Wet, a word so slippery for all the ways it semantically shifts. Sometimes, wet is nothing but wonderful, be it taking a soothing shower after a hard day’s work, or making a big splash in the swimming pool to beat the scorching heat. Other times, wet is just whatever, whether the unremarkable routine of washing one’s hands, or the need to drink the water whose taste doesn’t always leave much to talk about. And, there are times when wet is just plain unpleasant, such as sudden rain storms drenching the outdoors, or unexpected spills that leave clothes stained and sopping. Not only that, when youngsters and blossoming big kids encounter that word while in bed, it often brings dejection and shame…
But, in the case of babies who don’t gotta worry one bit when they gotta go, wet is more wondrous than even those renowned showers and swimming pools, for the diapers around their waists give them such a special relationship with that word.
PSSSSSSSSSSHHH!!!
After ample amounts of apple juice, Emmett is quick to show what makes wet worthwhile as he begins to empty his bladder. Standing still amidst this soaking, the boy’s body not the least bit tense as he simply vibes in babyhood’s bliss, if there’s one takeaway from the toddler’s number one, it’s that amongst the most innocent, wet means a word with nothing but the most soothing semantics……relaxation. Compared to the number twos those tiny tykes are often tied to, that multi-step process of squatting and pushing, that significant strain and tension just to dump the stinkier stuff into their diapers, the only requirement of this release is to relax and let the bladder do its business, something the easy-going Eevee is more than used to.
PSSSSSSSSSSHHH!!!
As if Emmett’s minimal effort doesn’t already make wetting his diaper wonderful, the sounds of his soaking only supplement this sentiment. Unlike the boisterous noises preceding his poopies, which while nothing short of silly, are so loud and abrupt, the soft and gently progressing tempo from peeing his pampers is nothing but soothing as hissing persists. Truly, it’s so sublime how a deed often denoted as disgusting has a certain serenity that those not in diapers can acknowledge, for even the sounds of the strongest soakings can instill the lovely sight of waterfalls into more imaginative minds.
“Hehehehe!”
So too does the Normal-type tyke have a sight to see as things start to get silly. Watching his diaper swelling up and sagging down, giggles and glee follow his opening of the floodgates, for what petit proponent of potty humor wouldn’t find it funny to see their once plain and pristine pampers become a big and bloated water balloon? For the boy who barely knows how his bladder works, seeing those silly shifts in his diaper’s size makes his soaking such a spectacle, and when paired with not having to push to produce this result, wetting feels way more magical compared to those poopier messes.
Ah, but while the kid’s deed is colloquially called number one, there’s more than one silly sight in store! Putting all that apple juice to good use as the stream has still yet to subside, Emmett starts decorating his diaper a lovely light yellow, eliciting a satisfied smile from the peeing Eevee. Although never one to complain about the plain look of his pampers, neither does the toddler tire of adding a splash of color to his attire, for even in the case of the littlest kids, variety’s the spice of life!
PSSSSSSSSSSHHH….
“Aaaah….”
But, beyond the soothing stillness and serene sounds, beyond the silly and spectacular sights, there’s the sensation babies like him like best of all when it comes to being wet….warmth. Developing all around his diaper while his bladder nears the end of its business, Emmett now sports a warmer and wider smile suggesting nothing but satisfaction and relaxation, his body drooping just like his profusely peed pampers as he dopily sighs in relief. Sure, those distanced from diapers will say the fact he soiled himself is simply disgusting, but the tot who sees no shame in his soaking would insist the more mature are missing out, for the warmth of his diaper feels like a delightful dip in a hot tub, a relaxing bliss to rival the best of summer vacations. The tinkling toddler’s torrent then starts to slow down, gradually declining to a dribble before coming to a complete stop, and with that, it’s all done.
“Phew…”
Things only get radically more relaxing as Emmett exhales another soothed sigh. No longer feeling the heavy pressure that preceded his release, no longer feeling the several twinges and twitches that begged him to let his bladder loose, a wave of relief rewards the diaper-clad kid for a job well done.
“Hehehehe!”
SLOSH! SLOSH! SLOSH!
And of course, just like any job well done, a celebration must follow suit! Playfully shaking his hips, heartily giggling and laughing, wetness further shows its wonders as the relaxing shifts to the rambunctious and the baby boy breaks into boisterous dance. Back and forth! Back and forth! Even when the lack of a lumpy mess gives it less mass, sogginess still suits such silly shenanigans as Emmett’s saggy diaper swings between his legs, all while its sloshy sounds make for the perfect music to pair with his number one dance number.
“Hmm-hmm-hmm…hmm-hmm-hmm…”
Adding another tune to the toddler’s soggy shimmy is the sound of soft hums while Avery finishes doing the dishes amidst such diaper dancing.
“Hmm-hmm-hmm…….hm?”
