"Between a rock and a sunny place"

On what had been a surprisingly dark day so far, Nox was taking advantage of the heavily reduced sunlight to explore. Though he could still feel the tingly discomfort of the UV rays on him, his body could tolerate it much longer than if it had been sunny, and he swam about in the ocean to look around. Eventually though, as he began to ache from sunlight exposure, it was about time for him to head back to shore, which would take a few minutes... But then, things started to brighten up, and soon the sun wasn't being blocked any more!

Panicking, knowing he likely wouldn't make it to the shore in time, Nox gasped a breath and dove underwater, desperately looking for shade. Spotting a large rock with a hole big enough for him, he quickly swam inside to get out of the sunlight. It worked, but that hole didn't go anywhere, and the umbrakin had no real choice but to just wait and hope the sunlight would weaken enough.

14 minutes in, he was getting very low on breath, and the light wasn't letting up. His sunlight tolerance still hadn't recovered, but if he stayed much longer, he was going to drown... He had to think of something, and soon!

squirtlerocks07 and I did an RP based on this.

S: down deep in the ocean, things seemed relatively normal, that is...until Nox, an umbrakin was found inside of a large hole beneath a rock to get away from sunlight as it shines through, sunlight can be deathly for him so he needs to be careful...luckily, there was someone else swimming down that deep, Zippy, the speedy fast grovyle, they are taking a deep dive underwater to relax, wearing a pair of goggles, they don't know yet that Nox is in danger as they swim along the ocean floor, his nose pinched shut

L: While Nox isn't in view just yet, bubbles are visibly rising from the hole he's hiding in, giving away to Zippy that someone is down there.

S: "Mmmm?" Zippy turns and notices the bubbles, getting confused he swims over to the large rock with the hole it in, he starts to look around, still not seeing nox, but Nox can see him

L: "Zbl-Ziblppy! Hblelp!" Nox shuffles forward a bit, needing to lay down to fit in the hole he's in. With that, his face is just barely visible, blue and obviously scared.

S: zippy's eyes go wide as he hears the call for help, he swims down a bit lower and notices Nox's face, he kneels down and shuffles a bit to get inside the hole he's in
"Nblox?! Whblat are yblou doiblng doblwn hblere?! Ablre yblou ok??"

L: Nox shakes his head. "Ibl-Ibl cabln't leblave beblcaublse oblf thble sublnliblght, bublt Ibl'm goblnna drblown iblf Ibl stblay hblere!"

S: "Ublh oblh...thblats noblt gblood... pooblr noblx..." Zippy gives nox a light pet, to hopefully calm him down
"Hmmm... whblat shblould wble dblo thblen?"

L: "Ibl dobln't knblow... MMM!" Nox covers his mouth, starting to shiver a little bit from how badly he needs to breathe.

S: "Shboot...ummm... wablit! I'm a veblry speebldy swimblmer...I mably be able to cablrry yblou to thble sublrface and geblt yblou to shblade beblfore somblething babd happblens, yblou knoblw hblow fablst I ablm"

L: Nox briefly uncovers his mouth to talk. "Ibl-itbl'd hblave tblo ble reblallbly qublick... Thbl-thblink Ibl hblave leblss thblan abl miblnutble..."

S: "Doblnt woblrry...I'm on iblt" Zippy then wraps his arms Nox, getting him out of his hiding spot
"Hanblg tiblght!"
then with a burst of speed, Zippy swims up very quickly to the surface with nox in his arm, getting there in less then 10 seconds gasping for air, then he runs just as fast, so fast he runs on water, then quickly gets to a very shady area later on, just in time
"Got it!"

L: So little time passed in that trip that Nox's face is still going back to normal as they get to the shaded place, a faint trail of dark mist that had risen off him marking the path they'd taken. "Th-thanks for that... W-way too close..."

S: "Agreed, I'm just glad your ok... you really worried me" Zippy gives nox a full on embrace, even tearing up a little
"What even happened that got you into this situation?"

L: Nox sighs, and hugs Zippy back. "Just me being dumb... With how dark today had been up until now, the sunlight was weaker on me, so I figured I could explore for a while... But then the sun came back out while I was too far from shore..."

