L: Near the shore of the ocean one day, a large eastern dragon - Cirrus - was playing in the water, splashing around and diving in and out at different sizes.
H: Somewhere near Cirrus, a brown aquatic werewolf hybrid in a cape and purple swimming trunks is practicing doing dolphin somersaults and other water propelling tricks when he happen to notice the eastern dragon. "Oh hey Cirrus!"
L: Cirrus pauses for a moment to talk. "Oh, cool to see you here, Cody! It's been a while since we met, how have you been?"
H: "Oh, just doing alright like fish in the water, hehe! What about you?" Cody stretches.
L: "I've been doing good too, just checking out the sights all over the world like usual." Cirrus lets himself float on the water's surface.
H: "Oh nice! So, what do you wanna do today?" Cody pets Cirrus with his webbed paw.
L: "I was thinking about going for a dive fairly soon, I've heard there's some cool stuff underwater near here. We may as well go together, right?"
H: "You know I won't say no to an underwater adventure, heh!" Cody flaps his fins in excitement and wags his fluffy fish tail.
L: "Nice! Let's get going, then!" Cirrus does a bit of deep breathing, before diving down underwater with a full breath and puffed cheeks.
H: Cody shortly dives after without needing a full breath, kicking both of his flat webbed paw-shaped ceteacean flipper for feet and furred fish tail altogether like a merfur to propel himself further. He also took notice of Cirrus' puffed round cheeks curiously. "Huh, your cheeks look really elastic and bouncy today. How did you do that?" The aquatic werewolf said as he pokes Cirrus' squishy cheek.
L: "They're just super elastic, they've always been this way." Cirrus puffs up his cheeks as big as they can go, each nearly reaching the size of his head!
H: "Huh, that's interesting." Cody holds onto Cirrus' squishy round cheeks with both of his webbed paws playfully as he gives a blubbed smile in front of him. "Blub! ^w^"
L: Cirrus smiles and lets Cody mess with his cheeks, happily blowing bubbles.
H: After an hour of pawing, nuzzling and playing around with Cirrus' elastic cheeks, the duo finally reached the bottom as Cody stands on the sandy floor with his elongated webbed flippaws. "Alright, here we are. Not gonna lie, I now kinda want those cheeks like yours, hehe." He said, wagging his finned tail gleefully and blowing heart-shaped bubbles non-stop.
L: They'd taken some breaks during the time Cody had been playing with Cirrus' cheeks so that the dragon could breathe. Now, Cirrus floats just above the seabed, looking around. "I'd help you achieve that, but with it being natural for me, not really sure how we'd do that."
H: "Yeah. Oh well, maybe another time. Anyway, let's see what we can find today!" Cody optimistically said as he combs his long hair mane with only his bare paws. After that, he hops off the sandy floor like a merfur and proceeds to swim underwater like a mermaid again.
L: Though it doesn't make any sort of difference for him, Cirrus tries out swimming in that way as well, undulating his body. "Heh, it's kind of fun to swim like this..."
H: "Yep! Though I always wonder if I'd have a mertail instead of my legs?" Cody flips on his back and looks at his extremely bendable toe-merged flipper feet as he kicks them back and forth like folding sheets. School of fishes are already following the two of them right now.
L: "It's probably for the best that you still have legs in this form, means you don't have to go back to normal on land. Plus, walking underwater seems neat." Cirrus looks back at the fish following the two and smiles. "Apparently we've got some friends with us!"
H: "I guess you're right." The young aquawolf said as he holds his flipper before letting go to continue its fluid paddling. He then waves hi at the fishes with his webbed paw hand. "Hello little guys, wanna join us? ^w^"
L: The fish do seem to want to stick with the two divers, and Cirrus watches them swim around. "I've always liked fish, a lot of them are pretty cute."
H: "Hehe, indeed. ^^" He pets one fish with his webbed hand, stroking their fins while wagging his tail.
L: Cirrus shrinks down to 10% size - which the fish are clearly confused about, but none seem to mind - and he pets one of them himself.
H: Cody then pulls out his can of fish pellets out of his leather bag and pours the content onto his paws, watching as they feed off the pellets from his webbed hands. "Here you go, my friends! ^^"
L: Cirrus watches the fish as well, the one he'd been petting now joining in on eating the pellets. "Heh, maybe they already knew about the food and that's why they followed us..."
H: "Maybe, but I think they see me as a prince of the sea, hehe! ^^"
L: "Wonder if it's got something to do with your necklace as well... A couple centuries ago I saw someone with a similar one to yours, and I remember them saying fish really liked them. Might just be a coincidence."