Although, as she turns around moments later, the Audino swiftly realizes that wetness still isn’t out the window even with the sink now silent, that there’s still something to clean even with the dishes now done. Smelling the aroma of ammonia in the air, hearing sloshy sounds around the area, seeing the stained and saggy pampers her son’s showing off in the silliest way possible, Avery can’t deny she’s got another mess to address. And yet, as though to also celebrate sogginess as she softly smiles, even in the case of the caretaker with a kid to clean up, wet still has its wonders, for Avery’s well-aware her baby boy could have packed his poofy pants with the poop whose pungency demands prominently more parental preparation.
“Go, Emmett, go! Do the diaper dance! Go, Emmett, go! Do the diaper dance!” Avery cheers as she claps her hands, adding lots more musicality to the little one’s lively antics.
With wetness being of little worry for both parent and child, the light yellow stains on the toddler’s diaper only make for more lighthearted moments as the Audino laughs alongside her silly son and the Eevee continues to move and groove amidst his mother’s encouragement.
“Hahaha, you’re so silly, sweetie!” Avery says, playfully patting the boy’s head before heading upstairs.
And so with wet diapers being way less demanding, while she takes the extra time to move the changing supplies downstairs and organize them on the living room’s carpeted area, Emmett gets many more seconds to wiggle and shake his soggy tush, eliciting lots of laughs from the kid immersed in the innocence of silly and sloshy splendor.
“Okay, it’s time to move that soggy butt over here, sweetheart! Mommy’s gotta change your diaper!” Avery says in a sing-song voice as she lightly pats the changing mat and welcomes wetness once again.
WADDLE! WADDLE! WADDLE!
SLOSH! SLOSH! SLOSH!
The tyke still smiles and laughs as he slowly makes his way to mommy, loving how his peed pamps make even the most basic movements so full of silly sights and sounds. So too does the caretaker contently smile, not only at the adorable sight of her son, but also from knowing it’ll be easy to change the Eevee’s diaper relative to more rancid messes.
“Hehehe…oh!”
However, although Emmett has emptied all that apple juice, the breakfast he ate alongside it now begs to join the pool party in his pampers as another sudden pressure sends him to a stop. Certainly not one to discriminate either deed done in diapers, the baby boy promptly pops a squat and allows more waste in the place where liquids and solids can get along.
BRAAAAAAAAP!!!
“Mmmmmmmmph!”
PLOP! PLOP!….SLUUUUMP!!
After a loud fart alerts the tot it’s time for number two, Emmett drops a duo of dumpy doo doo into his diaper, causing it to droop down to his feet as the pair of poopy solids settle.
“Aaaaaaah…”
While stinkies have now taken some of the spotlight, wetness still has its wonders to show as the kid cracks the most carefree of smiles and blissfully slouches his body following such a dopey and satisfied sigh. Along with the wave of relief washing over him after pushing all of that pressure away, the warmth that’s now all the more pronounced with this pairing of pee pee and poo poo feels nothing short of supremely soothing to the little guy who’s already got it so good, the toddler whose sole responsibilities are playing with toys, packing his pampers, and providing lots of love and smiles for his parent.
Conversely, things just got a lot more complicated for that caretaker in question as fouler smells accompany the kid’s crowding of his crinkly garment. From looking forward to quick and easy cleanup to suddenly dealing with the dirtiest of double whammies since her son’s both a soaker and a stinkier, wetness now gives Avery way more work to do compared to a toddler’s typical number two. And yet, even with solid and liquid loads upping the workload, the Audino’s positive attitude doesn’t decline, for along with the Normal-type knowing it’s nothing but normal for little ones to make all kinds of big messes, she’d never want to sour the mood when her adorable baby boy is as happy as can be.
“All done, darling?” Avery simply asks.
“I done, Mommy!” Emmett happily responds with a nod of his head.
As if the warm feelings of his full diaper aren’t already so relaxing to the Eevee, with gentle hands slowly lifting him up and laying him down, with his back cozily caressed by the soft surface of the changing mat while he looks at the warm and loving face of his mother, what simply stemmed from a bladder full of juice has now become a bountifully blissful experience, a sublime series of both silly and soothing events.
“Phew, that’s a pretty big mess, buddy!” Avery says with a gentle giggle as she undoes the dirty diaper and sets it to the side.
While Emmett has now parted ways with his soaked and stinky pampers, wetness still has one more wonder to show. With such mashups of wet and messy making more for mommy to clean up, that means a bunch more baby wipes for the boy who loves their cool and cleansing texture, as well as prominently more powder for the little kid who loves its cloud-like look.
“And….all done!” Avery says shortly after the change concludes.
Lifted back on his feet and given a kiss on the cheek, although those amusing antics have come to pass, as he looks down at his new diaper, the Eevee smiles knowing he’ll soon have the chance to experience all that wondrous whimsy of wetness once again.
