I usually draw bipeds, and you're right! Even when I draw quadrapeds like turtles, I have a tendency to put them on two legs. When I draw eeveelutions like leafeon, and other pokemon based on cats, dogs and horses, I keep them on four legs.
Also if you look at my bulbasaurs on e621, it's about 50/50 whether they're bipedal or not. I often draw them as quadrapeds, I think they look good that way, it sort of depends on the pose.

Ha ha awww, yeah, personally one thing I don't like about some visual novels is they will have a very opaque punishing style to them. Like if you proposition someone after hanging out with someone 4 times, they will say, "Oh, I thought you'd never ask~" and you'll have some sort of sexy sequence. But if you only hang out 3 times, they will instead say, "I don't know if I know you well enough for that yet." and you'll lose 20 reputation or something silly. And then since the game only lasts 5 days, it means you are locked out of the best ending.
So, I work hard to make my games so that nothing is overly punishing. Maybe you lose a minigame, maybe you waste some money or a Pokemon gets upset. But, they always forgive you. Hopefully you can enjoy my game and feel relaxed with it~