S: "I see, well I'm just glad your nice and safe now, thank goodness I was down there swimming around or you probably would have drowned"

L: "Yeah, that really wouldn't have gone well... I guess you're here to explore too, huh?"

S: "Mmhm, just been relaxing deep underwater and swimming around, yesterday I met another swim buddy, and I was gonna ask him tonight if we could go for a swim together, he's a very chill pokemon, maybe you could join us? I'm sure he wouldn't mind if he just got to know you"

L: "Oh, you made a friend? Alright, cool, I can come by later. Hopefully I won't end up scaring them much."

S: "Yeah I hope so too, but again he's very chill so I don't see him freaking out that much" Zippy gives him a piece of paper
"Here's his address, meet me there at 6:30pm, the sun should be set by then"

L: Nox reads the paper. "...Right, I know where that is. I'll meet you two there. I wonder what sort of Pokemon your friend is..."

S: "He's a Flygon, but I know you don't know what that looks like, so I'll be a surprise...alright then, well stay safe and I'll see you then"
Zippy then dashes away

L: Nox makes sure to keep to the shade for the rest of the day, only very briefly going out in the sunlight every now and them.

Eventually, 6:30 rolls around, and Nox arrives at the address he'd been given. By now, as the sun sets, the sunlight is weak enough that it's not an issue to him.

S: Zippy is already there and waiting, waving at nox...his goggles over his forehead
"Hey nox! You made it! Good to see you again!"
he hugs him

L: "Yep! I made sure to be more careful after what happened earlier. So, where's your friend?"

Just as he says that, the flygon lands nearby, smiling at Zippy. "Hi, I'm here! And... Um..." His smile fades as he notices Nox, clearly a bit intimidated by them...

S: "Oh here he is, the flygon I told you about" he turns to the flygon
"Don't worry, he's not gonna hurt you, he's very friendly...this is Nox, he's slowly been turning into my best friend"

L: Nox: "I know I like creepy, but I really do just want to be friends."

Flygon: "...Well, I trust you, Zippy..." He still seems a bit unsure, but not as much as he initially did.

S: "Don't worry about it, you'll warm up to him"

suddenly someone else comes zooming in, a dragonite

Dragonite - "Heyyyy!!! Don't you leave your brother behind flygon!"

he lands right next to hin

L: Flygon: "Oh, sorry about that! Guys, this is Dragonite, my brother."

Nox: "Ah, nice to meet you too. I'm Nox. Try not to be too intimidated by how I look..."

S: Zippy - "Oh hi! Don't think we met, I'm Zippy! Nice to meet you!"

Dragonite - "Oh my goodness, quite the creature there, but he doesn't look too bad...now, what were you guys gonna do, hmm?"

L: Flygon: "We were all just about to go for a swim together! There's a nice lake nearby that'd be perfect!"

Nox: "I think I know what one you're talking about, I like that one too."

S: Zippy - "Oh yeah! That one! That's a good lake!"

Dragonite - "Well I'm not much of a swimmer, but I suppose it might be nice, as long as we...stay on the surface, w-where it's safe!"

L: Flygon: "That's fine, Dragonite, just having you hanging out with us would be nice."

Nox: "Yep, I don't mind you not joining us underwater."

S: Zippy - "Hmm... it seems like he's not a fan of being submerged huh? Maybe we can all help him out with that"

Dragonite - "I-i-i don't know if you could...my brother has tried and failed hard"

L: Flygon: "Yeah, I'm really not sure it'll work out... But, maybe all of us working together will do it?"

Nox: "...If you're up for it, Dragonite, we could give that a try."

S: Dragonite - "I guess we can give it one go then"

Zippy - "Ok then!"

L: Nox: "Alright, let's get going to that lake."

Everyone heads over to the lake. Despite the lack of sunlight, it's a relatively bright night, and everyone can still see just fine.

S: eventually everyone gets there, the lake is deep but not too deep, and the water is perfectly cool

Zippy - "Let's get swimming!" Zippy hops into the water after putting his goggles on, floating on the surface

Dragonite - "Let's go!" the dragonite happily does the same, trying to stay positive about this

L: Nox and the flygon both jump into the water as well, neither needing goggles of their own, and swim on the surface.

