Day 20 of CuteGirlTober2024 turned fashion study - Isekai
Isekai is basically the Japanese term for "another world." In isekai anime, the protagonist is teleported or reincarnated into a different world. Usually there are video game elements such as skills, stats, levels, and such but these aren't required. Western stuff that is similar are the Narnia series, Alice in Wonderland, more recently Owl House or Space Jam. The actual genre can vary from battle/adventure, romance, or slice of life. While it didn't really have the term "isekai" back then, my first anime isekai was probably Digimon.
While not always, stereotypically the "other world" the protagonist finds themselves in for isekai is your generic medieval fantasy world of dragons and elves and everything.
So my initial thought was to look up medieval clothing. Yeaaaah, not quite as fantasy like. Then I figured Ren Faire. Apparently isekai is as close to ren faire as ren faire is to medieval fantasy. But it was at least a start!
So partly based on what other isekai did and partly based on what I knew about hiking attire, I ended up with this. I think it's kinda my weakest design since I wasn't as inspired, but it works.
And she's a rat terrier. For no reason but that I hadn't done one yet, haha.
Also, please be forgiving for the dagger and the magic spell being formed. XD
