Here's the start of a short new series, with some of my characters in Sonic-inspired super forms! Just like in Sonic stuff, they need the Chaos Emeralds for these. This whole thing was inspired by an RP I did a while back where Blubby got one.

Firstly, Blubby: Appearance-wise, he now has wings and light blue horns, and those lighter lines on him move over his body like caustics underwater. Also, it's not visible here, but his feet are webbed.

In addition to heightened durability and speed, Blubby can now swim through usage of his wings and webbed feet! He can't fly with those wings, though.

His lungs are perpetually half-full like this; he can infinitely inhale and exhale, and the air inside him stays fresh. The durability of his bubbles is also improved, doubling their maximum size.

UPDATE: Decided to make a quick description of a hyper form for him, which uses the super emeralds.
His body now looks to actually be made of solid, near-opaque water (not ice). His wings are bigger and allow flight, and his bubbles now only pop if he wants them to, thus no longer having a maximum size.

UPDATE 2: Decided on a method for him to go into this form without the emeralds: By inhaling a very rare huge magic bubble found in the ocean. Those have so much oxygen in them it makes him dizzy for a while.
