I really need to brush up on the lore of these critters, this is a very cute baba btw! Did they not have any significant rolls to play in the story? I actually haven't tracked down the lore for all this yet kinda just fell in love with the characters and their designs they sucked me in like a black hole that and especially some of the fan songs are a quite a bit catchy!

In fact, the nightmare critters had no relevance in chapter 4. Basically, you could just swap them "ankle biters" with the smiling critters ones from chapter 3 and nothing would change. Simply, the nightmare critters where made by MOB Entertainment, after the huge success of the smiling critters, to get more money out of the poppy playtime fans and the smiling critters fandom.

I actually finished the first chapter of my au it's seven pages long not including the cover page and even started on the 2nd chapter arrival though I haven't posted any of this just yet and I say finished but they're merely in sketch form I want to clean them up a bit and color them with some light shading. Haven't gotten to the part where the nightmare critters make there appearance yet but they will. For my favorite i am torn between Baba and Simon or the shark who's name i can't recall honestly it's nearly impossible to pick a favorite from the creeper crew.