H: Cody is intrigued and confused like fish. "I'm not the only holder of this necklace?"
L: "Yep, you're not! And given how long it's been, I'd say there's at least three other people that had it that I don't know about. I didn't track it since I didn't know it was magic the first time."
H: "Oh, That's really interesting."
L: "Yeah, wish I knew more, but that's it. I can do some research into it sometime and see if I can figure out how far back it goes."
H: "Alright. Anyway, shall we continue?"
L: "Yep, let's keep going. We haven't really seen much of what's down here yet!"
H: "Roger." The duo both continue swimming underwater as they go deeper, while the schools of fish follow them like Kerfur from Voices of the Void.
{Note: I don't know what Kerfur is}
L: Cirrus is staying perfectly calm despite all the air he's talked out, having no sign of any increasing need to breathe. In fact, he still looks just as eager to explore.
H: Cody is usually concerned with the air-breather's safety whenever he's diving with them. Nonetheless he would help them when they're signaling for some air. After reaching the depths, they both explore around with Cody choosing to walk on the sand with his flippered paw feet, air bubbles escaping from his snout and mouth with his mane fluidly drifting upwards like kelp.
L: Cirrus remains floating around just above the seabed, searching the nearby area for anything interesting while making sure to stay fairly close to Cody so they don't get separated.
H: Eventually after exploring, Cody pushes open a set of kelp like curtains and behind it they discover another ancient temple. Cody's bubbles blubbling away in amazement and excitement. The fish still continuing to follow the two. "Woow~ [:o]"
L: Cirrus quickly comes over to look. "Oh, wow! We HAVE to go see what's in there!" He starts carefully making his way into the temple.
H: "Of course" Cody then starts swimming into the temple, checking if there are any traps before heading inside with the fishes. He's also unaware that a random octopus is hugging his flipper.
L: It takes a few seconds, but as Cirrus looks around, he notices the octopus first. "Heh, you've got a passenger on your flipper there..."
H: Confused, Cody looks at himself, the octopus is already crawling around Cody's body curiously. "Oh hello little guy! ^^" He pets the octopus with his webbed paw hand.
L: "They're pretty cute for an octopus, huh? I wouldn't mind them tagging along for a while."
H: "Sure, hehe. Anyway, let's see what we can find here. ^^" Cody explores around the temple while kicking his flippers like a dolphin as fish continue to follow the two along with the octopus hanging onto the fish wolf. The temple is really dark but luckily Cody has night vision.
L: Cirrus can't quite see as well though, having a bit of trouble being able to make anything out. Eventually he just switches to his smallest size and holds onto Cody's head so he won't get lost. "Don't mind me, just can't see well in here."
H: "Don't worry, I got you covered. ;)"
L: "Right, thanks." Cirrus does his best to keep looking around, hoping that something cool will be found soon.
H: During the underwater exploration, the two find what appears to be a small statue in one of the rooms, it's made of gold. "Blub?" [:O]
L: "Nice!" Cirrus hops off Cody's head to get a better look at the statue, floating around it. "This is already a pretty great find!"
H: The statue looks very aztec, it depicts a figure holding a diamond.
L: "I wonder if that gem was important to whoever used to live here, or if it's just meant to look cool..."
H: "Hmm, might be important. So who wants to grab it?"
L: "I'll give it a shot..." Cirrus grows back to 10% size, and after a moment of hesitation, he grabs the diamond before quickly moving away from the statue just in case.
H: So far, nothing seems to happen after taking the diamond. "Huh, guess we're safe now."
L: "Okay, good..." Cirrus gets a good look at the diamond. "Man, even this alone is probably gonna be worth a ton!"
H: Suddenly, the diamond starts glowing as it consumes Cirrus in pure light. "Cirrus!?"
L: "W-what's going on!?" Cirrus has to shut his eyes because of the light.
H: The light then died down and at first glance, Cirrus appears to look unchanged. However, Cody notices that the dragon has longer whiskers and tree-like horns. "Umm did that diamond change you slightly?"
L: Cirrus looks himself over, noticing the longer whiskers. "I feel different, too... A LOT stronger, for one thing."
H: "What thing?" The octopus is already on Cody's head.
L: "Well, I..." Cirrus laughs a little as he notices the octopus. "I just think we should test out whatever that diamond just did to me!"
H: "Alright. Wanna go outside just in case?" He blubbed.
