this can possibly happen, but let them at least have a tiny bit of fellowship between each other, i still do not see that.

It is indeed. And don't forget, Nigel and Leo are the only ones of the group that were from Generational Guardian Families. They were almost REQUIRED to follow in their parents footsteps. Nigel's story was pretty cut and dried so we know why he's angry and resentful but Leo's still somewhat of a mystery. It's HIS story I want to see revealed because while I'm sure it's not good he got traumatized in ways we can't even imagine and it damaged him as bad or worse than Nigel.
I don't know if they could ever be friends but maybe they can gain a bit of mutual respect and understand what each of them went through to make them what they are.

hmmm. you can be right, but now there are too much barriers, and frankly, leopold seems the guy that don't give a precious shit about «dead weights», like:
tristan... nimble, agile, helpful and the one that saved them from freezing in the snow.

the tree said something puzzling, but it's implied that nigel has some hidden talent.
maybe, when/if zummeng will show us what is the meaning of those words, leopold will accept nigel as a mate... :-/

about leopold past... i suspect we have to wait longer for the truth about that family trauma (if ever)

I'm hoping the two of them can, they're the true core of the group. Also The Tree has always considered Nigel, even more so that her adopted daughter Miralle, is her favorite guardian. She loves Miralle absolutely and believes in her and her abilities but has always held that it's Nigel who will if not "save the day" be instrumental and vital to whoever it IS who does.
Those are just my opinions though so take them as you will. :)
Also thank you for the discussion, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. :)

i have always find these 4 pages like a foreshadowing of the future. zummeng use that image as symbolic of the group,
and how all the five «ingredients» fits together in shaping the perfect, most delicious burger. i know, this IS a wild speculation, but for me luna's vision of the future needs that the group of 5 will act as 1 if they can hope to defeat rah'jan.

Exactly. A true team needs time to grow and learn about each other. These 5 are no different and if they have any luck, which I suspect they do, they will learn to trust each other. It might be painful for Nigel and Leo, especially once they realize WHY it's painful, but I suspect they're gonna come out of this so much better than when they started. For me this is where the journey REALLY starts, cause once they find what's in that cave they won't have time to dwell on past problems. At least not the way they use to.
And you're English is fine. I'm curious what your native language is though cause you do have a good grasp of the English language. :)