Flygon: "Man, it's really been a while since I've done this..."

Nox: "And I'm glad my swim's going to be safer than the one I did earlier..."

S: Zippy - "Flygon, you just swam with me yesterday, guess you must really miss it huh? Heh, now let's all try and help the dragonite submerge"

Dragonite - "Oh goody..." he clearly wasn't excited about it

L: Flygon: "Heh, well, I do love swimming, after all... Anyway, yeah, we should get started on that. Don't want you to be dreading it the whole time..."

Nox: "Best to just get it over with, yeah."

S: "I guess..."

Zippy - "Don't worry, we'll do this together! Me, Your brother and Nox"

L: Flygon: "Yeah, you've got this, Dragonite!"

Nox: "We're all right here to help you stay calm during all this."

S: Dragonite - "Ok...thanks guys, I appreciate that..." he sighs a bit

L: Nox: "So, you're already okay with swimming in general, which is helpful. We just have to ease you into diving..."

Flygon: "Is there anything in particular that scares you about going underwater? Or is it just the whole thing?"

S: Zippy - "Yeah, some information like that might be helpful"

Dragonite - "Well...I mean, the fact that I can't breathe down there scares me the most, and seeing how deep it is also freaks me out"

L: Flygon: "Not much we can do about you not being able to breathe... But we could try more shallow water at first, maybe that'd help?"

Nox: "Seems like a good place to start."

S: Zippy - "I agree, let's start there"

Dragonite - "S-sure...I guess..."

L: Flygon: "Alright, there's a good spot pretty close by." He leads the way to a specific point of the lake. Sure enough, it's not much deeper than what it would take for the dragonite to be able to go fully underwater without needing to lay down or sit.

Nox: "This should work for now, yeah."

S: Dragonite - "Alright then..."

Zippy - "Come on bud, let's give this a shot! You can do it!"

L: Flygon: "Yeah, even just one quick dive would still be better than nothing!"

Nox: "Believe me, it's not as scary as it seems!"

S: "Yeah, even if you can't breathe and all!

Dragonite - "I don't know guys...I'm still scared!"

L: Flygon: "I can go down there with you, if you want. I don't mind." He puts a hand on Dragonite's shoulder, giving them a smile.

S: Zippy - "I'm sure having your brother with you will help you relax and stay calm, me and nox can come too if you wanted"

Dragonite - "...I think I do want all of you guys down there with me"

L: Nox: "I can join in on this, no problem."

Flygon: "Yep, we're all behind you on this!"

S: Zippy - "Yep! Not a problem!"

Dragonite - "Thanks...that makes me feel a little better"

L: Nox: "So, I think we should do a countdown, then all of us go underwater at once. That sound good, Dragonite?"

S: "I-I suppose we could do that"

Zippy - "Sounds like a plan!"

L: Flygon: "Alright, first try, let's do this... 3, 2, 1!" He and Nox both go underwater.

S: Zippy takes a breath and goes underwater too, but the dragonite didn't submerge, fear still on his face

L: After a moment, Nox and the flygon surface again.

Nox: "Sort of had a feeling that wouldn't work..."

Flygon: "Come on, Dragonite, you can do it!"

S: Dragonite - "I don't know if I could do it...I'm really really nervous!"

Zippy- "I promise it's gonna be ok! Don't give up so soon!"

L: Nox: "There's nothing to worry about, we're all right here for you!"

Flygon: "Yeah, you'll be totally fine! We won't let anything happen to you!"

S: Dragonite - "Ohhhh....." the dragonite was still anxious "....I've never been underwater...so I don't even know what's it's like....but I guess I have to try"

Zippy - "Yeah! I promise! You've got this!"

L: Flygon: "Once you've gone under at all, you'll know for sure, and I'm pretty sure you'll like it!"

Nox: "Same here, I really like swimming, and I imagine you will too."

S: "Yeah! You never know until you dive under!"

