Arty and Tuemescine have been visiting this arcade for a long now, playing games and winning prizes. They’ve spent countless quarters trying to win plushies on the claw machine. Today, however, is different. Arty has been planning this moment for weeks, carefully selecting the bear and customizing its t-shirt to ask the most important question of his life. With a racing heart and a playful grin, he pushed Tuemescine to catch that specific teddy bear.
Little did Tuemescine know that this wasn’t just about winning a plushie, it was about winning a lifelong partner.
Picture for Arty and Tuemescine, the question was asked during Megaplex. He said yes! They even recorded a video of that moment, when even the picture as a canvas print was given: https://x.com/Tuemescine/status/1830038357100892227

That turned out cute. The characters appear to be so enthusiastic.
A little about claw machines though: Those claw machines are a rip-off. To start with, the mechanisms in those claw machines that draw the claws shut are made weak on purpose so they drop the prize while still in the machine. And most of the plushies in those machines are the lowest grade cheapest crap and stuffed with sawdust...and costing 20 cents to make in countries like Taiwan, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Shipping cost is probably more than the item itself. Arty and Tuemescine have probably spent over $30 in quarters trying to win a 20 cent plushie made by workers getting paid 14 cents per hour in what ever country it came from.

Hm, custom plush with shirt in a claw machine…. Yeah only way this makes sense is he worked with arcade staff and got the plush himself. This is more about an experience (and awesome arcade staff that was willing to work with him) vs cost benefits here.
Side note on claw machines being weak or strong. That is up to the arcade operators to set themselves so it really varies place to place and is not an all or nothing thing anyways. (Cost to play also is adjustable, so I’ve seen places the other way of guarantee win but the price is higher)
