Dame and her boys grew up on the border of Mississippi and Alabama. In a tiny dead in the mud town that does not even exist anymore. The place was surprisingly cosy however and a very clean community for being 50 people in a field practically. Dame herself grew up wandering the countryside and rural areas as well as often biking over to "small towns" that were so much bigger and interesting.
She loved travelling, loved seeing what was outside of her little hole in the ground... But she was poor as dirt.
Just about every child in that town was being groomed to leave, with as much education and practical know how as they could fit. Dame was even a bit of a child star in that regard, smart and witty more so than most of her backwater friends. The problem was that she cared little for law and just wanted to have fun though, a baa'd influence through and through but that made her cool to the others...
Caine and Sugah are younger than her, and have always looked up to their 'older sis' She's fun, and pretty and has made their life an adventure to say the least.
In her mid-teens, before she was even properly done with high school, she stole a motorbike and left the town. It was exciting, and rough, and difficult and great. An adventure on the road, true freedom from it all. But her boys are not as rough and tumble as her, they like the particulars as they say. So she needed more. They started out small, scams, stealing from small family stores, nothing that would get them remembered. But it was too small, too day to day with the expenses. Dame wanted some luxuries too. She wanted to feel like more than the smallest girl from the smallest town.
Along the highway they went to a bigger town, with bigger things to steal and drink, and it was there they found their home. Well, there was not much of a home town left. The highway paved straight through, leaving a gas station and a motel. They were the first places they ever really robbed, trashed them floor to ceiling just for good spirits and old times.
And from there they just continued to roll along with it all.
