also, like the 'unforgivable' in the second panel. Wrong, of course, she's totally forgivable in this situation.

A deceptively complex page that repays careful reading.

Panels 3-4 are heartbreaking again. I'm not sure I interpret panel 3 as his actual actions, or as her wishful thinking, so show what she's lost in panel 4 as all her supporting strings are snapped.

"All right, Mr. DeMille. I’m ready for my close-up."
