how very fitting, chapter 4 and the first arc ends the day after Stoneheart's 4th year anniversary. Man this chapter kicked my ass as i felt some pretty bad burnout around halfway through. Which is why the hiatus in before chapter 5 is gonna be another two months one, this'll give me time to just chill while working on the pages. Plus i've started taking on a very limited amount of commissions, so the more time i can take for that i'll need lmao. In fact, if i need to i may even extend the hiatus to after the summer, but i'd rather not. Therefore, 10th of July is the preliminary date to kick off chapter 5. Don't write it down however as it may change, but at the same time it may not! We shall have to see what my mental health say, even i don't know what neurotic bitch is up to ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I thought of a different alternate ending scenario that doesn't involve a military intervention. I noticed in Chapter 4 - page 31, Salina brings the food and wine for Shomari. Salina and one of the striped hyena medical healers hatch a plot to poison Shomari. The medical healer provided Salina with an odorless poison to put into Shomari's wine. Salina later serves Shomari his meal along with the wine that she had spiked with the poison. Within 25 minutes of drinking the wine, Shomari dies. With Shomari dead, and no leadership among his army, their moral rapidly deteriorates, and what was once his army disbands. The Aardians, Sha-eellans, Caracal Sun Worshipers and others released the Fennics, then started heading back home. This was about the time the Taruki military with it's advanced military weapons showed up to liberate the Fennics. At first, the Fennics thought they were in for another attack, until the Master Top Centurion Fadius Lion, in charge of the campaign (an African lion), convinced the Fennics they had come as friend and not foe. "We had thought Shomari had conquered you Fennics", the master top centurion said to the Fennics. Lord Anther replied, "Shomari did conquer us, and murdered our king. But one of his harem girls poisoned him with the help of a medical healer". General Fadhi added, "You can still see the last remnants of Shomari's forces from here packing up to go back home". The master top centurion requested, "Who is this harem girl who took down Shomari? I would like the opportunity to meet her...and the medical healer who helped her". With that said, Salina and the medical healer were taken to see the centurion. After the centurion was introduced with Salina and the medical healer, the centurion said to them, "The two of you accomplished what we were about to do with the whole legion of soldiers and the weapons you see before you. I congratulate both of you. My respect for both of you has been well earned. Thank you. Both of you". Salina then noticed a lieutenant senior grade among the ranks of the Taruki military campaign. "Who is that polecat with the cape? He's cute", Salina asked as she pointed him out. "He's Alexander Polecat. One of Deputy Centurion Cyrus Hyena's lieutenant senior grades", the master top centurion replied. "May I speak with him?", Salina asked. "Yes you may", the centurion agreed, being thankful for not having to engage in a war campaign. Master Top Centurion Fadius Lion told Deputy Centurion Cyrus Hyena that Salina wants to meet Lieutenant Senior Grade Alexander Polecat. Deputy Centurion Cyrus Hyena called to Alexander Polecat, "Lieutenant Alexander Polecat. That harem polecat girl who took down Shomari wants to meet you". Alexander Polecat replied, "Okay, Sir. Heh heh. I'm certainly flattered". Lieutenant Alexander Polecat was about the same age age as Salina, and a very handsome male polecat at that. Alexander stepped down off his chariot upon Salina's approach. After they introduced, they talked for bit. During that conversation, Alexander and Salina began having feelings of love for each other. After their meeting, the Fennic Royal staff agreed to let Salina stay at the palace so Alexander can return to her. Lord Anther even remarked, "We're not about to stand in the way of true love". Master Top Centurion Fadius Lion then announced, "Our job is done here. Let's head on home". The regiment let out with a loud, "Hurrah!" Fadius Lion then gave the orders, "About face...Move out".

i doubt that this can be labeled «good end», a silly smiling salena is not enough, especially after the last two pages and what is implied in the queen's last words in this one;
but
i'm enjoying how you are closing this part of the graphic novel in a classical way, ending in parallel a chapter of esther's life (and the whole book for her mother). open road for new settings, characters, adventures. we will be ready :-P

Thank you so much for the comic but please... don´t stress yourself! We can whait way longer for the next pages even if it is super exciting... after all you are a comic pretty sure most of us read for the story and worldbuilding... and not like other Furry comics just for the yes^^ Especialy since you show a dark fantasy world as it would be... with all the evil and cruel stuff that would happen there... sadly most artists don´t dare that and make their stories to soft or show just the light side.
And it is so much fun to love and hate your characters here.. to conspire in the coments or think how your own OC or Fursona would react in some situations or if you are based in a fantasy setting as well what you would do if Shomari would knock at your tribes door. (And you as a beutyfull female leader and Priestess have the "fuck him or try to kill him" choice^^)
As a fun fakt... I play a Sci Fi furry RP with some friends for years now and since I needed a name for a new Dire Wolf Class Dreadnought since they are all namend after Wolf characters and I have tun out of them and had little time the UGS Shomari is currently under construction.... pretty much expect the captain to start a rebellion later and try to conquer the universe or something like that so... not sure if that little joke I made there could hunt me in the future since our DM now also reads your comic. XD
