We don't really have fireflies where I live. I remember seeing a single one in our garden at some point in my childhood.
When Stani and I spent some time out in the grapes, not too far from where I live, I was very delighted to see a lot of them buzzing around us. That was a beautiful night.
When we thought of commissioning this scene, I noted that my halo would probably attract a lot of insects.