L: "Yeah, I get the feeling we'll need some room." Cirrus keeps a hand on Cody on the way out to make sure he doesn't get lost in the darkness.
H: The duo finally exit out of the submerged temple as Cody sits on a rock. "Alright, let's see what you got now."
L: "So, first, I'm already feeling like I can put WAY more force into moving..." After setting down the diamond just in case, Cirrus tries floating around at high speed. Sure enough, he's able to accelerate far more quickly than normal!
H: "Wow, you're so super fast now! :O"
L: Cirrus goes back over to Cody. "Yeah, I can build up speed a lot faster than before now! And another thing I wanted to test... I feel like I might be able to change size differently now..." He gets some room, and a huge amount of fog surrounds him... And when it clears, he's ENORMOUS, easily 400 feet long!
H: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, YOU'RE SO HUGE NOW! :O OOOOOOOOOOO"
L: "This is so cool! Haha, you look so small!" Cirrus playfully gently pokes Cody with a toe that's bigger than the wolf's entire body.
H: "Hmm, it looks like the diamond gives you this super power. I wonder what happens if I also touch it?"
L: "Well, give it a shot!" Cirrus nudges the diamond closer to Cody, hoping it'll do something for them as well.
H: Suddenly Cody gets consumed by the light aswell for a brief second before it fades away...
L: When it clears, Cody's fur has turned a gold color, his fins grown a bit longer. His tail in particular has become a lot longer, about double its normal length!
H: Upon looking at himself, Cody is astoundingly amazed by his new form as he lets out large quantities of bubbles in surprise. "WOOOOW!!!! HOLY AXOLOTLS!!!!! [:O]"
L: "I guess it affects you too!" Cirrus changes back to 10% of his normal size to get a good look at Cody's new form.
H: "I guess my swimming speed has now been amplified. I need to test this out!" He excitingly said after inspecting his new fins and tail.
L: "Yep, I get the feeling you're faster now too! Let's see if that's actually true, try going really fast!"
H: "Ok! ^^" Cody then crouches on all fours (including the now-more-elongated flippers for feet) as he charges all of his fins and eventually he starts zooming all over the ocean at a surprisingly astounding greater speed incomprehensible to all furs sort of like that one racing car Jeremy Clarkson drove that almost broke his lips apart in Top Gear. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I'M GOING TO CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
L: "WOAH!" Cirrus quickly speeds up to try to keep up with Cody. "Man, this might actually be able to rival how fast I can NORMALLY go!"
H: Eventually, Cody crashes into a sunken ship as it put a stop to his new speed. "Ow, too fast maybe..."
L: Cirrus comes to a stop near him. "O-oh jeez, are you okay!? That must've really hurt..."
H: Flying fish are circling around Cody's head. "I'm ok, really. Don't worry."
L: "Then this thing must be making us more durable too, that probably would've at least knocked you out otherwise... I wonder what else it did that we haven't found?"
H: "Can I try launching into the surface like a dolphin?"
L: "Oh, yeah, give that a try!" Cirrus goes up to the surface, getting his head above the water both to breathe and to watch how high Cody goes.
H: "Alright." Cody charges his fins on the sand floor yet again and launches into the surface instantly like fireworks, to the spectacle of some onlookers passing by, until he disappears off into literally space. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
L: Cirrus gasps in surprise, and takes off flying after Cody, holding his breath in case the wolf really did get up into space from that jump.
H: Now in space, Cody holds onto a satellite while holding his breath, completely scared for dear life. It's also the first time he went to space. The octopus is also gone when the launch started, still on the oceanfloor safe and sound. ""mmm...!" o~o
L: Not long after, Cirrus flies up next to Cody, back at his normal size. Knowing trying to talk would be pointless, he motions for Cody to hold onto him so he can bring them back down to Earth.
H: Understanding what Cirrus mearnt, Cody holds onto Cirrus' spiky back carefully, also noticing the spiral patterns on each of his spikes.
L: Cirrus hasn't noticed the spirals himself yet. With Cody secure on him, he starts going back down, fairly quickly getting back into the atmosphere so the two can breathe and talk. "Are you okay? I've never seen anyone do something like that before!"
H: "I'm alright. I think this is too much speed honestly. Also nice spirals on your back spikes."
L: "Oh, what?" Cirrus carefully bends himself just enough to get a look at his spikes. "Cool, didn't notice that before! That'll probably have been the diamond. But anyway, let's head down to the ocean again." He continues descending.
