HOOOOOOT way was it so hot I though as I swong my great sword Force Stealer ``now switch sword and shield'' came Baze's voiceas I dismiss force stealer and call up my engine blade and absorb shield and start my battle forms three fast slash's two blocks with my shield ``good very good `` came Chirrut's voice ``okay lets call it a day its getting too hot'' Chirrut says as the two disappear back into the pendent picking heading back to the manor slipping inside I made my way up stairs to my room as I entered I saw Kai and Nari reading some manga as Nari looks up ``hi Belle back from training?'' she asked but then her nose wrinkles ``gahhhhhh Belle you smell worst then a patch of Gloom's'' she says as I make my way to the bath room I start to sway on my feet but Nari comes to my side after jumping up on the bed ``are you okay Belle you look a bit pale?'' she asked and I nodded ``yeah I'm okay Nari just got a little over heated'' I say as Kai come over with a glass of water held in his little paws ``here Belle have some'' he says holding the glass up and I gentle take it from his and take a long drink ``thanks Kai I needed that ``
After a nice shower I came out with a towel wrapped around my waste as I came out I heard a whiles come from the bed as I turn I see Nari and Hikaru on the my bed as I walk to my dresser I can tell that the two girls were eyeing me up and down after getting dressed I came over to the bed and cuddled with Nari and Hikaru both girls giggling as Nari nuzzles my cheek and Hikaru nuzzles my other cheek as she lets out a soft purring sound ``purr purr now that's the way a cute guy like you should smell clean with just a hint of a feminine scent'' she says and Nari giggles ``well shes not wrong Belle you are a cute guy and I know she and I as well as the others feel very lucky to have you as a friend''
After the short heart to heart cuddle time with the girls we made our way down stairs heading to the big kitchen as I started to wipe up a tasty taco salad Nari and Hikaru waited for me at the table after eating Nari Hikaru and I headed out to do some exploring Kai and I had found a really cool old building just behind the local university well Kai had spotted what looked to be a window on the side of one of the rolling hills as Kai and I looked we found a door and had entered to find the place was in very good shape thire must be some kind of cleaning talisman or cleaning droid helping to keep this place up
After getting Kai the four of use made our way after a bit of walking we were close to the hill home w started to hear the sounds of someone talking as we got closer we spotted a larg moving truck parked right in front of the hill with movers going back and forth as a small car rolled up and a tall man climb out he wore a pair of glasses on his face his maroon hair was cut short when he turned I saw his.....face? wait i....i feel like I know him I though and though then it hit me and I called out ``Doctor Seras'' I called out and came out of the woods he turned and saw me
As I got closer I could tell his green eyes were about the size of dinner plats ``Belle is that you?'' he asked as I got closer and I nodded ``yeah its me its so good to see you Doctor'' I say as he rubs the back of his head ``hehe well Belle I'm not a doctor I'm a Professor now `` he says as two new figures come out of the car a woman with long blue hair done up in a long ponytail ``oh Professor do you know this young man?'' she asked and Seras nods ``yes I do this is Belle his family has been friends with mine for a long time but we lost touch some yeas ago till now'' he says as we all head inside and into a meeting room with an amazing view of the small valley and rolling hills Seras offers me a seat as he steps out ``oh Chrysa mind calling up Talia and letting her know were going to need some extra food for lunch but tell her not to tell you know who about out Belle okay?'' he says before comeing back in ``okay well tell me Belle how have you and your family been?''
