As I mentioned in my previous video, we're trying something completely new with this YouTube channel.
I mentioned before how we want to start bringing you interesting and engaging voice narration for this channel, as well as get into narrating comic books to really help bring them to life in new and interactive ways.
But one thing we definitely want to try is a new segment on the channel called Sonic and friends.
Here, you'll get to hear your favourite characters brought to life by ElevenLabs voice editing software and have them read funny stories, blogs or reddit posts in new and interesting ways.
It should be really entertaining. Anyway, here's a sneak look at the very first episode.

Okay...
Hey everyone. Sonic the hedgehog here, and welcome to a brand new podcast we're creating called "Sonic & Friends".
Every episode, myself and a bunch of friends will be getting together to narrate funny stories off the internet for your own amusement.
This can be anything from reddit posts about crazy stories involving puberty, stalking, crazy ex break up stories or hell, whatever we can find out there that's guaranteed a good chuckle.
One of us will play the reddit poster asking for advice about life, love or relationship problems and the other members of the crew will all roleplay as the reddit users and respond.
Beyond that, we'll also be narrating some funny stories down the line, talking about life or just letting our hair down and shooting the shit in the form of a fun podcast.
So with that out of the way, let's all introduce ourselves!

Tails:
Oh my god, Yes! I love Lee Jung Suk!! Every drama he's in! He's like the king of K Drama!

Hi everyone. I'm Tails.
I'm 8 years old now and I've been Sonic's Co-star in the series for just over 30 years now.
I... wait... that's not right...
Anyway, random fact about me. I have serious OCD and I absolutely hate it when people touch my things.
If I see even one bolt or screwdriver out of place I just seriously lose it!
Sonic:
It's true. I've seen it. Knuckles touched his movie collection once. It took over 30 minutes to calm him down.
Knuckles:
I said I was sorry didn't I?
Sonic:
Seriously, I'd never heard Tails swear like that. It was intense!
Knuckles:
He called me a fucking vegetable and told me to go mop floors in a supermarket.
Tails:
Well you shouldn't have touched my steelbooks!!
Knuckles:

Tails:
All of them, Sonic! Every single one! ...Except Jennie Kim. I'm not really a Jennie Kim guy.
Knuckles:

Because, she's always being a bitch to the other members, and she kinda looks like a man.
Sonic:
What!? No she doesn't! Dude, Jennie Kim is hot!
Tails:
I'm just saying. She's kinda sus, y'know?
Sonic:
Dude, you don't know what your talking about! Jennie's awesome!
Tails:
She's not on the same level as Rosé anyhow. Everyone knows the group is just carrying her.
Sonic:

Finally! Ok, hey guys. I'm Knuckles. I've been co-starring in this series for about 30 years now... I was even the most popular character back in the 90's.
Sonic:

Knuckles:
Since Sonic 3! Remember, the McDonald's toys? The edgy marketing? I was the main attraction back in the day.
Sonic:
Dude, the game was called "Sonic 3".
Knuckles:
Yeah tell that to the millions of kids who made me their favourite character.
Sonic:
Whatever...
Knuckles:
So anyway... a random fact about me...
I actually can't stand Ruben Paul's Drag race.
Tails:
WHAT!?
Knuckles:
Can't stand it! Everywhere I go. "Hey Knuckles. Do you watch Drag Race?" "Did you watch Drag Race last night?" "Did you check out Drag Race?"
No! I'm so sick of hearing about this show. I could care less about Drag Race!
Tails:
So, what shows do you watch?...
Knuckles:
Honestly? ...I don't even watch shows anymore.
I'm subscribed to so many people on YouTube now it's impossible to keep up.
Sonic:
Oh, tell me about it. I don't even do streaming services anymore.
Knuckles:
I know right? What's the point?
Tails:
Yeah I did Disney plus for a while but all of their new movies are just plain garbage now.
Sonic:
Oh, don't even get me started on Disney...
Knuckles:

