A bit tof an early birthday present for my sweet vixen, with a little bit of a collegiate vibe to help make her feel young.
I've talked about it with several of you before, but Grace and I met in college, bonding over a shared interest in history and the pleasant astonishment of finding someone else from the same little town. We used to study together a lot, and help each other prepare various papers and assignments. (She was invaluable in helping me get my citations done correctly!) So, a little nod to the happy memories of those days. (And never mind that tablets in 1997 never looked like that!)
You two were adorable as college beans. Also really digging the look in both of your eyes. I would imagine there was a lot of fun back in the college days? (At least in the furry universe? Would imagine IRL college was heckin' stressful.)

Aw, thank you dear. And we did have a lot of fun, indeed. Both in-universe and, believe it or not, in real life as well. College was pretty stressful at times, especially as we got closer and closer to finishing our degrees, but it wasn't all bad. We had plenty of time for goofing around, too. And being able to spend time and study together made it easier, too. Granted, we never snuggled up like this back then. I can just imagine how many heads would've exploded on our tiny, deeply conservative campus if we had. Plus Grace was seeing someone at the time. But that's what fantasy is for!

This came out *very* hot. @Gracetehgoldenfurred looks stunning, and this particular pic of her makes her look quite... well, either 'hungry' or at least seems to see something she likes, with that grin. Megan also has a similar look in her eyes, but a little less aggressively.
I think anyone walking in on this view might end up either reaching low earth orbit via nosebleed rocket, dying of blood loss, or both xD
alternately, if a guy, at a minimum might pass out from blood rushing somewhere other than the head on his shoulders

I'm so glad you like it, and those are wonderful expressions for both of them, I agree. I was tending to read it more as "yeah, you wish this was you" but I can see how you came by your interpretation as well. And, given that vixen's penchant for mischief, it does fit!

VERY sweet story, kind-hearted and considerate. I believe the stars were perfectly aligned in your favor and may still be to this day. :3 That's perfectly amazing. <3 I love how your collegiate-bound experience is reflected through this stellar artwork. Aw, and thank you! I'm so glad you like the story of how we met, and this utterly charming little picture, too. We got so very lucky back then, and I'm so lucky to have her all to myself these days, too. And the art, though a random YCH I found, does fit very, very nicely indeed. Almost like highschool sweethearts, but a little more mature (or well, a little older anyway >~_^<) and a perfect case of the right place and the right time! Wow, and you two go back a long time, too; 1997... I think that is about the year I was kicked out of school. No, wait... that happened when I was eighteen, so I musta been out of school for a couple years already by that time. Wow am I old, hee!
This picture really captures the timeframe really well though! I love it, and I love that you two have such a history together and so many good memories. I really hope that the time will continue to treat you both well and that you'll have many, many more happy years together! >^_^<