Some time later I finessed telling Seras about what had happened ``wow I must say Belle sounds like you have had a lot happen to you and your family this guy who you were working for sounds like a real peace of work but thankfully you and your family got away'' he says as a knock on the door pulled our attention as it opened a very pretty women stepped in her long maroon hair done up in a long pony tail a pair of dark rimed glasses sat on her face with bright green eyes she had on a pink short sleeved shirt over a long sleeved black shirt with black leggings I was about to say her name but she held a finger to her lips as Seras gets up ``good to see you Talia dear'' he says hugging her before sneaking in a quick smooch ``dad lunch is here'' came a voice from my past one I didn't know I would ever hear again
A young woman walked into the room she was about my height long maroon hair done up in a long braid with a flower like tie to hold it in place a pair of green eyes looked out she wore a simple pink t-shirt blue legging styled pants and pink slip on shoes as she holds up a bag of food ``okay we have the food but way did you ask us to get extra.....we...didn't'' she trails off as she turns her head ``see....any....other'' her eyes fall on me and they go wide as a hand comes up to cover her mouth ``B....Belle is that....is that you?'' she asked and I nodded ``yeah its me long time no see Chloe'' I say a bit sheepish as she puts the food and drinks down ``long time no see?......is that all you can say?......nearly ten years no letter's not phone calls for all I know you were'' she tried to say before she just ran at me and hugged me tight resting her head on my chest ``belle just pleas answer me this one thing are you and your family okay?'' she asked and I nodded ``yeah Chloe were just fine were safe now I'm not going any ware `` I say as the sound of one of the bags being shaken brings us both back to reality
As Chloe and I both look over as Seras and Talia smile ``how about you two take this food and go and catch up?'' Talia says as Chloe nods a bit later Chloe and I sat on a blanket on a hill close to the research lab I was surprised to find out that Chloe had two Fey-Kin of her own a female Eevee named Sammy and a Female Pikachu named Chi I introduced Chloe to Nari and Hikaru she loved the two of them right off the bat she then introduced me to Sammy her Female Eevee then to Joan her Female Pikachu who had a silver/blue heart on her tail by the tip that was heart shaped like all female pikachu's the two took a shine to me right away Sammy sat on my lap as Joan jumped up onto my head as Chloe giggled
A few week later I say in the garage of the manor with Ada as one of her helper drones moved an odd looking engine into the back of an old VVW Van the micro van had been fully restored by Ada and I along with help from the others ``okay and......stop lock it in and lets test it out'' Ada says and tosses me the keys ``do the honors Belle this was your project'' ``Hay its not just his project Kai and I found that Van at the club house'' Naru says paws crossed over his chest a bit of a huffy look on his cute face as Kai mirrors him ``yeah so if Belle gets to turen it on so do Naru and I'' he says and I chuckle ``okay okay you two come on up with me and we can turn the key together how's that?'' I ask as the two kitsune chu's nod as one and clamber up into the drivers seat with me as I slip the key in my mind wonders back to three weeks ago when Chloe Naru Kai and I found the now club house
Naru and Kai led the way as Chloe and I tried to keep up ``okay Naru ware are you taken us?'' I say as he looks back ``I'm not sure I picked up the strong scent of magic comeing from this woods so I had Kai go and get you and Chloe to come along besides were friends and we share all kinds of stuff'' he says as Kai chimes in ``and exploring is at the top of things to share in'' he says after a few more minutes of walking we came to a clearing and our jaws droped at what we saw it appeared to be a two story cottage it appeared to be made of local stone and wood in the old Galar style it even had a tall stone tower built right into the house as well as what looked to be an attached garage as I was about to take a step into the clearing Naru held out a paw ``hold on Belle i.....i didn't say anything earlier but we passed by a few magic wards and barriers who ever use to be out here didn't want this place found'' he says as I reach out with my own sense's I was surprised by how strong the flow of magic was in this clearing
After a bit of searching we found a key to the front door upon opening the door we were shocked by how modern it was on the inside and how species it was too the living room was larg with comfy looking sofa's and recliners with a large screen tv and a massive stone fire place the kitchen was larg as well dark wood cabinets and dark stone counter tops the dinning room that sat right next to the kitchen with a large round table with over stuffed high backed chair's as we were looking around I spotted a note on the counter picking it up I scanned real quick ``wow hay everyone I found some thing'' I say before reading the note aloud ``congratulations to who ever is reading this you have found my little cottage work shop well feel free to make this your home dad and I are going away he has found a lead to the location of one of the treasure's of Avalon love Lyra Croft PS if you want go to dads work shop in the main house in the den the vault code is 7692 good luck and may fortunes be in your favor'' the note ends
