Background/History
Feign is a hybrid of Mightyena and Zoroark, born into a world of deception and self-reinvention. While other creatures rely on physical strength or cunning, Feign has learned the value of perception—specifically, the ability to alter how the world sees her. Growing up among the Outcasts, she initially found solace in their solidarity, yet she always knew she didn't truly belong. The lack of trust within the group, especially Blunder's rigid survival mentality, felt too constricting. For her, survival meant freedom—freedom to be anyone, anywhere, and at any time. She could slip through cracks, deceive anyone, and manipulate the perception of others as easily as breathing.
Note: When Feign first appeared to Blunder she first appeared to him as a Marsh Chimera but quickly realized it was false - a fake version of herself. He offered her water and asked her to show him her true self. Feign was intrigued by the older male and changed her appearance to a dragon - bellowing fire and roaring at him. Blunder poked holes in her appearance stating that actual Charizard flames could be felt from his distance - causing her to become annoyed with the man's teasing. Eventually though Blunder was able to convince Feign to come to the camp that he had hidden from the rest of the Zone. Feign had never seen so many hybrids such as herself in one space before. It was probably the only time since she had been a child that she felt kindred spirits around herself.
Note: Feign never accepted Blunder's offer to stay with the Outcasts, rejecting the idea of a home that was more of a battlefield than a sanctuary. Instead, she journeyed deeper into the Deep Zone, where shadows are long and creatures larger than life rule the land. There, she would hone her craft, molding illusions to her whims and forging her path as a lone figure in the unforgiving wilderness.
Note: Despite her solitary life, Feign occasionally assists those she finds intriguing, offering a shadow of herself to guide others, always hidden in the fog of deception.