H: "Alright." Cody splashes back into the ocean and perfectly stands on the sandy floor with his now-more-fin-like flipperpaws, sand dust surrounding him from the landing impact as his mane flows upwards. "Huh, that was a perfect landing there." He pets a nearby fish.
L: Cirrus holds his breath as he returns to the water, and he goes and grabs the diamond before returning to Cody. "I wonder if the effect of this is going to be permanent... I don't think I'd mind if it was."
H: "Hmm, I wonder what else can we do with these new forms?"
L: "I think I might've seen just about everything mine can do... I might be more durable like you are, but I don't think I want to test that."
H: "Hmm, I wanna see how 'super' my bubble blowing has gotten now." Cody then proceeds to blow some air bubbles.
L: Far more bubbles then usual leave Cody, easily making a cloud of them that's twice as big as him!
H: "Wow, that's a new world record it seems."
L: "Not actually the most I've seen, but you're definitely in second. A friend of mine can do WAY more than that. Still though, that's pretty cool!"
H: Cody gives a thumbs up, somehow the octopus is back on Cody and covering his muzzle too. ^^
L: "Haha, speaking of friends, I guess your octopus buddy is back!" Cirrus returns to 10% size and gives the octopus a playful little poke.
H: "Oh hi again, little guy! ^^" Cody pets the octopus again.
L: "So, I think we've seen everything this diamond's done to us... Maybe we should start doing a bit of research into what exactly it is, now?"
H: "Of course. Where should we go now?" Cody holds the diamond in his webbed golden paws.
L: "Did we find everything in the temple we got that from? I couldn't see well in there, so maybe there's something we didn't end up checking out."
H: "You're right. There's still a lot of rooms left unexplored. Let's go then." Cody has Cirrus on his back and they venture again into the temple, cautiously controlling his new swimming speed and blowing more clouds of bubbles from his snout.
L: Knowing Cody will definitely be able to handle it now, Cirrus remains at 10% size as the two get back inside. Once again, Cirrus can barely see, although it doesn't seem quite as bad to him now. "I think that diamond might be letting me see a little better here!"
H: "Oh, that sounds very useful, heh." Suddenly, Cody feels something brushing off against his longer flipper feet. "Blub?"
L: "What's up? Did something just happen?"
H: Cody looks over to where his flippaw was touching, there's a whole pile of discarded diamonds on the floor. "There are more diamonds here."
L: "Oh, wow! I wonder if they do things too..." Cirrus lets go of Cody to get a good look at the new diamonds, touching them to see if something happens.
H: Nothing happens right after, possibly because they already have a super form. "Huh."
L: "...Either they're like the first one and can't do it because we're already like this, or they're just normal diamonds. Either way, it's cool to see more of them!"
H: "Yeah but it kinda makes me curious. If one of these diamonds gave us these super powers, shouldn't there also be a super villain?"
L: "Not necessarily, we might be the only people who know about these... So we'd better do a good job of keeping them safe, it'd be REALLY bad if someone like that got this level of power."
H: "Yeah, that'd super awful! So, should we return the diamond?"
L: "I don't know, it wasn't really defended when we got here... But, with me being able to fly, I could easily hide them all in really obscure places around the world."
H: "Oh, we can try that."
L: "Alright! I'll definitely put the first one in the temple I live in, pretty much no one ever finds that place. After that, we'll figure out where to put the rest."
H: "Good idea! Can I check it out too?"
L: "May as well, sure! It's pretty far, but it shouldn't be that long of a trip with how fast I can fly now." After gathering up all the diamonds on the floor, Cirrus heads back outside, changing to his new enormous size again.
H: "Ok! ^^" Cody then hops onto Cirrus' back.
L: "Hang on tight, I'm gonna really push myself and see what my new top speed is!" Cirrus floats up out of the water and starts flying forward, going INCREDIBLY fast!
H: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" Cody's muzzle skin starts flopping around by the current.
L: Cirrus tries to orient himself to block the worst of the wind from hitting Cody as he continues going even faster, actually breaking the sound barrier with still no sign of reaching a limit!
H: Onlookers would spot them zooming by as Cody looks down, he tries waving back with his webbed paw.
L: There's certainly confusion down below at the enormous dragon racing by, but Cirrus doesn't pay it much mind.
Before a whole lot longer, the two get over a forest, and Cirrus comes to a stop at a seemingly random point before beginning to descend. "Alright, it shouldn't be far from here."
H: Cody hops off the dragon and shakes his wet golden fur dry. He then turns back to normal, wondering if this will have any effect on his super form.
