Well taking away somebody's eyesight is unnecessary, she can't tell me there would not have been other options. this is just cruel, and it's not a punishment to learn somebody a lesson.

First, If the outcome will be something else, that nobody expects, that's entirely up to the artist, and I will accept the outcome. Until then it's my own opinion like you have yours, and I am allowed to make any assumption I want. So don't tell me what I can do or not, you're not my dad, everybody has his own opinion, luckily. I can certainly understand being empathic to other's situations, but there is always context too that needs to be considered. Nothing happens in a vacuum, and that is especially true when it comes to relationships.