Back to the present I heard a knocking at the door turning I saw Chloe standing there jaw agape ``wow Belle I have to say you and Ada really worked fast this looks bran new'' she says as Ada nods ``yes we did put a lot of work into it mother and the others are done with the camper trailer as well its all updated from front to back'' she says pointing at the trailer that matched the van's color's of white and blue as Chloe's bracelet started to ring `` oh its dad'' she steps out to take the call as Ada and Henriette whisper to each other as I take a long drink of cold water ``well Belle I think you have a strong crush on miss Chloe'' Henriette says as I spit out the water ``what??? how did you???'' I try to say as the two walk away not saying anything as a new voice chimes in ``I believe the two of you will be spending lots of time together'' Yuki says walking by as a strong metal hand slaps me on te back ``HAHA so I made sure to put in extra sound proffing and made the bed extra big too HAHA two love birds need there nest HAHA'' Helga says as she and Yuki leave
My cheeks and face must have been so red that I looked like a Charmander or maybe a Fuecoco I'm not sure after pooring some of the cold water on my face I felt better just as Chloe came back in ``oh Belle ware did the others go?'' she asked and I just surged ``not sure I just know they headed out one you went out to take your call'' I say ad she nods ``well about that Dad wants too see the two of us at his lab so feel like a drive?'' she asked and I nod ``sure way not we can take my hover bike'' I say but Chloe shakes her head ``nope let's take this beauty instead?'' she says as I hold up the key's ``sure lets go'' I say as the two of us get in and I turn the key and the engine hum's to life looking over at her we both smiled as I pushed the power peddle we headed out into the sun light
We made it to the research lab in short order as Chrysa led Chloe and I to the meeting room when we arrived there were already two people waiting one was a boy around my age he wore a cap on his head turned backwards a male Pikachu sat on one shoulder looked to be whispering in his ear and looking at some playing cards the other person who sat across from the first had short dark hair same as the first person a pair of blue eyes looked over his cards a shiny Sylveon poped up over on shoulder and a Scorebunny poped up over the other shoulder whispering in his ears as well next thing I know the shiny Sylveon looks at the Scorebunny and the two start making funny faces at the other person and his Pikachu who's tail start's twitching and Chloe starts giggling next to me I cant help but join in a little
After a moment of this the first guy started to bust up laughing
After that we wee introduced the first guy was named Ash and his Fey-Kin partner Kit the other guy was his best fiend Goh and his fey-kin partners Pixy and Firefly the Sylveon named Pixy smiled ``nice to meet the two of you'' she says with a low bow as Firefly hops over and looks Chloe and I up and down ``hehe you know the two of you make a cute couple'' she says jumping away as Goh tries to grab her ``sorry about that she like to say what ever is on her mind'' he says as he finally get s a hold of the Scorebunny after everyone had a chance to clam down Ash spoke up ``well its very nice to meet you two I'm Ash and this is Kit we have been friends scene I was little'' he says and Kit nods before hopping into Ash's lap ``yeah Ash is so cool and super smart'' he says and Goh nods
After a few moments Prefacer Seras came in a stack of papers and a few data pads in hand ``good your all here'' he says placing the papers down and passing out the data pads to all of us ``okay now that were all here we can begin'' he says before he uses a remote and a TV screen slides down ``now I have been getting reports from a prefacer over in High Rule here name is Purah and she will be joining us by video chat now'' he says as the screen comes to life and the image of a beautiful white haired woman appears a pair of red rimed glasses sat on a small nose her red eyes scanned the room landing on each of us in turn ``ah Prefacer Seras its nice to see you again I see you took my advice and got yourself a new lab very good'' she says as Seras nods before he intradoses us to her
After that Prefacer Seras sits down ``okay now on to it Prefacer Purah has been filling me in on some odd happenings in High Rule places called Mystery Dungeon's'' she says as I see Chloe and Ash share a glance at Goh as he stands and Purah's eye brow raises ``miss Purah I do have a small bit of exprence with mystery dungeon's you see I went into one when I was five years old that was when I meet up with my partners that day'' he says as Purah takes a few notes before speaking again ``very well whatever you can bring to this mission will be valuable mister Goh but for now I need the four of you to get to castle town in High Rule there you can meet up with two explorers from The Wander Lust Guild one is a Vulpix named Sidra and a member from Team Maelstrom a shinx by the name of Malachi and his deputy an ice Vulpix named Rune `` she says before Seras chimes in