L: Cirrus shrinks back to his normal size, being back in his normal form once the mist clears. "Hm... I guess it's temporary after all. Probably for the best."
H: Cody still has golden fur but is in his normal form. "Huh. Mine has not yet expired?" Cody looks at himself.
L: "Are you focusing on staying in yours, or something? Because I'm not. Or maybe it just works differently for you."
H: Then Cody's fur turns back to normal. "Oh, nevermind."
L: "Okay, yeah. Given that I'm still holding them, it must have a limit on how much we can do. Anyway, I'll lead the way to the temple I live in." Cirrus starts floating along.
H: Holding one of the diamonds (which appears to be in recharge mode), Cody follows Cirrus deeper into the woods.
L: It's not too long before they come across a temple made of stone, with nothing having previously been indicating the two were getting near it.
"Here we are! Happened across this place a few centuries ago, it's a nice secluded place. Never found out who owned it."
H: "I see. Seems like a good hiding place for the diamonds."
L: "And I know the perfect spot for them... There's a spring in the temple that has a secret room, and the entrance to that is really small. The diamonds should just barely fit into there."
H: "Oh, nice!"
L: Cirrus leads Cody into the temple. It's clearly OLD, but well-maintained, and it's not too long before the two reach the spring Cirrus had mentioned. It seems normal enough, though the dragon clearly wouldn't fit in it at his normal size.
"The secret room's entrance is actually underwater, and you're too big to fit in it right now... But, with the help of a friend a while back, I found out I can shrink other people if they let me!"
H: "Really? That actually sounds super useful! ^^"
L: "It is, yeah! I can only get people to 10% of their normal size, though, not 1% like I can do with myself. Here, check this out."
Cirrus holds Cody's hand, and mist surrounds the two of them. Once it clears a second later, both Cirrus and Cody are now at 10% size!
H: "Wow, I think we just became mice now."
L: "Ha, I'll need a little more for that myself..." Cirrus goes down to 1% size, not being a whole lot smaller than Cody now. "There we go! Now, let's get these diamonds put away..."
H: Stumbling upon and looking down the spring waters (which to Cody's & Cirrus' current sizes is really wide as a lake), Cody turns himself aquatic, regainining his elongated fins and tail in the process as he cannonballs into the spring. The water down here feels really nice and warm for Cody's gills that he sometimes relaxes in it as he blows large bubbles from his snout one by one (actually mini normal size considering how small the two are).
L: Cirrus splashes into the water as well, giving Cody a smile. "It's nice in here, huh? Funnily enough, I don't actually know where the water comes from, but it's clean and it always refills before long."
H: "That's interesting. Is it magical?" Instead of swimming, Cody lets his furred body completely sink towards the bottom due to how relaxing the spring is as his mane drifts upwards.
L: "It must be, it comes out of tiny holes in a nearby wall - too small for me even like this - and it actually shuts off when the spring's full." Cirrus sinks down with Cody, just relaxing for now.
H: "I see. Man, this feels really nice~"
L: "Yep, I really like hanging out in here for a while. Sometimes I drink some of the water while I'm in it, I kind of like that for whatever reason."
H: "Drink? You're thirsty?"
L: "Not really right now, but when I'm drinking from something, I like to actually submerge in it. Don't know why, it's just enjoyable to me."
H: Cody is confused. "Ok?"
L: "Yeah, I know, that's weird. I'm over 500 years old, I've picked up some weird habits over time."
H: "I see."
L: "Anyway, we should probably go put the diamonds away before we forget. You see those little holes around here?" Cirrus gestures around - there's lines of holes in places around the spring.
"Those are for me to slot my spikes into when I'm at 10% size so I can lay on my back, but one of them actually leads into that secret room I mentioned."
H: "Alright. Let's see what we can find here also." Cody then starts swimming like a mermaid as he puts some diamonds into the holes.
L: "Oh, it's this one here." Cirrus floats over to one of the holes, gesturing to it. "You can come in if you want. You'll actually be the first person to ever see the room in there!"
H: "Ooo, let me see." Kicking both of his flippers, Cody swims inside the hole...
L: Cirrus follows them in. The hole leads into a tunnel for what's likely about a foot, before opening up into a room that looks like Cirrus would fit into at 10% size. All around the room are objects of all sorts, some looking incredibly old, in addition to a pile of ancient coins!
"Please be careful with the things in here, a lot of it is really important to me."
H: "Well, this looks really nice." Said Cody as he gets out of the water.