Dragonite - "T-true, but I just don't know how im gonna convince myself to submerge!"

L: Nox: "Well, you almost did a minute ago, I doubt it'll take much at this point..."

Flygon: "Hey, once you go underwater, I'll give you a big hug! I'm sure that'll help make it worth it!"

S: Zippy - "That's a great idea! A hug from your brother will surely make it all better!"

Dragonite - "Well I do care a lot about my brother, we've both been through a lot together, he's my best friend...we've never even gotten into a single fight before"

L: Flygon: "Yep, not even once! There's nothing we can't handle if we're together!"

Nox: "You two are definitely lucky to have each other."

S: Zippy - "Not a single fight? Impressive"

Dragonite - "Yeah, we always stick together, so... I think I'm gonna finally do this then!"

L: Flygon: "Alright, cool! Let's finally get you underwater!"

Nox: "Right, get ready. 3, 2, 1..." He and the flygon both dive again.

S: Zippy dives again too

dragonite was nervous again, but this time he takes a deep breath and finally dives underwater too!

L: Upon seeing Dragonite underwater with him, the flygon happily gives them the hug he promised, bubbling out some air.

Nox smiles at seeing that Dragonite has made such a big step in overcoming their fear.

S: dragonite hugs the flygon back as he too bubbles out air, he takes a look around, nervous about being someplace where he can't breathe

Zippy smiles as well, even clapping at the dragonite's accomplishment

L: The flygon can easily tell that Dragonite is still nervous, so he keeps hugging them, wanting to help keep them as calm as possible.

Nox joins in on the hug as well, and the flygon doesn't seem quite as nervous about him any more.

S: even Zippy joins in on the hug, and together the trio managed to calm the dragonite down slowly

L: The flygon notices Dragonite is starting to feel better, and smiles at them. "Seble? Noblt sblo babld, riblght?"

S: Zippy - "Beiblng unblderwater is awblesome huh?"

the dragonite nods shyly in agreement, he'll admit it was kind of cool, but his face was blushing fully red as he wasn't quite used to holding his breath

L: Nox: "Riblght, wble shblould sublrfablce noblw, hble liblkelbly cabln't stblay doblwn loblng."

The flygon nods, and he and Nox let go so Dragonite can get up.

S: dragonite then swims up and gasps a bit heavily for breath as does zippy

Dragonite - "Wow, I'll admit...being underwater was interesting... everything was quiet and peaceful... I like it!"

Zippy - "Awesome to hear!"

L: Flygon: "Sweet! We can finally swim together, now!"

Nox: "Yep, you two have another thing you can do together!"

S: Dragonite - "That's really nice"

Zippy - "Now, I think it's time we combat you next fear, which is the deep water"

L: Flygon: "Yeah, just being in shallow water like this the whole time is probably going to get old."

Nox: "I think you'll have an easier time of it now that you're not really scared of being underwater in general."

S: Dragonite - "I don't know if I'll be able to handle the deep, but I won't know until I try"

Zippy- "Exactly!"

L: Flygon: "And if it doesn't work out, I wouldn't mind just sticking to shallow water for a while. We could try again some other time."

Nox: "You've already made good progress tonight, yeah."

S: Dragonite - "Right...ok, I'm ready to try it then..."

Zippy - "Alright! Let's hope for the best!"

L: The flygon leads the way out into deeper water, staying on the surface for now. "This time, I think you should be the one to decide when to dive, Dragonite."

Nox: "And we'll still be coming with you, of course."

S: Dragonite - "Good idea..."

Zippy - "Oh! And maybe you should also try some deep breathing, I'll help you stay down underwater for a lot longer"

L: Flygon: "It does, that makes a fairly big difference."

Nox: "Only recently learned about it myself, but yep, it'll help."

S: Dragonite - "Deep breathing...ok, I'll try it" the dragonite then takes some deep breathes

Zippy - "Yeah! Just like that!" Zippy starts to do the same, just in case they end up being submerged for a while

L: Nox and the flygon both join in as well, getting ready for what may potentially be a long dive.

S: after a long while of deep breathing...

