This artwork was inspired by a beautiful sunset on Gibraltar. The sun was just about to set on the mainland's mountain range in the distance and its reflection in the calm ocean was stretched out all the way form the near shore to the far one. The view from pretty much anywhere on the "Rock of Gibraltar" is absolutely gorgeous and I've dreamt of diving off its cliffs and sailing out above the ocean. I hoped to capture some of those feelings in this artwork and I think the artist did a great job of that.
