Now what kind of demon doesn't have minions to carry out their will? Lapis and Opal are twin sisters who originally served on a trading vessel Malphesto and his group had to go out and raid directly. Skimming over the fine details, t was an absolute shit show for a band of evil beings who are, by all means, the leaders of a dungeon filled with imps to do their bidding. For Malphesto, it was the worst night of his life. Wouldn't it be for anyone who gets caught in a steamboat's rear propeller blade? Suffice to say, it proved a ripe time to pull a mechanic; go feral.

Every Wicked One has a "Dark Impulse", something that drives them forwards and sometimes, lands them in deeper shit OR might save their life. Malphesto's Dark Impulse is Obsession. And that night, on that boat, he went feral, obsessing over leaving with something for himself. He was able to enslave two otter sisters, and bring them back to the dungeon. When Kevtia preformed her ritual, Malphesto did his... And turned the twin sisters into the very first ever dark reflection of Kevtia's holy maidens. They were the very first Dark Magical Girls.

Lapis, the younger twin, has magical daggers that she can use with the finesse of a sushi chef, easily removing skin and flesh from bones. However, she also plays a very important role in Malphesto's cult. With her Pinkie Pie levels of energy and chaos, she's more than able to rile up a crowd into a song number, or at least show off as a performer. Her role for her Master's goals is to round up people to come to the rebuilt church of Kevtia the dungeon was built under, to gather faithful and would be faithful to attend one of the tainted and corrupted sermons of the Goddess's faith, where he'd steal it for himself while planting his own twisted views of love and sex.

Once they come to the church, that is where Opal comes in. While her sister is energetic and bubbly, Opal is more stoic and frosty, only allowing her passion to show as she preaches her Master's faith, disguised as Kevtia's own. She has the same gift of the gab as her little sister, able to hold focus on her and her words during a sermon. Though, where Lapis uses her energy to draw attention and get others to join in, Opal makes certain she commands the room, both by her raw charisma and just a bit of magic. Should she ever be pressed into a battle, however, she can instantly summon a rainbow (Yes, a LITERAL rainbow, emphasis on 'bow') and a never ending supply of prismatic arrows.

Their loyalty and obedience to Malphesto is absolute, and they are eager to serve him in any manner his dark heart desires.