``but most importantly the four of you will need to hit the road day after tomorrow in order to meet up with them before the next Mystery Dungeon forms but your in luck we already know where it will form'' he says as a map appears on the tv screen ``and that place is here'' he says as a blue circle appears around a town called Misty Meadows ``okay this is the place it's called misty meadows a small resort city in high rule but thankfully it's the slow season right now so not many visitors''
After the meeting the four of us meet up at a small coffee shop down town close to the park we sat in a booth close to the back for privacy ``okay so we have a few steps here'' Chloe says unrolling a map on the table top ``okay were here in Arcadia Bay to the north now High Rule is to our south just past the white mountains thankfully its summer so the one pass over them will be open'' she says as Goh chimes in ``I know we will need supplies like food and water and maybe other stuff I can handle that part'' he says as Ash pips in ``and don't forget camping supplies tents sleeping bags'' he says as I shake my head ``no need for that I have a trailer that we can hall with the van `` I say as Ash and Goh look surprised ``wait wait so that's your van Belle?'' he asked and I nodded ``yup that's mine it's a classic'' I say as Ash chuckles ``hehe okay that is awesome Belle so now we just need sleeping bags just in case'' he says and I nod ``yeah that would be best I will have Ada add in bunk beds to the sleeping room so we all have a bed''
To say the next day was busy would have been an under statement Ada had modified the trailer made it bigger giving us more space to work as Helga gave the van a once over and added an extra row of seats and added some extra comes gear as Ash and Goh got the food and other stuff we needed
As the sun started to rise on our departure day the four of us stood outside of the research lab putting the last of the luggage in the van as Ash's mom Delia handed each of us a paper bag that a very testy scent from it ``hehe oh I just packed you four a little to go back with some treats a few croquette's and a breakfast burrito a long with some hash browns too I hope you enjoy'' she says and tassels my hair before hugging Ash my mom did the same hugging me ``be safe out thire son keep an eye on Chloe and the others they will be looking to you son'' she says as we all climb into the van before we headed out
The open road was amazing very little traffic as we left the city behind as Goh reach's over the back sat and hands me a CD ``hehe I made us a mix CD of songs for the road'' he says ``awwwww but we did too'' Ash and Chloe both say and hold up a CD as well I give a sheepish grin and hold up one as well ``hehe well looks like we all had the same idea `` I say and we all share a laugh after traveling for most of the day we finally got out first site of high rule castle and the large town more like city that had grown around it
As we pulled into town we saw people walking about a mix of humans high rule elf's and fur's after a bit of driving we found a parking lot that would accommodate our van and trailer ``okay from what It says on the note were to meet up at the fountain at the main squarer `` I say before slipping the note into my pocket as we walked we saw many sites shops selling all manner of things from clothing to toys for Fey-Kin as we walked we made it to a long boulevard lined with stall's for sellers
In the distance was the fountain as we got closer I was snaking on some kind of meat on a stick sharing some with Naru and Nari when I heard singing from my right turning my head I saw four fey-kin singing on a blanket Primarina Eevee Zorua and a fennekin the four of them sang with such heart and passion as the song ended I fished out some money and dropped it in a satchel the Primarina giggled and clapped her flippers together ``awwww thank you cutie I hope you enjoyed Team Song Birds performance''
she says as a tall woman comes by warring a performers outfit her hair was a dark blond but turned to an iridescent blue at the ends ``oh hello I take it you enjoyed my friends performance my names Serval'' she says before her and the fey-kin walk away as she turns a corner Goh and Ash both gasp as Chloe and I look at them ``Who?'' we both say and Ash and Goh go slake jawed but Goh recovers first ``what????? you mean you have never heard of Serval'' Goh says and that led to both Ash and Goh giving Chloe and I a full run down on who she was
as we finally made it to the fountain Ash and Goh had run out of tidbits of into on Serval and her band pulling out my data pad from my pocket ``okay so this Sidra is a female fire type Vulpix with two head fur bun's she will also have a Floette with her as well'' scrolling down I saw a picture of the four Fey-Kin who we were meeting seeing a pic of the Floette I saw that he or she held a black and ref flower it seemed odd to see something so dark and gloomy for such a cute fairy type Fey-Kin
