Somewhere in the ocean is an odd little shrine, holding a powerful magic sword, Hydrogladius... And it's a little tired of waiting for a wielder. It knows with absolute certainly that it'll recognize its wielder the moment it sees them, though it has no idea who it could be. Someday they'll arrive, but until then, the sword has a rather boring existence, its only real entertainment being passing fish and the rare diver it has a telepathic conversation with. It's eager to see what it's like above the surface, having been forged and enchanted underwater before being stuck into the pedestal it's in.