Zippy - "Ok, I think we're good to go, so dragonite...you tell us when we are gonna submerge"

Dragonite - "Alright..." the dragonite looks down, trying to not be so scared by the deeper water

L: Nox: "Yep, ready whenever you are."

Flygon: "Trust me, you're still going to have fun!"

S: Zippy - "Yep! You will! I promise you!"

Dragonite - "Alright...diving down in...3....2...." he paused for a long moment then... "1!" he takes a big breath and dives underwater, soon Zippy doing the same

L: Nox and the flygon both hold their breath and dive down as well. The flygon gives Dragonite a thumbs up, happy they were able to dive without someone else doing the countdown.

S: Zippy gives him a thumbs up too, smiling warmly at dragonite

Zippy - "Gblood jblob!"

Dragonite - "Thblanks...mmm!" he covers his mouth for a brief moment as he talked underwater for the first time

L: The flygon laughs a little at Dragonite's attempt to talk. "Dobln't woblrry, itbl's fiblne tblo tablk doblwn hblere!"

Nox: "Jublst ble cablrefblul noblt tblo usble toblo mublch aiblr obln iblt."

S: Zippy giggles too

Zippy - "Yblou soublnded sillbly!"

the dragonite blushes in embrassment at that, and decides to not talk for now

L: Nox: "Coblme obln, leblt's hblead deblepeblr." He gestures for the group to follow as he starts swimming down.

The flygon stays next to Dragonite, planning on staying at their side whenever they choose to go deeper.

S: Zippy starts to swim down too, and after some hesitation the dragonite swims down deeper too

L: The flygon swims down alongside Dragonite, ready to help if they end up panicking, while Nox continues farther down.

S: a lot of bubbles escape the dragonite's nostrils as they swim down deeper as well, with Zippy following

L: Flygon: "Leblt mble knblow iblf webl're gobling toblo deblep foblr yoblu, okblay?"

S: the dragonite nods, still wanting to save air as they keep going deeper, the lake is deep but it's not sure deep...however the dragonite after a bit is getting nervous and it's face is red

L: The flygon keeps an eye on how Dragonite's doing, only blushing a little bit himself.

Nox is still doing fine as well, with about the same amount of blush.

S: same goes for Zippy, he's doing fine tho

the dragonite grunts a bit from his need to breathe, looking up worringly at the distant surface

L: The flygon pats Dragonite's back, giving them a reassuring smile. While he's getting a little bit nervous about the depth too, not being used to diving this deep, he tries not to show it.

S: Zippy wasn't nervous because he's used to the depth, but he tries to reassure the dragonite by patting their back too, but the dragonite's whimpers grow louder as their face turns fully red

L: Now able to hear the whimpering, Nox looks back at Dragonite. "Yoblu sublre yoblu wablnt tblo gblo albl thble wably tblo thble boblttoblm?"

S: Dragonite - "I-i dblont thblink so..."

Zippy - "I firgublred as mublch..."

L: Flygon: "Fablir... Mablybe wble shbloulbld gblo bablck ublp."

Nox: "Hebl'll ble geblttiblng toblo unblcomblforbltable iblf wble dobln't."

S: "Ybleah...leblts gblo up" Zippy then starts to swim up towards the surface and the dragonite quickly follows behind, hoping that nothing bad will happen

L: Nox and the flygon both follow, starting to strain a bit themselves from how long the dive has been and how much they've both talked.

S: it's a bit of a long swim back up since they went so deep, but everything goes fine as Zippy still had a while before he was in any real trouble, but the dragonite still desperately needed to breathe

L: Getting a bit worried about Dragonite, the flygon keeps looking over to check on them. He hopes that, if they really can't surface on their own, Zippy will be willing to help, since he knows they can still be fast underwater.

S: the dragonite covers his mouth and starts to swim a bit more frantically, they are almost there

L: Flygon: "Hblang ibln thblere abl liblttlble loblngeblr!" His face is fully red now, as is Nox's, but they at least know that they themselves will surface fine for sure.

S: thankfully before any issues arise, they all surface at the same time, gasping heavily for breath

L: Nox: "G-good thing we didn't go much deeper... Might not have been that fun for Dragonite..."