coming around the side of the fountain I saw them sitting on a bench the one named Sidra was and the Floette were reading some trashy magazine together the ice Vulpix named Rune was enjying some kind of pink smoothie and the one named Malachi was reading a news paper as we got closer Rune looked up from her drink and waved us over as she nudged Malachi and Sidra ``oh well good looks like you four made it'' Sidra says hopping off the bench and padding over to us her Floette by her side as Malachi and Rune join her
a bit later I pulled the van and trailer into the parking lot of a rest stop just to the south of castle town as Malachi lets out a happy meow ``meowwwww its so nice to be out in the country and out of the noise of town `` he says as we all pile out and stretch as I walk around I think back to our meeting as we all introduced our self's Sidra's Floette who I found out was named Secret she had stopped at each of us but she spent the most time on me before touching her forehead to mine I heard Sidra Rune and Malachi let out gasps at this
Moments later we all piled into the trailer after grabbing some drinks and snakes from the minimart as Sidra walks out into the middle of the living room``okay now that were all settled in lets get down to it'' she says and places a four pointed star like device on the floor before touching the middle of it with a paw as a image appears in mid air ``oh my a mana way finder now that's a rare site to see Naru says from my shoulder as Nari shushes him as Sidra started ``okay everyone here is ware were going the town is called Misty Meadows it's a midsized city here in High Rule but this is our target'' she says and swipes her paw and as the site of a cave entrench appears ``this is the entrench to the Mystery Dungeon ``
Sidra's briefing paused a moment as Malachi took her place ``okay my turn our scouting teams made thire way into the dungeon to scout it they did not find much on the entrench level so past that we will be going into it blind'' Malachi says before stepping away and Rune taken his place ``now the place were going to is a suburb of Misty Meadows the locals call it Skip Town a place ware travelers vagabonds and others go to find a place to sleep or just a place to hide out'' she says ``but thankfully we have a contact a camp ground manager who will give us a spot to set up bass camp'' she says ending the meeting ``okay so how fast do we need to get to this place?'' I say as Malachi chimes in `` well from here we can get there before sun down the camp ground is close to a place called the skip towers just a small group of apartments `` he says
Some time later the sun was starting to dip behind the Misty Mountains a small mountain rang that helped to form the valley that misty meadows sat in the town spread out over most of the valley but it was not your typical city they somehow intergraded the city with nature itself as the sun was setting we reached the camp ground it was a cute place rather small and roomy as we reached the lodge Chloe Sidra and I got out as the manager came out to meet us
The manger was a tall older looking man maybe in his early 40's with a bit of extra padding around the middle but not much a wide brim hat shaded a soft round face a pair of blue eyes looked out from under a pair of well trimmed light copper eye brows as Sidra pads up to the man ``hello I'm Sidra from Wanderlust my guild master made a reservation for us'' she says and the man nods ``yes that's right a miss Misu called me last night and offered me a lot of gold to have my best spot open for you guys so its right down that way just past the mess hall dinner is served at 7 am to 9 am and dinner at 5 pm to 7 pm lunch not included'' he says and hands me a key ``that will unlock the power box hook your trailer up to the grid will keep you powered up for as long as you need it the Dew River is just down the hill from your camp site you can use it to top off your tanks'' he says and heads back into the lodge ``WOW that guy really friendly'' Naru says with sarcasm that erend him a swat on the head from Nari
Later that night we had our site all set up the trailer was hooked up and drawing power we were hanging out under the awning watching as the moon was raising when a figure approached out camp site as the figure came into the light we all saw that it was a sweet looking High Rule Elf woman she was tall slender long flam red hair up in a pony tail ``hello everyone I didn't see you all at the mess hall for dinner'' she says and pulls something from behind her back ``sooooo I made you all this'' she says and produces a large homemade pizza the smell was incredible it was covered in cheese tomato's and other veggies she even produced a pitcher of berry juice to say we all eat like kings and queens would have been an under statement the elf woman who we found out was name Ella even broth homemade lavender rosemary ice cream by the time we finished all of us were stuffed so we called it a night for the next day we start our first Dungun dive
