A new day was dawning for me it had been a few weeks scene I had started my training with Zenith well I found out that Zenith wasn't the only one in this pendant ``okay Belle form a ball of mana'' Zenith says standing close by in her true form a little white Cabbit critter her fure was a fluffy white with some deep blue/silver color on her ear and tail tip her paws were crossed over her chest as she stared at me with silver eyes as I formed the ball of mana ``very good now close your eyes and hold your hands open at your sides arms out a little ways from your body'' she says and I do as asked
Once I got set up like she had asked ``good now reach out with your sense's feel the mana flowing around us with the very air the ground the water the threes the very plant life'' she says and I nod as i take in a deep breath and spread out my sense's ``very good Belle now I want you to take small bits of that ball of mana that you made and I want you to find then mark the location's of any animals in this meadow but do it so you don't spook them'' she says I nod and get to work
After a bit the last ball of mana was placed it took me some time I almost spooked a mouse and a bird so not sure how he will grade me after all that after a few moments I felt Zenith's paw on my leg ``okay Belle open your eyes'' she says as I open them I see her smiling ``you pass Belle'' was all she said and I was hugging her as she laugh's ``hehe yes you pass Belle you did very good even wen I tried to spook that mouse and bird but you keep your cool'' she says
Later Zenith walked around the small meadow before she made her way to the flat rock I was sitting on ``okay Belle I think its time you meet your next teachers'' she says as I raise an eye brow ``teachers as in more then one?'' I say and she nods as the pendent glows with light next thing I know I saw two black footed ferret's standing on the rock beside Zenith and I one looked lean and fast a staff on its short back partly covered by a red cape a pair of sky blue eyes looked up at me the other one looked to have a bit of pug around its middle but not much a pair of steel gray eyes scanned the meadow ``Belle let me introduce you to Chirru'' she says sitting next to him ``he will be training you in the ways of Force Magic'' she says and stands next to the other ferret `` and this grumpy guy right here is Baze he will be training you in combat styles so'' she was about to say more wen Baze and Chirru step forward ``thank you Zenith but I think we can take it from here Chirru says ``yeah you did a good job training this kid in the ways of magic I can already tell he has some very strong talent'' Baze says and Zenith nods ``thank you boys I will leave Belle in your paw'' she says and disappears back into the pendent around my neck
Later that day I headed down the road to town on my hover bike Ada had made a few fix's on it from the last time I took it out slowing down a bit as I reached some light traffic as I reached a traffic light I slowed to a stop I heard a new sound as a new hover bike pulled up next to mine as I turned my head to look a silver and black hover trike pulled up the driver and passenger looked over at me he was a Dalmatian with brown in place of the black spots he's brown head fur was tied back in a pony tail I even saw brown eyes behind his riding goggles his passenger was a tall fox her face was pat way covered by a blue scarf a pair of bright blue eyes were behind asset of riding goggles
The hover trike looked amazing kind of bulky at first glance but with a closer look I saw that it was very fast the two front arm looking parts held the glowing hover wheels the arms also held a horizontal fin that helped with wind resentence the main power plant must have been housed in the middle of the bike the rear hover wheel was large the front rider called out to me ``hay nice ride don't see many solo rocket seats this days'' he says and I nod ``same to you never seen a hover trike before and I have to say you two make a great couple'' I say as the tall fox giggles ``hehe thanks he's my cutie boy'' she says and the driver blushes as the light turns green as they start to roll away the fox calles back ``take care little cutie you and your little friends are adorable'' she says as I make my turn to head to down town as Nari and Naru both blush as I join them
