In case you're wondering why I mostly disappeared for the last month, it's not because I was in the mines the whole time -- I was still being artistic, but just in a different way l3
I had been playing VR chat with friends for some time, and was always intimidated by the prospect of making my own avatar edits onto these cute bases (Soap Dogs and Soap Dragons, made by https://ironicsoap.gumroad.com/), thinking it would be too technical for me... but after long enough, I just said, fuck it, let's learn how to do this for real.... and so I did, and have created a bunch of my OCs as cute toony avatars, and I'm real happy with them. A few compromises here and there, but overall, I think they all came out pretty great. l3 The only REAL compromise was Broxburn, who's supposed to be a gryphon... I just couldn't find a way to make him a bird, so for the time being he just gets to be whole-horse. l3 Featuring O-sho, an older OC I have never actually drawn myself, but he was simple enough in design that he made a good first test of what I'd learned l3
Yooo that's rad as fuck!! Do you have a headset? I've been patiently biding my time until Valve releases their new one before I get mine.
I absolutely LOVE your noone. I've got a Poochyena model and I figure I could probably edit it to be more like myself, but I'd have to do what you did and say 'fuck it', yaknow?

Thanks hahah. It's actually not as hard as I was imagining, just a lot of very careful step by step tutorials until you really get the hang of things. Though being art inclined already gave me a slight advantage, and I have a friend whs very well versed to give me some important tips l3
Yeah,I got the headset and proper set up. l3 Thanks hahah. It's actually not as hard as I was imagi
