Oh my gosh. D: Was this done without a reference or anything? I was pretty sure it was like a photo based thing in the thumb but I don't think I've seen you do that before. Otherwise your stuff is just really impressively realistic!

I had a ref. A photo I took when I was at someone's house. Even then, the pose of the boy in the pic wasn't exactly the same (he was balancing the airbed on his head).  
   The stuff I did that was a "direct copy" from the ref was where the light fell and what it did to the colors.

Hm, I see! Well it's still really impressive. (: Or at least it looks like all the things like the water were done with your own brush and coloring, rather than just photo altering - maybe not the case, but it could fool me! And even when people use references for photos, they can usually trace a pose, but they can't match the coloring, and I think the coloring is what I was most taken by!