After a bit more driving I arrived at a hover bike parking lot finding a slot I sled inand the parking clamp's locked in holding the bike in place the parking terminal dispensed a parking card as I took it an add popped up for a new shop that had opened up a placed called ``Fare Haven'' I saw the address Nari and Naru perched on my shoulders ``oh that place sounds like fun'' Nari says ``yeah I bet we can find lots of cool stuff'' Naru says but then both of their stomachs growled flowed by my own ``hehe how about we get something to eat first before we go shopping'' I say and a map popped up on the terminal showing some eateries close by one got my attaching a placed called ``Tall Harbor Fish And Chip's'' looking at Nari and Naru both nod at me and both let out an adorable ``Naya''
A short walk later we found the place it was a big place with two stories of round dinning floor lots of placed to sit too as I waited in line to be seated I felt someone clap me on the shoulder turning I came face to face with the Dalmatian and the tall fox from the hover trike ``hayyyyy hover seat guy good to see you again'' he says as the tall fox hugs me ``hehe if I didn't know better i'd say you were stocking Lee and I'' she says and gives Nari and Naru some pets and scratch's before talking to them in some form of Fey speech after a moment the three of them started to laugh and the guy who I found out was named Lee but he liked going by Leo ``any clue what thire saying?'' he asked and I shack my head ``no maybe a word or two Fey speak is a bit hard to grasp'' Leo looked at me in surprise ``but you did pick it up a little that's still really cool'' he says as we reach the front of the line and a cute otter waitress greets us ``hello welcome to Tall Harbor how many in your party?'' she asked and Leo speaks up ``there are three of us'' he says after we say down in a very nice booth with an amazing view of the city all the way to the bay
As we talked and enjoyed the view I came to find out that Leo and Rena the gold fey fox were apart of Team Gambit the 11th ranked Koubo mecha team Leo gave me a crash course on the game some how you had to buy your mecha as a model kit put it together then either take it to a shop and place it in a magic device that remade it into fully working mecha or if your somehow lucky and have one of your own as our food came Rena told me about even more things about the sport that had expanded into teams having infantries tanks aircraft even a new type of mecha based on animals called Zoids's Rena taped her bracelet and a view screen appeared above it and she looked at me ``okay Belle hold up yours'' she says as I did the same the view screen popped up
As Rena smiles and flicks her finger the next thing I know the table top changes to a bird's eye view of a battle field Koubo's looked to be down and a hand full of foot soldiers were huddled around three koubo's that were behind a makeshift barricade made out of a sky blue and dark gray tank that had its turret trained down rang one had an auto rifle and was taking pot shots at a dark smoke cloud on the other side of the battle field the other had a sniper rifle and the last one held a shield down low giving cover to the remaining soldiers Rena spook up as I watched ``this video was shot by one of my spy drone's that my team and I developed'' she says just as a black and gold fox looking machine comes running out of the smoke a four barreled gantline gun on its back firing silver energy rounds at the defenders
As the weapons fire continued one of the defenders came out from cover holding what looked to be a lance like weapon he or she took a wide stance holding the lance forward next thing a flash of flame and the tip of the lance flow forward riding a jet of flam as the lance round came close to the fox mecha the shot exploded in a flash of light and smoke as the koubo's made a mad dash for the black and gold fox mecha
After our shard lunch Leo and Rena had to run off to a meeting with some sponsor as for Nari Naru and I we found our self's at the entrance to Fare Haven Naru perched on my shoulder ``wow this place looks so cool'' he says as Nari who I held in my arms nodded ``yeah this place is very impressive'' she says then looks up at me ``so lets head in'' I nod and reach out a hand to push the door open as I walk in the sound of party poppers going off as I get coverd in streamers and bits of confetti and so do Nari and Naru as a voice calles out ``congrats your our 10.000th customer `` came the cheery voice
