still hiding in his spot, hoping he won't get found, but his face is turning red and he needs to breathe, but stays put so he doesn't get caught

"Whblere ablre yblou gbluys...."

L: Cirrus is close by enough that he can hear you, and does a good job of staying quiet, even having attempted to hide under some loose rocks as well.

S: eventually, I could hear the faint grunts of Squirt who needs air, and I eventually spot him!
"Gblotcha squiblrt!"

Squirt - "Danblg iblt! Iblf onbly I dibldnt nebled to breablthe I wblould havble stblayed quiblet!" squirt comes out and goes to a nearby air pocket to breathe

Me - "Abll thblats lefblt is cirblrus...I'm goblnna fiblnd hiblm!"

L: Cirrus smiles as he realizes he's doing the best of the group, and stays put. But, one of the rocks falls off him, and he doesn't notice in time to stop it from hitting the floor and making noise. He hopes you don't hear it...

S: "Whblat wblas thblat?!" as I heard the noise I take a look around, as I get closer to cirrus' hiding spot, I seemed to sense where he is, and then I found him!
"Aha! Gblotcha!"

L: Cirrus: "Ablh webll, ablt leblast Ibl dibld prblettbly webll. Leblt's hblead bablck foblr abl brbleatblher." He leaves his spot and starts heading back to the main room.

S: "Rblight!" I swim back to the main room too, and eventually everyone surfaces in the main air pocket
"That was fun!"

L: Blubby is propping himself up on a wall so he can get his head into the air pocket. "Yeah, it really was! Even though I got found first..."

Cirrus: "Ah, I'm sure you'll do better next time."

S: Squirt - "Yeah!"

Me - "Man treecko would love to play hide and seek, especially since it's one of his favorite games to play with me on our spare time"

squirt giggles at that, knowing the surprise that involves my treecko friend but he tries to not make it so audible

L: Cirrus: "Wish he were here, yeah... Anyway, time for the next game!"

S: Squirt - "Why don't we play hide and seek again? And maybe this time Emilio can be the one to hide and we all try and find him!"

Me - "Oooh, 3 against 1 isn't fair, but it's a bet I'm willing to do!"

L: Blubby: "Well, if you're up for Emilio, we can do that!"

Cirrus: "This is neat, I haven't done this kind much before!"

S: "Sounds like a plan to me! Let's do it!"

Squirt - "Ok then! Hehe!" he then whispers to cirrus and blubby
"His buddy should be just about here!"

L: Blubby whispers back "Oh right, yeah! Maybe he'll get here during this!"

Cirrus nods to the two, then looks over at you. "Alright, go find a hiding spot, and we'll get looking for you in 30 seconds."

S: "Good luck my friend!"

Me - "Alright, here we go! You guys are never gonna find me!" with a deep breath, I dive back down underwater, looking for the best hiding spot

Squirt - "I can't wait to see the look on his face when treecko comes!"

L: Blubby: "Yeah, he's gonna be so happy!"

Cirrus: "Oh, we should try to make it so that Treecko is the one that finds him during this! If he comes by in time, at least."

S: "That's an awesome idea! He should be here by now too..."

meanwhile, I find my hiding spot, giggling out bubbles quietly

Me - "Thbley wonblt fiblnd mble hblere!"

L: Cirrus: "Right, it's probably been 30 seconds by now, let's-" Before he can finish, Treecko surfaces into the air pocket with a gasp!

Treecko: "Sorry I'm late, guys!"

Blubby: "You're actually just in time, we're playing Hide and Seek, and we're hoping you'll be the one to find Emilio!"

S: Squirt- "Yeah! He has no idea your here! And that will be the perfect surprise! He's hiding right now"

I wait patiently in my hiding spot, not daring to move an inch

L: Treecko: "Oh, well then I'd better get going quick!" After a deep breath, he dives down to start looking for you, as Blubby and Cirrus follow behind him.