Flygon: "S-speaking of that... Dragonite, what'd you think about going so far down?"

S: Dragonite - "I mean, it's not terrible, but I prefer to stay where it's mostly shallow..."

Zippy - "Understandable"

L: Flygon: "Yeah, I get that too. We don't have to go that deep again, no worries."

Nox: "I suppose now we may as well just relax together for a while, huh?"

S: Zippy - "Good idea"

Dragonite - "Y-yeah, I definitely wanna just relax"

L: Flygon: "Sounds good to me!"

Nox: "Yep, we'll all just take it easy for now."

S: "I like that idea"

Zippy - "Yep, sounds perfect!" Zippy then starts to lazily swim around the place

L: Nox and the flygon start swimming about as well, though the flygon still stays fairly close to Dragonite just in case.

S: the dragonite swims about too, staying near flygon so he doesn't freak out

L: Flygon: "Haven't really done a whole lot of swimming at night before, this is kind of neat."

Nox: "It does seem uncommon for people like you guys to do this, yeah."

S: Zippy - "Ever since I met nox, I've been swimming a lot at night, it's kind of cool"

Dragonite - "It's quiet and peaceful, I like it"

L: Nox: "Certainly better than what I was used to before I met Zippy."

Flygon: "Oh? What was wrong with it back then?"

S: Zippy - "Well, you see...nox is from a different universe, in his world everyday is dark, and extremely dangerous, he's like the only creature from there that's actually friendly"

Dragonite - "Oh wow..."

L: Flygon: "That sounds... Kind of awful. No offence."

Nox: "Don't worry, I hate that place too. Now that I've seen how much better Earth is, I only go back if I have to."

S: Zippy - "Yeah most of the time, nox tries to stay here on earth, I've been showing him around the place, and underwater too"

L: Nox: "As much of a pain as it is that I have to worry about sunlight here, I've been getting by, and I've been enjoying seeing what Earth has to offer."

Flygon: "Well, that's good! I'm happy you're enjoying our world!"

S: Dragonite - "Yeah me too!"

Zippy - "Nox and I have pretty much become best friends now, haven't we bud?"

L: Nox: "We certainly have, you were actually my first friend. We're really lucky we happened across each other while you were in my world, it wouldn't have ended well if we hadn't met..."

Flygon: "You... Didn't have any friends before him?"

S: Dragonite - "Yikes, that's kind of sad..."

Zippy - "Yeah, the poor guy has been pretty lonely, but now he has me!"

L: Nox: "Yep, and I really do appreciate that." He gives Zippy a hug.

Flygon: "Well, that's good at least!"

S: Zippy happily hugs him back

Dragonite - "So, not to be complaining or anything but I'm getting kind of bored, I wanna do something exciting!"

L: Flygon: "Me too... Oh, how about a breath holding contest? That might be fun!"

Nox: "I'd be up for that too, though I get the feeling Dragonite might be at a disadvantage."

S: Zippy - "Ooh sounds like fun!"

Dragonite - "What's a...breath holding contest?"

L: Nox: "Right, you likely wouldn't know. It's where we all go underwater and see who can stay there the longest."

Flygon: "It's pretty fun!"

S: "Fun?? I don't know about that...I was already so close to inhaling water eariler, I don't wanna do that again..."

L: Nox: "Maybe you could just watch, and surface whenever you need to?"

Flygon: "That'd be kind of lame, I think, but I guess it'd be okay..."

S: Zippy - "Yeah that is lame... look maybe we shouldn't if the dragonite is gonna freak out"

Dragonite - "Not sure if I'm gonna be comfortable watching my brother push himself..."

L: Flygon: "Maybe we should just do something else, then, because otherwise it'll only be two people."

Nox: "I'm not really sure what we could do, though..."

S: Zippy - "Me neither..."

Dragonite - "Should we just call it then? If we can't think of anything..."

L: Nox: "...Yeah, I think so. I wish I knew more about games, but I'm still really new to them."

Flygon: "It's alright, we can teach you some sometime."

S: Zippy - "Wait a minute... I know a game we can play! And I've seen people do this one all the time! Even in water! Tag!"