Turning my head to the sourc of the sound I saw a very busty otter girl standing close to the door a few party poppers in hand as she blush's ``oh my stars looks like the poppers got all over you and your Fey-Kin here'' she reach's out and brush's the streamer's and other bits of the popper off of us ``well anyway the manager should be out soon she's just in back doing some custom paint work'' se says and offers me a seat in a high backed chair ``oh I'm Cindy by the way'' she says and I nod ``I'm Belle and this is Nari and Naru'' I say after a few minutes a rather busty human woman came out of the back room a can of beer in one hand a long smoking pipe held in her teeth a smear of blue paint on one cheek ``hay Cindy so is this the one who hit the mark?'' she asked and Cindy nodded ``yeah Clair this is Belle'' she says as Clair comes over and looks me over tucking a loss strand of blue hair behind one ear
After a moment she smiles tapping out her pip as she heads over to the counter reaching over and pulles out a large box and a small card ``okay kiddo here you go out super starter box and'' she says plasing the box done next to me ``and here is your free 100 gocha pulls card that you can use for a full year'' after all that I sighed up for a mailing list right before I made to leave Cindy stoped me and haded me a long box and whispered in my ear ``hehe a little something extra for you cutie that you can use with your models to play like they do on TV ``
Two months later I sat in the ready room my mecha pilot suit fit a bit snug on me ``you ready sister?'' came a voice looking to my left I saw him ``yeah Drifter I'm ready but'' I say trailing off ``oh and what's that's sister?'' he says ``well I'm still so new to this I mean I'' I try to say but Drifter just claps me on the back ``its okay sister just go out and have a blast I know you can do it Leo saw your score on the sim at that shop in town'' he says and I nod ``okay folks its time are you ready?'' came the call over the PA as I headed to the hanger
You see this all started about a week after I had gone to that shop Naru Nari and I had been having fun with the models we had from the pack Naru had taken a likeing to the shield Liger as for Nari she fell in love with a standard Koubu F type the two of controlled then with a controller as for me I had built a very cool mark 11 type S Zaku 2 it was armed with a Gatling shield with a heat sword but later that day I had gone back to the Fare Haven shop as I head in Cindy greets me with a smile ``hi Belle nice to see you again'' she says and hops over the counter and gives me a warm hug ``hehe nice to see you too Cindy hows it going?'' I ask as she smiles ``hehe yeah its going good just saw Leo and Rena a bit a go they were looking for some more parts for Leo's Koubu Kai to help it move faster'' she says then looks at me ``so what can I do for you today mmmmmm?'' she says eyes half lidded I blush at the scent of her perfume like lavender and rose's as I hold up my gotcha card her eyes go wide ``ohhhh I see you want to test your luck hehe okay right this way'' Cindy shows me the way to a set of booth's with long curtains
After Cindy had showed me how to work the machine she left me be holding up my gotcha gift card I held it up to the reader and it let out a happy chime and the screen changed with a ``welcome'' scrolling across the screen then a main menu came out with a list of banner's that I can pull from one was called ``Stealth'' one was called ``Bests of Land'' one was called ``Angels Of The Battlefield'' and the last one caught my eye it was titled `` Fairy's Of Hope''
After I did a few pulls from some of the banners and came away with a petty awesome hall as I was getting ready to close out I saw a flashing light coming from a new banner a fifth one had appeared it was called ``Avalon's Destiny'' the name got my attaching thinking about my magic scabbard a dual artifact one was given to me and one to my brother Leon reaching out I tapped the screen to bring up the new banner as it came up it showd an island with a tall tower with a Unicorn on one side a Banshee on the other and flying just in front of the tower was a Pegasus reaching out I tapped the screen to start the gotcha pull
Snapping myself back to the present I sat in the cockpit of my Koubo the safety straps held me close to the standing seat looking over the read outs again I saw that every thing was set mana charg was at full thrusters were primed mana energy was flowing to all the right places and being funneled back in weapons were set beam magnum rifel was at full charg with three spare charge packs shield was set on the left arm just then my comes window light up and drifters face appeared on it ``okay sister are you all set and ready if we win this then we move on to the class S and the season starts this fall are you ready?'' he asked and I nodded ``yeah lets do this'' I say as the lift elevator starts to move