S: I stay quiet while everyone goes to search for me, keeping my tail hidden and my mouth and nose covered so no bubbles escape

L: The search goes on for a while, and no one's found you yet.

Blubby: "Mabln, hble's prblettbly goblod ablt thblis..."

Cirrus: "Hble mublst hblave foblund abl reblallbly goblod spblot..."

Treecko keeps quiet, not wanting to give away that he's there.

S: I don't make another sound as I hear the voices of them getting close by to me, and just hoped nothing screws this whole thing up, but my face is turning red from the lack of air, so I kind of hoped deep down that somebody does find me so I can breathe

L: After a bit longer, Cirrus happens to notice you, but doesn't say anything. After tapping on Treecko and pointing you out to them, they're the one that "discovers" you themselves.

Treecko: "Hbla, foblund yoblu, bublddy!"

S: Me - "Awblw mabln I gblot disblcovered..." I come out of my spot
"I woblnder whblo foublnd mble"
I turn around and notices treecko, my mouth dropping for a moment before i close it
"TREEBLCKO!!!!!!!!" I then immediately hug him tight

L: Treecko happily hugs you back. "Hblappbly biblrthblday, Embliliblo! Soblrry Ibl cobluldbln't ble hblere sobloneblr!"

Blubby: "Wble weblre JUBLST ablout tblo stblart loblokiblng foblr yoblu whblen hble sublrfablced ibln thblat aiblr poblckeblt!"

S: Squirt - "Yeblah! Pblretty gblood tiblming thblat he camble ibln hublh?"

my tail wags super happily as I keep hugging treecko, having completely forgotten about my need to breathe

Me - "I'm jblsut sbloooo hblappy yblour heblre buddbly!!!"

L: Treecko: "Anbld Ibl'm hblappbly tblo ble hblere!" As he looks at you again, he notices your face is red. "Oblh, wble shbloulbld geblt yoblu soblme aiblr!"

Blubby: "Yeblah, wble cabln hblead bablck tblo thble aiblr poblckeblt anbld deblcidble whblat tblo dblo neblxt."

S: Squirt - "Gblood ibldea"

Me - "Ablir? Mmm!" I cover my mouth, having completely forgotten about my need to breathe

L: Blubby: "Hblere, nblo seblnse ibln wablitiblng whblen Ibl cabln hblelp!" He blows out a big bubble for you to breathe.

S: "Thblanks..." I take the bubble and quickly inhale it, getting my face back to normal

L: Cirrus: "Leblt's hblead bablck agblain anbld deblcidble whblat tblo dblo neblxt. Oblr, mablybe wble cobluld deblcidble hblere?"

Treecko: "Ibl'd ble ublp foblr tablkinblg hblere oblr bablck thblere, Ibl dobln't miblnd."

S: "Iblf wblere gblonna chblat, mayble wble shblould dblo it ibln thble ablir pockblet...heh"

Squirt - "Gblood thblinking"

L: Blubby: "Yeblah, eablsieblr tblo unblderblstablnd eablch otblher thblere." Blubby, Cirrus, and Treecko all start making their way back to the big air pocket.

S: squirt and I make our way to the air pocket too, all of us surfacing in it and gasping for breath at the same time

L: Treecko: "So, what's going to be next? I hope that Hide and Seek game wasn't going to be the last thing you guys do!"

Cirrus: "Don't worry, we'll definitely be doing more!"

S: Squirt - "If we can think of anything else we can do"

Me - "Yeah, any ideas guys?"

L: Blubby: "Surely one of us can think of something..."

S: "Yeah..."

Squirt - "Just gotta think..."

L: Treecko: "I mean, we could just hang out for a while, right?"

Cirrus: "That'd work, I suppose."

S: "Sure, we don't have to do any games"

Me - "Hey maybe we should eat that cake! I'm kind of hungry"

L: Blubby: "Oh, we should! I can get more air in here for that, I know you guys don't like eating underwater, and the water would probably mess up the cake anyway."

