Legends tell of an actually good bible themed video game from either the 8bit or 16bit era, created by a mysterious company called Tree Of Knowledge that went bankrupt. This one isn't about stacking animals into Noah's Ark or putting them to sleep with slingshots, nope, this one takes place in the hallowed halls and pristine palaces of the heavenly hosts, one billion years after the forces of darkness were tossed into the lake of fire. Without war or strife of any kind Heaven has become a techno-utopia. A Perfect world in which every being has an assigned purpose and all humanity has been completely purged of sin!
Angel bunnies and kitties sing praises to the most high until one day The Destroyers, beings numbering ten that had been tasked with destroying the former cosmos to make way for the New Heavens and The New Earth, team up with The Beast of Revelation to rebel. Why? Having fulfilled their purpose they no longer had anything to do. To fulfill their purpose one final time they have instead decided to destroy the remainder of existence! Heaven is in danger! The four Seraphim, the greatest defenders in existence, are defeated and thrown into the depths of hell! No one is left to save heaven, until one brave little cherub, a choir bunny named Virgo, takes it upon himself to be repurposed into a super fighting angel of God. Armed with a Sword and Shield, a Bible and a Lyre, ascend the Angelic hierarchy through The Nine Spheres of Heaven and defeat the corrupted heavenly forces, stop the madness before all existence is eradicated! Fight Bible Bun, fight for everlasting Peace!