Dragonite - "Oooh tag! I love that game!"

L: Nox: "Never heard of that..."

Flygon: "It's really easy, whoever is "It" has to touch someone else as soon as they can, and then that other person becomes "It"!"

S: Zippy - "It's a really fun game and it gives you a good workout too"

Dragonite - "Yeah yeah yeah! I wouldn't mind going back underwater for that one! You wanna try it Nox?"

L: Nox: "Alright, sure, we can try that out. I get the feeling Zippy is going to do pretty well at it..."

Flygon: "Oh, yeah, Zippy, hold back on your speed for this, okay?"

S: Zippy - "Heh, no problem...I wanna make this fair for everyone!"

Dragonite - "Alright! Well, let's get started!" the dragonite taps the flygon
"Tag! Your it brother!" he takes a deep breath and dives underwater

L: Flygon: "Alright, here we go!" He starts swimming toward Zippy as fast as he can, while Nox gets some distance and watches how the game works.

S: Zippy - "Oh no!! Your not catching me!" Zippy holds his breath and dives underwater as well to get away from the flygon

L: Flygon: "We'll see about that!" He gasps a breath and dives under as well. Nox does the same, joining them underwater.

S: "Nbla nbla nbla nbla!" Zippy swims fast but not too fast away from flygon

the dragonite swims deeper so he's not noticed by his brother

L: Flygon: "Geblt bablck hblere!" He's slowly gaining on Zippy.

At this point, Nox is confident he fully understands the game, and goes deeper to not be as obvious.

S: "Yblou cblant get mble! Yblou cblant get mble!" he keeps swimming away

meanwhile, the dragonite smiles at Nox as he sees him come down deeper, giving him a thumbs up

L: Flygon: "Yebls... Ibl... Cabln!" With one more lunge, the flygon manages to tap Zippy, and quickly swims away. "Goblt yoblu!"

Nox nods to Dragonite, waving at them since he doesn't have thumbs himself.

S: "Whblat?!?! Grrrr!!! Gblet bablck heblre flygblon!" Zippy quickly swims after him

the dragonite smiles at Nox, hoping that nobody will find them, but of course they will eventually get found

L: The flygon does his best to outswim Zippy, unintentionally going straight toward Nox and Dragonite.

Nox: "Dobln't brbling hblim ovbler hblere!" He starts trying to swim away.

S: Dragonite - "Ahhhh!!! Geblt awblay!" the dragonite starts to swim away as well

Zippy - "Hehblehe!!!!"

L: Flygon: "Gblo foblr onble oblf thblem, noblt mble!" He's beginning to blush from strain by now.

Nox makes sure to go in a different direction from Dragonite. "Noblpe, yoblu're noblt tablggiblng mble!"

S: Dragonite - "Your not getblettibg me eblither!"

Zippy continues to go after the flygon

L: Flygon: "Nblo, leblave mble alblone!"

Nox slows down a bit once he's gotten some distance, watching the two.

S: Zippy - "Nblo wblay!" Zippy speeds up just enough to tag the flygon again!
"Gobltcha!" he then zooms away

L: Flygon: "Oblh, coblme obln!" After a quick look around to find them, he starts going after Dragonite! "Noblw itbl's yoblur tublrn!"

S: Dragonite - "Whblaaa??? Gblet awblay!"
dragonite starts to quickly swim away from the flygon

L: Flygon: "Coblme hblere alblreabldy!"

Nox smiles, still having had an easy time of this so far as he tries to make sure he's not noticed by the flygon.

S: "Nblever! Yblou wonblt gblet me!!" he continues to swim away

L: Flygon: "Yebls Ibl wibll, yebls Ibl wibll!" He's gradually getting closer to Dragonite.

Nox: "Ooblh, cablrefblul thblere Drblagoblnitble!"

S: "Nblo yblou wblont!" he keeps swimming away

L: But soon, the flygon manages to tag Dragonite! "Hbla! Tobld yoblu Ibl wobluld!" He starts swimming away, and while he's still having fun, his face is red now.