S: "Yeah I definitely don't wanna eat underwater so good call"

Squirt - "Sounds good to me!"

L: Blubby: "Alright, one sec." He starts exhaling a ton of air, expanding the air pocket, and soon nearly the whole room is in a huge bubble!

Cirrus: "Yep, this should work perfectly!"

S: Me - "Nice going blubby, they don't call you the living air tank for no reason! Hehe!"

Squirt - "Now let's eat some cake!!"

L: The cake is cut, and everyone gets their own equal slice of it. Cirrus shrinks down to 1% size to make the most of his as he eats it.

S: "Mmm! This cake is really good!"

Me - "Ill admit it, it is really tasty! I like it a lot!"

L: Cirrus: "I actually made it myself, it's a recipe I learned about 40 years ago. Still holds up pretty well!"

Treecko: "It sure does, this is great!"

Blubby: "Yeah, totally!"

S: "I didn't know you could cook! Amazing!"

Squirt - "I'm impressed, good job cirrus!"

eventually everyone finishes the delicious cake

L: Cirrus eventually had to return to 10% size to finish what he had left, having gotten completely full at 1% size.

Cirrus: "I'm really glad you all liked the cake so much!"

S: "Hehehe!"

Me - "Well, this has been a great day and I'm so happy that treecko showed up! But I think I've had enough water for one day, thanks again for all this! You guys are the best, now...race you all to the surface, the real surface!" managing to still dive under, I take a deep breath and dive back underwater

Squirt - "Whaaa? Hey no fair!"

L: Cirrus: "Haha, I'll see you there!" He dives and rapidly goes through the cave, overtaking you in just a moment.

Treecko: "Well, we'd better get going!"

Blubby: "I can at least not be last!" He and Treecko both dive too.

S: squirt quickly dives too and swims as fast as he can to the exit of the cave

Me - "Oblh nblo yblou dblont!" I manage to speed up and take my 1st place back from cirrus as we get near the surface

L: Cirrus: "Ugblh, Ibl'm sblo mublch slboweblr whblen Ibl'm smblallbler!" He struggles to keep pace with you.

Blubby, thanks to his body's density, is able to run pretty much normally. "Hbla, whblo wobluldbl've thblougblht Ciblrrubls wobluld evbler loblse abl rablce?"

Treecko has to just swim, going just a little slower than Blubby. "Mabln, yoblu gublys arble lublcky yoblu cabln hblandble wablter sblo webll..."

S: squirt passes treecko

Squirt - "Na na na na!!!" he then speeds away, passing blubby and getting into 3rd

Me - "Hblaha!!!" eventually I surface first and win the race with a gasp
"Victory is mine!!!"

L: Cirrus surfaces next to you after a moment. "It's been a pretty long time since I lost a race..."

Down below, Blubby does catch up, but since he needs to climb out instead of swimming, he falls behind again, and even Treecko overtakes him.

S: "Well I'm happy I won! Hehe!"

Soon, squirt surfaces ad well with a gasp, getting 3rd place

Squirt - "Oh well, 3rd place is not too bad"

L: Treecko surfaces not long after. "Well, at least I'm not last. Poor Blubby, not being able to swim must really suck..."

About half a minute later, Blubby finally surfaces at the shore nearby. "Kind of forgot that cave's fairly far down!"

S: Me - "Hehe!! Well thank you guys for an amazing birthday! I'll never forget this! Treecko, can I hang with you for the rest of the day?"

L: Treecko: "Yeah, of course! I'm free for the rest of today!"

Blubby: "I can come along too if you want, but I think Cirrus said he'll be a bit busy."

Cirrus: "Yeah, sorry, I have to get going soon. But I'm glad you had fun!"

S: Squirt - "I can stick around too!"

Me - "Ok! Awesome!"

and so, everyone gets to shore and I spend the rest of the day with my buddies, my tail wagging the whole time
