It is the year 1915, and the meerkat, driving the steam tractor and wagon is a sharecropper in Angola, Africa.
He is hauling a load of tobacco after the landlord was given his share.

In the background is the railroad tracks that the dirt road runs parallel to.

The part of the steam tractor in the drawing, a white flower in the foreground, and the small firewood pile on the front of the wagon are from a photo I took in Montana. Everything else in the drawing was drawn by me.

How about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVRO6GAfvzA? I also remember reading how when this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfIAKj3Gl1E epic series was digitally restored they didn't censor the smoking and some complained.

My dad remembers as a regional rugby player in the 60s and 70s all the tobacco advertising in sports, he was a pioneer being one who never smoked, one of my uncles died nearly 2 years ago from cancer.

I never smoked.