Nox is starting to blush a little bit as well, but he doesn't mind it yet. He swims away from Dragonite, just in case they decide to go after him.

S: the dragonite's face is red too and so is Zippy's but neither of them care as the dragonite starts to swim after Nox next!

"Gblrrr!!! Comblere hblere yblou!'

L: Nox: "Oblh nblo, hblere wble gblo..." He speeds up, trying to outpace them. Despite his legs just ending in spikes instead of feet, he's going pretty fast.

S: "Jeeblz! Hebls fablst! Bublt I'm fablster!"
he's gaining on nox rather quickly

L: Nox: "N-nblo, coblme obln!" He tries to go as fast as he can.

The flygon isn't noticing his need to breathe yet, just watching the two while keeping some distance.

S: and he tags nox!

Dragonite - "Gotblcha!!! Hblaha!!" he then quickly swims away

Zippy's face was fully red almost blue, grunting a bit in strain, which nox can see him

L: Nox: "Ugblh, mabln..." He notices Zippy is getting low on breath. "Yoblu okblay ovbler thblere?"

Hearing that reminds the flygon he'll need to breathe as well, and he covers his mouth for a moment. "Mmmh..."

S: the dragonite also covers his mouth, needing to breathe as well
"Mmm...."

Zippy - "I-i tblhink I mably nebled some aiblr... but yblour stblill noblt gbloing to catblch me!" he swims down deeper to escape

L: Nox: "Jublst wabltch mble!" He starts chasing after Zippy, going deeper and deeper while ignoring his own need to breathe.

S: the dragonite swims up to the surface to get some air, not wanting to push himself as he gasps for it, he stays up there for now and just hopes nobody catches

meanwhile, Zippy finds a hiding spot away from nox, but his face quickly turns blue and his grunting is more audible

L: The flygon surfaces to gasp as well, not far from Dragonite. "I'm not It, don't worry. Just needed air..."

Down below, Nox is searching for Zippy. "Whblere dibld yoblu gblo? Coblme oublt ablreabldy!"

S: Dragonite - "No worries...Phew I'm getting tired and it looks like the sun is about to rise soon"

Zippy tries to keep quiet so nox can't find him, but his grunting still slips through

L: Nox floats in place for a moment, closing his eyes as he listens... And he can just barely hear Zippy's grunting, starting to swim in the direction of it as his face goes fully red. "Ybl-yoblu cabln't hblide foblr loblng..."

S: Zippy - "Ublh oblh..." he covers his mouth and nose so hopefully the bubbles won't give him away, or his grunting

L: But, not too long after that, Nox finds Zippy's hiding spot! "Thblere yoblu arble!" He quickly reaches and tags them before they can move, and starts swimming away again!

S: "Ublgh! Dblang!" Zippy swims after Nox

a while more passes by, and eventually the sun is starting to become into view, Zippy realizes this and pauses the game, quickly getting back to the surface as he told nox that it was almost daytime, once he surfaced and gasped for breath, Zippy leads nox to some shade, not wanting nox to make the same mistake again

L: Nox: "Man, we really did play ALL night, huh? That was fun, though!"

Flygon: "It was, yeah! I really didn't think you'd be that good at swimming, Nox, but you sure proved me wrong!"

S: Dragonite - "That was awesome! We should totally do it again! But for now, I'm exhausted...I need some sleep... flygon we should get going back home now"

Zippy - "Yeah I'm tired too, and I'm sure my parents are wondering where I am too...they are probably just about to wake up"

L: Flygon: "For sure, I feel like I'm gonna just pass out soon..."

Nox: "And I'll need to find a good spot to spend the day before the sunlight starts getting too intense."

S: Dragonite - "Well, it was awesome meeting you guys! Thanks for a fun day! Come on bro, let's get outta here" the dragonite starts to fly away back towards his and flygon's home

Zippy - "And I gotta bounce too, great hanging with you nox! Hopefully I'll see you again soon! Bye bye!" Zippy then zooms away

L: Flygon: "Right behind you, buddy!" He takes off, following Dragonite.

Nox: "See you guys!" He waves goodbye, and starts carefully looking for a place to wait for the night.
