I took many multiple year breaks from drawing over the past 12 years I'd say. Something interested I noticed for me I don't know if it's for everyone but after a break and I'm reset i usually find that I'm better at drawing. It may not be noticeable at first but it's there. You may be faster at sketching, you may find you can spit what's in your head out easier, poses might be better, facial expressions may improve new ways of doing things emerge. Time allowed to break is good take breaks rest your mind and sanity. Drawing is hard but it's supposed to be fun too and how you express yourself.

I think, the hardest step is to actually like your own artstyle and content. For a very long time, i felt unsatisfied and stuff, if it came to my art, but lately... If i look at some of my works, i kinda feel different. So yeah :3

I get that one for real seriously i was the same way for a very long time, learning to like your own art i think honestly is a form of self love you start to accept and appreciate a part of yourself one that is constantly in flux. I'm glad you could learn to love your stuff i think it's great. I know i still get a certain way sometimes I'll see some amazing art and be like I wish I had drawn that it's so good and maybe even feel some jealousy perhaps but it's okay we can learn from other artists and they're to be appreciated as well not held over head like some damocles. When I see Ai art if it's cute, I'll be like oh wow cute but it's a shame it lacks a soul.