L: Cirrus gets out as well, staying tiny for now. "Gathered all this up over the course of my entire life. The coins aren't really THAT important, I just sell some off to collectors whenever I need modern money. I'd guess there's a couple million dollars' worth in that pile."
H: Cody explores around the room, the slapping of his flat webbed flippers for feet against the ground echoing down the room. He looks at the coin pile, some of them displaying human faces on them (he doesn't recognize any of them).
L: "Truth be told, I don't actually remember who some of those people are. They're probably all gone by now." Cirrus looks around as well, smiling as he thinks about his past.
H: "Oh. Anyway, which spot in this room is best for this diamond?"
L: "Hm... I suppose it doesn't matter a whole lot, with how hard it is to find this room." Cirrus sets a diamond next to a small terracotta model of himself.
H: "Wow, is this you?" He points to the terracota statue in the room.
L: "Yep, it's my favorite thing in here." Cirrus gently brushes some dust off of it. "It was made for me by the first friend I ever had. I've kept really good care of it over the centuries, even before I found this temple."
H: "Are they dead?"
L: Cirrus sighs. "Yeah, they are. I still visit their grave every year or so, to make sure it stays maintained."
H: Cody doesn't have anything to say as he respects Cirrus' privacy regarding the passing of his friend, just sitting and looking at the statue. It's not because he's out of words, it's because he doesn't know what to say next.
L: Cirrus just silently looks at the statue for the moment... "...A-anyway, the diamonds. We've hid all of them by now, right?"
H: "Yeah. I can safely say they're safe and sound, hehe."
L: "Alright, cool. Let's head out of here for now, and we can just hang out in the temple itself for a while if you want." Cirrus starts heading back over to the room's entrance to leave.
H: "Sure, I'm actually really curious about the temple too." Cody then dives back into the water as he exits the hole along with Cirrus.
L: Cirrus puts a hand on Cody again, and after some more mist comes and goes, Cody is back to their normal size and Cirrus is at 10% again.
"Believe it or not, I've actually got some video game stuff set up in one of the rooms! It's powered by solar panels that are outside nearby."
H: "Video games? My human friend would tell me a lot about video games, maybe I'll finally get to play one! ^^" After resurfacing, Cody turns back to normal.
L: Cirrus floats out of the water. "I've got a couple dozen different ones. I'm... Not particularly good at most. But still, it's fun to explore in them."
H: "Can't wait to try, heh."
L: With a nod, Cirrus leads Cody to the temple's game room. There's a few different systems set up, with a decent selection of games for each.
"Take your pick, I'm up for pretty much anything."
H: "Hmm, this one looks really fun." Cody points to one of the games which is Mario Party [INSERT INSTALLMENT NUMBER OR SUBTITLE HERE].
L: "Alright, we'll go with that! Those games are pretty easy, so that should be good for both of us." Cirrus grabs the game and gets everything set up.
H: Cody sits on the couch and grabs the controller. "Hmm, what does this thingamabob do?"
L: Cirrus lands on the couch as well, being careful of his spikes. "That's a controller, it's how you make things happen in the game. I'll explain once we get started."
H: "Alright... How do I start the game?"
L: "Just press that button in the middle, the "Start" button, funnily enough."
H: "Oh, right." And with that, Cody starts the game.
L: Over about an hour, Cirrus and Cody play Mario Party together, with the dragon helping the wolf learn the game mechanics and get more comfortable with the layout of the controller. In the end, it ends up close, but Cody actually wins!
H: "Oh hey I won, and first time too! ^w^"
L: "Yeah, you're a pretty quick learner! It took me a while before I could actually win this myself."
H: "You're really good at this too, especially in the minigames hehe. Good game. ^^"
L: "Heh, well, I've had a lot of practice..." Cirrus gets up to turn off the game. "Hm, it's getting a bit late at this point... You can stay the night if you want."
H: "Well, how far are we from home?"
L: "Not far enough that I wouldn't be able to get you there before dark. Those diamonds made me way faster than normal, but I can still go really fast without them."
H: "Oh, well, guess I'll get going now. It was really fun being with you and finding this new discovery today. ^^"
L: "Yeah, those diamonds are so cool! It's a little bit weird that I've never heard of them until today... But I'll do some research, and I should know a good bit more by the next time we meet up."
H: "Alright. See you Cirrus! ^^" The wolf waves bye at Cirrus as he makes his way towards his home at night.
L: "Bye, Cody!" Cirrus waves back, and starts to consider where to go to learn more about the strange diamonds the two had found today.