A fact? Well... contrary to popular belief, Sonic and I are not dating. We're just good friends.
But a fact about me... Well, people say I can be a bitch in supermarkets because I refused to wear a face mask, but whatever. The vaccines were all fake anyway.
Sonic:
Wait, you never got vaccinated?
Amy:
No. Never! If Trump says the vaccines are ineffective then why should I have to take them? I have my rights!
Tails:
Wait. You support Trump!?
Sonic:
Yeah, what gives? I thought you were Hillary's biggest supporter back in the elections.
Amy:
Do you even "Know" me Sonic? I've always been a republican. My father was a republican, my grandfather was a republican. Every single person in my family is a strict republican!
Knuckles:

Cream:
Well... I really like acting, and I'm currently going to be in a play called "The Trojan Women".
Playing at the Brava Theatre Centre on 24th Street.
Amy:
Wait... you're in that play? Isn't that one of the biggest women's theatre groups in the state?
Cream:
Right. And we're doing a musical adaption of Trojan Women, only with a more diverse cast and a story about women overcoming male oppression and hypocrisy.
Amy:
But it's a story about the bondage and suffering of countless women during ancient Greece. You're turning that into a musical!?
Cream:
Right. We're going to have a completely diverse cast, The LGBTQIA+ community will be involved. It's going to be a great performance.
Amy:
In San Francisco, that doesn't surprise me...
Sonic:

Well hello everyone. I'm Vanilla Rabbit. I'm Cream's mother and I've been in the acting business on and off for about 20 or 30 years now.
Camera-man:
How do you feel about your daughter acting at such a young age?
Vanilla:
Well, at first I was unsure about it, but after losing so many kids in my recent divorce settlement I thought, I'm not losing this one as well, so I decided to go along with it.
Cream:
Momma's even helping me with the recent play!
Vanilla:
That's right, dear. I'm a good mom.

Sonic:

Well let's see. I grew up in Rhode Island originally, although my family is actually from Canada. I studied performing arts in Brooklyn and moved to California in my 20's to study dance...

Big:
Huh?... Oh, yeah. It's funny. We actually met when we co-starred in Sonic Adventure, 20 years back. Turns out we have a lot in common.
Sonic:

Big:

Tails:

Knuckles:
You know what... I'm not knocking it. It's a different time. Who says Cats and Frogs can't be together.

Please Sonic, We've known each other for decades now. You can call me Ivo off set if you like.
Sonic:

So Ivo, tell us a little about yourself.
Eggman:
Well let's see... I studied Law at Harvard before getting into acting at an early age. My parents didn't approve and wanted me to study Law but I said, "A man's gotta be free to spread his own wings once in a while."
Just because my father has connections at Harvard doesn't mean I HAVE to study law. I wanted to go to Juilliard and be a performer.
I remember the look my mothers face. She even threatened to cut me out of the will and said they'd never accept a Jew in Hollywood. Boy, how wrong "SHE" was. Oi Vey!
Knuckles:
Wait, you're Jewish!?
Eggman:
Yes I'm Jewish. Don't you know anything about me, Nerples?
Everyone in my family is Jewish. My parents, my siblings... well, except for my one half brother who decided to start his own vegan cult. Ezra his name is.
You might of heard of him actually. He plays the flash in the DCU.
Tails:
Wait... Ezra Miller is "Your" brother!?
Amy:
"THE" Ezra Miller!? The same Ezra Miller who groomed a teenager, started a harem cult and constantly gets into fights with his own fans!?
Eggman:
Yes. The same. He's also the same Ezra Miller who never calls his family or visits us during the holidays, but we don't need to talk about that ego maniac.
Sonic:

You may have seen me star alongside my co-host in a few popular games. Sonic Rush... Oh everyone loves Sonic Rush...
Eggman:
Excuse me!? Co-host? I'm the star villain of this franchise, bud.
Eggman-Nega:
Oh please. Every other game you're playing second fiddle to some other actor. Chaos, Infinite, the Deadly Six...
Eggman:

Yeah they've been letting nostalgia carry the brand for a while now. Honestly I'm starting to worry we're becoming just as bad as Disney.
