You can draw like two or three times a month, there's nothing wrong of drawing less or focusing on drawing when you are in the mood than force the grind.

Not much of anything would be gone, but I'm not quite there. lol

If I unalived, I'd do it in a civilized way, through euthanasia. Alas, there's a waiting list that's years-long and I don't think my State does it. More significantly, I've been told I'd go to Hell if I did that. My thoughts on this are mixed, but I'm not at the point where risking it is a temptation. So I'm here, for better or for worse. ^^

Shame I can't really see any of these. Don't be so hard on yourself. Like me. I'll admit I am my own worst enemy (and I shouldn't be). But just know that my actions, or thoughts mean well & are genuine. At least, I try to be. When I say I love your artwork, art style & what you do with your OC's & comics. I mean that.

WOW, thanks for allowing us to see the comics, its an honor. Not gonna lie, with the first one, I expected to at least see gene over his moms knee, with the comic ending before the spanking started, but its still cute without that. Thank you. I've been a deer in headlights lately; I haven't internalized everything that's happened yet.
I've not written anything about it here, but things have happened at a breakneck speed (in short, others have taken over both my life and my house). I'm drinking more, too, which I confess isn't helping---in fact it's giving excse to those who're taking over right now given my inability/unwillingness to do what I need to. It's in God's hands so far as I'm concerned.

Once I'm over this (and I will be, presuming I'm not called home in the meantime), I'll have some regrets to face. I'll get over those, too, somehow. It's times like this I'm grateful for mortality---everything ends (everything).

Just as an addendum, since my art was mentioned, I'd long ago been told something by someone who knew me IRL, that's stuck with me all these years, though I've never taken action to change it.

I was told that my art and my personality are contrary---I draw the cutest, sweetest things, yet I am/was the most cynical and depressing person they knew. That remark (paraphrased as it is) comes to mind every time I feel down when drawing. Maybe some errant, subconscious part of my brain is proud of it. I don't know.

I did chuckle a bit :) Thus, I deem this worthy commiting to illustration, recently I got not too enough chances to be cheer and yet you manage to do so.

I find it sweet that Gene's Mom sees Mimi as his girlfriend.

Giant's eye perspective is hard - don't feel bad you didn't get it! True, there are harder things to draw (fish-eye perspective, for one), but your attempt (or rather, what can be seen of it) doesn't look bad at all.

I hope you're all right, some of the comments you've made are concerning. If you feel the need to talk, I, too, can be reached to.

I approached the GEP by drawing the heads and placing the limbs/tails where it made sense to see them. I have PVC figures of characters I use as 3D, IRL models when I need a reference. I looked straight down on it and that is what I saw. It is 'wrong' to me because I drew it. There may be some actual technical reasons, but foremost is because 'I' drew it.

For fish-eye, I'd just draw on a curve and avoid straight lines. I've never tried it myself and don't see any use for the effect in what are essentially Sunday-comic strips, but that's where I'd start.
