Adored and attended to all day long, having countless chances to cherish time with their caretakers, being a baby is anything but boring! And, when those tykes are walking and talking tots, life is a whole lot livelier! With all the agency needed to uncover the universe’s near unlimited unknowns, with their small bodies and active minds making even the most simple stimuli so sublime, all while having all the time for fun and playful pursuits when filling their diapers is their only duty, toddlers are truly the ones that can say the world is their oyster!
However, for a certain baby boy buckled to his booster seat, the stars have aligned in such a strange way that not even the energetic Emmett can salvage much fun from his current circumstances. The left window once welcoming him to a feature presentation of freeways full of colorful cars has stopped its screening due to mommy suddenly realizing she has to stop for fuel, and in its place are the stagnant sights of a gas station surrounded by empty space. The radio once booming with tunes begetting the boy’s boisterous movements, the songs that made his seat the spot to shake and shimmy, are now replaced by silence that makes no room for movin’ and groovin’. Not even the consistent presence of a caretaker can keep the kid content since she must stay so focused on refueling, meaning no quips on his cute appearance, no playful praise for his sporadic and silly shenanigans, nor can the Eevee even enjoy the bare minimum of a mother’s love since such separation isn’t suited for kisses on the cheek.
Instead, all the kid can currently do is sit….completely…..still. Although down time is a staple for such diaper-clad kids devoid of difficulties, the Normal-type toddler would rather not do nothing right now, for even other sitting scenarios can suit his need for stimuli. He could be sitting in the high chair where he can make an art canvas from his cuisine, decorate his face with spaghetti sauce, or await the blessings of a bottle….but he’s not. He could be sitting in the bathtub where he’d be welcomed by warm waters, bunches of bubbles, and rubber duckies…but he’s not. He could be sitting on the couch whose soft surface is conducive to watching cartoons and receiving cuddles…but he’s not. He could be sitting on the bouncer that makes fun and snappy movements from such seated stillness…but he’s not. Heck, even the bed is more stimulating for sending him to the dynamic dreamscapes, but neither is Emmett feeling the need to sleep since nap time isn’t till later. Accentuating the little one’s lack of activity are the red velcro shoes he sports not even touching the ground despite being so suited for stomping and romping around the mall his mom is headed to. Feeling boredom for perhaps the first time in his little life, what’s a booster seat bound baby supposed to do while so much is at a standstill?
PBLAAAAAART!!!
Lucky for this little one, it’s only a matter of time till there’s some movement! His lack of continence coming to save the day, boisterous bottoms make for the perfect boredom buster as Emmett suddenly finds himself filling his pants.
“Hehehehe!”
Often having to push and grunt to get those stinkies out of his system, the carefree kid is always content to not exert any effort whenever his bowels decide to do their own thing. Experiencing his rancid release in real time, the Eevee gleefully giggles as solids swiftly dump into his diaper, so amused by the sight of it expanding like a balloon and assuming a lumpier look while sudden loads slightly lift up his legs. Although the boy’s bowels are seemingly empty in seconds, that doesn’t make his mess feel any less magical as he cracks a silly smile, and who can blame him? Truly, to the innocent and incontinent, it’s nothing short of spectacular to go from sitting around to…Presto! A pile of poop in their pampers!
“Poo poo!” the toddler then says with cheerful clapping, not only applauding this poopy performance, but also the chance to say the silliest words that signify those stinky solids.
Emphasizing that Emmett’s now in no short supply of silly stimuli, the fact the diaper he once pictured as a soft and pristine pillow for his posterior now looks more like a big and bloated beanbag for his butt keeps the little Eevee laughing while squishy and lumpy textures allow tactile sensations to also amuse the tot. But, while the whimsy of his mess is more than enough to keep him entertained amidst his mother’s obligations, unbeknownst to the baby boy, he’s in for a swell encore as well!
PSSSSSSSSSH!!!
His bladder making things all the sillier as his pampers start to swell, so too does the toddler enjoy the soggy spectacle’s splashes of color while the plain whites of his loaded and lumpy diaper further livens its look with light yellows. Sure, the bombast of his bowels made for an amazing surprise to start the opening act, but the Eevee equally appreciates the longer length of this second movement while the stream persists for several more seconds and welcomes him with soothing warmth. Moments later, silence fills the car following the thorough filling of his diaper, but the baby is quick to break it once again.
“Pee pee!” Emmett says with more amused applause, seizing the chance to use more of that silly lingo while expressing his love for the performance his bladder and bowels brought.
As her son continues to enjoy those soggy and stinky surprises, Avery will soon realize she’s in for her own surprise as she finishes fueling. Putting the nozzle back in its proper place, the car now completely filled, upon opening the passenger door, the Audino is swiftly informed that’s not the only thing that’s been filled.
“Okay, Emmett! We’re ready to g- Oh! Looks like you really had to go!” Avery says before acquiring the diaper bag from the front seat.
While the mess masking the smell of gasoline is even fouler, rather than decrying the dirty diaper she’ll have to deal with, she smiles at the little one who spices up her life with surprises of the sweet, silly, and smelly kind. As the baby is unbuckled from his booster seat and gently carried out of the car, he smiles not only at his loving and caring mother, but also at the silly sight of his soaked and stinky diaper slumping down to his feet.
“Quite a full diaper you got there, cutie pie!” Avery says with a laugh as she opens up the trunk, such quips on his cuteness getting a giggle from the tot as well.
However, after being slowly and gently laid on a changing mat, Emmett suddenly feels a potent pressure down below, the boy more attuned to his bowels now that he’s not bored out of his mind. Kicking his feet and scrunching his face, only now knowing he’s not entirely empty yet, the kid quickly shows another catch to his lack of continence while his mom makes the preparations.
“Mmmmph!”
BLOORT!…SLUMP!
Dumping another solid until his diaper, a dopey sigh follows suit. Now noticing an even fouler smell as the rest of the supplies are at the ready, Avery’s face goes from slightly scrunched to significantly more surprised upon seeing her son’s diaper is saggier than it was seconds ago. But, seeing her boy is still happy, the one thing kept constant amidst a life that can be anything but, she certainly won’t make a big deal out of a bigger mess.
“You’re just full of surprises today, aren’t ya, Emmett?” Avery says as they both let out another laugh, the tot appreciating that praise of his sporadic and silly shenanigans.
Despite that sudden second stinky, the Audino’s able to clean the Eevee up with poise and proficiency, undoing his dirty diaper and plopping it into the trash before lifting his legs and using several baby wipes on the toddler’s tush.
“And…all done!” Avery powders the boy’s bottom before snugly securing a clean diaper around his waist. “Now, off we go!”
With Emmett buckled back into his seat and kissed on the cheek, with Avery getting back on the road, it’s more than likely mother and son will be met with even more surprises amidst their errands. But, whether it’s sudden stinky diapers on Emmett’s end, parking problems on Avery’s end, and everything in between, they’ll be taken in stride by toddler and parent alike.
